This is the first time I have used L T Flooring, and I am very pleased with the service and quality of the carpet.
I can’t fault them! From the initial discussion with Brad in the shop - measuring up / more discussion and a very reasonable quote! It was an unexpectedly long day for the two friendly hard working fitters (replacing stairs & landing carpet - sorting a squeaky floorboard and replacing very old bathroom vinyl in a tiny bathroom with limited access!). A great local company who I have no hesitation in recommending!

Very impressed with LT Carpets & Flooring from start to finish. Our Living Room looks like a completely different room with the new Karndean flooring down. The fitter Luke worked incredibly hard and was very thorough, ensuring everything was perfect.
LT Flooring helped sell the house. Based on estate agent advise (bad idea) we listed my late Dad's property with the 80s patterned carpets/wallpaper. After 3months on no or lowball offers we bit the bullet and redecorated throughout. Best decision was to ask LT to recarpet. Fitted us in with 3 weeks of initial enquiry, did a knock out job at a good price. And to prove it 2days after LT finished, first viewing paid the asking price. LT flooring did and excellent job on my rented property despite several difficulties face by and uncooperative tenant. This included a missed appointment and not clearing the area as instructed. Shaun was especially courteous all though the process and finally got the job done much to the satisfaction of the tenants themselves!

The team at LT Flooring was amazing! We came to them with a really complex and crazy idea for our downstairs floor (and also carpeted the stairs and landing for us) - four different LVT tile brands, multiple colours and laying patterns 'pixelating' into one another and completely bespoke. They took what we'd drawn out on a piece of paper and coloured with pencil and pen and made it into an amazing reality for us! Absolute superstars who we highly recommend! 2000 stars!

The guys were extremely helpful while we were choosing the LVT and carpet flooring - especially as we had no experience of LVT in the past. Nothing was too much trouble for Shaun and Jake in the store. Luke and Callum were friendly and did a great job with the LVT in herringbone design. I contacted this company to fit LVT flooring in our factory showroom. They were professional and helpful from first point of contact. My initial email enquiry was very quickly answered, Lee Taylor came out and measured up and was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. After a visit to the shop to choose our tiles, Lee very quickly followed up with his quote, which was clearly laid out as to the works that would be done. The floor was fitted very well, with minimal disruption by Lee and his team. Really can't fault this company, the floor is beautiful and constantly gets compliments from out guests.
We had a dream experience with LT, the whole process from choosing to measuring to fitting was seamlessly smooth and they were always quick to respond to queries. We can't fault the quality of the carpet and fitting. They even came to the rescue a few days after the carpet was initially fitted to repair some damage caused by another company's delivery men. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

I wanted to say what a pleasure it was to do business with LT flooring. We approached them to have some black & white vinyl laid. From the moment I called them Anna was extremely helpful. They always got back when they said they would and Lee arrived on time for the quote and was very professional and courteous, also making sure I was aware of a couple of small problem areas. The fitters were on time and friendly, and the overall finish was very good. Really would recommend this company, especially as Anna gets back by email extremely quickly and efficiently!

Great service, a little more expensive than others but the fitters are skilled and knowledgeable and the end result shows that. We now have a very impressive looking room thanks to their detail and recommendation of a quality product. Considering the flooring should last 25 years, we made the right choice by investing in a company like LT to do the job properly.
Been searching for a carpet have used LT Flooring b4 so paid them a visit excellent choice and options to choose from, we had to have our carpet customise to fit our living room, but the service and professional attitude towards us being the client was right there at the top. LT replaced some very old carpets with some lovely laminate flooring in my living room, dining room and hallway, all carried out very efficiently and it looks amazing. Really friendly, helpful and professional staff. LT were recommended to me by a friend and I have recommended them on to another! Very pleased.
Lee fitted my lounge and hall flooring and couldn't be happier with the work, was very clean tidy and all at a fair price. However, I recently asked for a quote for three bedrooms, stairs and landing (total 62 Square meters) in a £20.99 square meter carpet and was quoted £2,800!!!! A company local to Colchester quoted £18.99 square meter on this carpet and £310 for the top quality underlay which works out £1,500 and a local carpet fitter who has been going for 20+ years has quoted £250 to lay the carpets. Just trying to work out where the extra £1,050 comes into it? Having queried this quote was told they 'offer a different service'???? Very disappointed with the muggy quote, would recommend the service buy obviously its now at a very high premium! Wish you all the best but I'm a Scutcher and there is no moisture behind my ears!!!!
We're currently in the middle of renovating our house and wanted to look for new carpets and flooring for the hallway. We came across LT Flooring on google and decided to request a quote. LT Flooring were brilliant from the beginning, we got to pop into the shop back in August and look at the different samples. The work has been completed this week and it looks amazing. Found out about LT Flooring via TrustATrader. Once I saw their name I made a decision to speak to them. The boss Mr Lee Taylor took my call Our conversation was such that I liked what I heard. Initially impressed with Lee's apparent knowledge, experience and attention to detail especially his persuasive insistence on ensuring that a floor is absolutely levelled before he lays a floor . However Lee fitted our (own sourced) engineered wood floor to the entire (concrete) ground floor of our refurbished house (Jan 2018) ; and while it looked great it was immediately apparent that it creaked and visibly moved in places where the floor was not as level as it could have been. In several places too, the levelling compound where used was poor causing the floor to visibly swell. Lee did return to replace two areas and this time stuck them down and they appear to be holding. However there are several other places where the same thing has occurred and Lee has not returned to put it right despite saying he would. We are left with a sub standard fitted floor and faced with the expense of getting a more professional floor specialist to replace the floor.
Good range of flooring and helpful staff. Bit tricky to find if you don't know where it is.
