LT Carpets and Flooring

We have used LT carpets in nearly all the rooms in the house and have always found them efficient, reasonable, helpful and friendly

Good price and fast efficient service. Friendly staff.

My kitchen floor was laid beautifully , with great attention to detail.

This is the first time I have used L T Flooring, and I am very pleased with the service and quality of the carpet.

I can’t fault them! From the initial discussion with Brad in the shop - measuring up / more discussion and a very reasonable quote! It was an unexpectedly long day for the two friendly hard working fitters (replacing stairs & landing carpet - sorting a squeaky floorboard and replacing very old bathroom vinyl in a tiny bathroom with limited access!). A great local company who I have no hesitation in recommending!

Top class professional service, Lewis is very knowledgeable and friendly and takes his time to ensure he gets everything just right.

100% highly recommend, had our flooring done 5 years ago, fab service, great product. We accidentally scratched two wooden tiles and the customer service and the fitter came out so quick. Defo will be back for our next flooring!

Fantastic service, big shout to the fitter Luke.. he worked hard and ensured my carpet and floor was fitted to perfection (excellent job) he was friendly and professional. Definitely recommend LT Carpets & Flooring.

Highly recommended, expert at their work and great people who value their customers. Got my living room flooring done recently. Thanks for excellent and timely work.

such a great firm. So helpful and accommodating. Would not use anyone else

Very professional from start to finish, chaps that came to fit the flooring were clean, tidy and we are very very happy with the outcome - would certainly recommend

We had our hallway, landing and stairs carpeted by LT Carpets and Flooring . The fitting is extremely neat, especially on the stairs and around the door thresholds. Everything was done professionally and left clean and tidy. The carpet looks great and feels high quality. Highly recommend LT Carpets and Flooring.

Really pleased with the LVT flooring fitted by Lee’s team at LT Carpets and Flooring. From start to finish they were friendly, professional, and gave clear, honest advice which made the whole process easy. The fitting was done to a very high standard, with great attention to detail, and everything was left clean and tidy. The team turned up when they said they would and clearly take pride in their work. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality LVT flooring and a reliable, stress-free service. Oliver Bradford

New carpet up stairs and LVT on landing area. Excellent job as always from LT. Sixth time using them. We don’t bother looking elsewhere. Was all done in two days and the chaps doing the job really worked hard. Has transformed a dull landing. Thanks LT.

Fantastic service from quote to final fix. Fitters were pleasant, professional and tidy.

Very impressed with LT Carpets & Flooring from start to finish. Our Living Room looks like a completely different room with the new Karndean flooring down. The fitter Luke worked incredibly hard and was very thorough, ensuring everything was perfect.

LT Flooring helped sell the house. Based on estate agent advise (bad idea) we listed my late Dad's property with the 80s patterned carpets/wallpaper. After 3months on no or lowball offers we bit the bullet and redecorated throughout. Best decision was to ask LT to recarpet. Fitted us in with 3 weeks of initial enquiry, did a knock out job at a good price. And to prove it 2days after LT finished, first viewing paid the asking price. Honestly you can't go wrong with LT Flooring! Not the best photos, don't do the job justice. Thank you Lee and team

Brilliant company to deal with, communications always good, absolutely fantastic installation by Luke, well pleased, Luke was fastidious in his job for us, cannot recommend enough.

We have just had LVT and carpets done in our home, with LT Flooring. Shaun and his team has been brilliant throughout the whole process. They have been attentive, prompt with responses, and efficient at carrying out the job. We have chosen J2 Flooring European Oak LVT and Abingdon's Country Collection Herringbone carpet and the final result has been awesome. We're glad that we have chosen a reliable local business, as they really care about their clients and do a quality job, so we can only recommend LT Flooring to everyone. Thanks again.

Great company to deal with. Very helpful and reasonably priced. the guys that laid the flooring were lovely and the job was done within a day. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Really fantastic experience working with the team at LT Flooring. They're communicative, helpful, efficient and very reasonably priced. We're so pleased with the new flooring they put in for us, especially as it resolved some extremely poor existing work that we inherited from a previous owner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and would work with them again on future projects.

Fantastic service from start to finish...fitting new floor was perfect!!!would highly recommend 👌

Absolutely brilliant service, excellent LVT and quality fitting. Would highly recommend!!!

Top class company. Excellent, helpful advice on survey for our new oak flooring in hall, lounge and dining room. Very accommodating on fitting dates around health issues, followed by a great job by a first class fitter. The end result exceeds our expectations. This is how a small business should be run.

Amazing ! Excellent service from office team and fitters. Excelled my vision and extremely pleased with finished project. Really lovely fitters and fitted perfectly first time round. Highly recommend:)

Super pleased with our new carpet. Great service and excellent fitting.

The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful, flexible efficient and understanding. I am delighted with my new flooring and will not hesitate to use L.T. Flooring again. Very happy customer, thank you.

Lee at LT flooring was extremely helpful when we had an unexpected rush job, three carpets chosen and fitted in under a week. Also if you’re lucky you’ll get Tariq the fitter he’s a legend !

Excellent service from visiting the show room to Luke fitting our new floor. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend and will definitely use again.

A very good service and no problem helping you out thank you

Really pleased with the click flooring fitted in our hallway. Overall the service was excellent and promptly provided. Highly recommend LT Flooring

We thought we would try a local independent carpet showroom rather than the normal mainstream suppliers. An excellent decision it was to. Great service from the moment we stepped into the showroom, the measuring up service, choosing the right flooring and to the fitting. Definitely recommend. Great service.

Lee was very helpful

Great service, friendly and informative with competitive prices, would recommend to anyone.

Really pleased with Shaun and Jake @ LT carpets. I’m really pleased with my carpet, they managed a quick turn around and did it for a fantastic price. Thanks guys.

So far the service had been excellent.

Amazing company fair price was able to do to do my flooring early, the fitter Luke was nice and accommodating and I love my carpet

Communication was great from start to finish. The LVT flooring I had fitted is perfect - neat, smart and great quality. Thanks guys

Great service from start to finish. We received really helpful advice as to the best type of flooring for our particular need, even helping with colour decision. Fitter Luke was great. A friendly guy who explained everything clearly and did a really tidy job. Would definitely recommend this local business.

Excellent service from start to finish, plus swift and really pleased with the product and finish. Thank you!

LT flooring did and excellent job on my rented property despite several difficulties face by and uncooperative tenant. This included a missed appointment and not clearing the area as instructed. Shaun was especially courteous all though the process and finally got the job done much to the satisfaction of the tenants themselves!

Good quality carpet and underlay, well fitted and super clean. Very good from start to finish

Most helpful and friendly service. Had several rooms fitted at different times, all excellent.

The team at LT Flooring was amazing! We came to them with a really complex and crazy idea for our downstairs floor (and also carpeted the stairs and landing for us) - four different LVT tile brands, multiple colours and laying patterns 'pixelating' into one another and completely bespoke. They took what we'd drawn out on a piece of paper and coloured with pencil and pen and made it into an amazing reality for us! Absolute superstars who we highly recommend! 2000 stars!

Excellent service from start to finish. We Were looking for LVT floor, they were very knowledgeable and helpful during the selection process with lots of brand options, gave a fair quote and the installer was brilliant, working hard resulting in an floorless finish. Thank you J&K

Amazing service from start to finish, can not recommend highly enough. L Holder

I am really pleased with the Amtico flooring fitted by LT Carpets and Flooring. The end result is excellent and they managed to work around kitchen appliances and a heavy sofa. Excellent communication throughout. Fitted at a time to suit. A hassle free experience.

We just had our floor fitted by Lt flooring team and a great job! Our experience from the showroom to installation has been great. everyone has been super helpful. We arranged to be done while we we away and the floor looks exactly how we wanted it to. Thank you so much Lt Flooring team.

These guys gave superb service when we needed a new floor in a rental property. They were prompt and polite with communications, the quality of the fitting was superb, all very neatly sealed around the bath and the product was high quality for the price. Highly recommended!

They were brilliant. The floor looks wonderful. The fitter went above and beyond taking real pride in his work, all to our benefit. They were very accomodating to the demands of a busy family home and children getting in the way. And a great price too!

These are my Invoice numbers INV-5983 INV-6004 INV-5774. I have been your customer. Please don't make it out like I have mistakenly put this review for the wrong company.

friendly staff, good service. would recommend.

I have used this company a number of times and always find the experience first class. They always have what I want at a competitive price, and I am always more than happy with the end product.

We just had our floor fitted by Lt flooring team, what a great job! Our experience from the showroom to installation was great. Guys at the shop are super helpful and fitters are very highly skilled and very friendly. Our floor looks exactly how we wanted it thanks to Lt Flooring team. Keep up a great work guys and thank you again !

The guys were extremely helpful while we were choosing the LVT and carpet flooring - especially as we had no experience of LVT in the past. Nothing was too much trouble for Shaun and Jake in the store. Luke and Callum were friendly and did a great job with the LVT in herringbone design. Great job also from Paul (?) who did the stairs and landing carpet. Really pleased with the finished job. Highly recommended.

Very efficient and good value. Very friendly and accommodating fitters who left everything immaculate. Thanks

The Floor looks great, from our porch right through our hall, living room and dining room. Luke and Callum were meticulous in the preparation and laying of our LVT floor. It's only recent hence 4☆. Thank you LT Flooring.

2nd time of using LT Carpets and Flooring, this time to lay LVT in lounge and hall; excellent job at a reasonable price

Fantastic company great job very helpful

Really nice people to work with. Very helpful and responsive

Found LT carpets and flooring very helpful and professional with there advice does go a long way

From the start of going into the Copford Showroom to look at flooring to having it laid, L T Flooring were very professional in every aspect. The showroom staff, estimator and fitters were all extremely helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend this company.

This place is old school absolute quality and service that just isn’t around in many places anymore they couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful they kept me updated on my order went to collect and again so helpful friendly and even carried the items to my car AMAZING service would absolutely recommend without fail.

Great service. Very helpful and knowledgeable team. Floor looks great. Many thanks

Engineered wooden flooring and carpets were beautifully laid by LT flooring in our newly built home. Runner carpets on stairs were done exactly to specifications on a rather tricky staircase. Thanks to Lee for the exceptional manner in which he oversaw the whole project. Both Scott and Phil were personable and professional in the way they conducted themselves in our home. Thanks LT flooring 🙏

This company did a superb job on our Bungalow. 2 rooms carpeted and the rest planks. All dates were met, staff including those at the coal face, skilled, tidy and friendly. I would recommend this company based on quality of service and attention to detail.

I recently hired LT Carpets and Flooringy to undertake a job that involved ripping out the old carpet and replacing it with Amtico flooring in my lounge and a portion of the hallways. The entire process, from obtaining a quote to the completion of the project, was exceptionally smooth and hassle-free. The initial quote process was painless, and I was impressed by how quickly I received a detailed estimate for the work. This quick response was a positive sign of their professionalism and efficiency. The installation itself took a total of two days, which was quite impressive given the extent of the project. The team worked diligently and efficiently throughout this period, demonstrating their expertise in the field. The final result exceeded my expectations. The quality of the work was exceptional, and the Amtico flooring they installed has transformed my space. It's not just me who's noticed; I've received numerous compliments from friends and family about the beautiful new flooring. I can wholeheartedly say that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others. Their professionalism, efficiency, and commitment to delivering a high standard of work make them a top choice for flooring projects. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome and the experience of working with them.

Fantastic company. HUGE range of products, excellent, skilled fitters who were personable and clean. Reliable and do exactly what you need. HIGHLY recommend.

I contacted this company to fit LVT flooring in our factory showroom. They were professional and helpful from first point of contact. My initial email enquiry was very quickly answered, Lee Taylor came out and measured up and was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. After a visit to the shop to choose our tiles, Lee very quickly followed up with his quote, which was clearly laid out as to the works that would be done. The floor was fitted very well, with minimal disruption by Lee and his team. Really can't fault this company, the floor is beautiful and constantly gets compliments from out guests.

We had a dream experience with LT, the whole process from choosing to measuring to fitting was seamlessly smooth and they were always quick to respond to queries. We can't fault the quality of the carpet and fitting. They even came to the rescue a few days after the carpet was initially fitted to repair some damage caused by another company's delivery men. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

The service we received from Lee and Anna at LT Flooring was excellent. Phil the carpet fitter was very professional and completely transformed our rooms! Can highly recommend using LT Flooring.

New flooring can outlast other decorating decisions. LT Flooring help put the solution together and then deliver the solution professionally and with pride in their work. I can highly recommend LT Flooring. Many thanks to Luke, Lee and Anna for delivering the project at my house.

Reliable, friendly company. Arrive when they say they will and good customer service. Scott made a brilliant job of my LVT flooring. Very pleased.

We always use LT FLooring and they never let us down. Helpful, efficient, friendly, well priced and they can help you whatever your flooring needs.

Fantastic service from LT Flooring. Swift, efficient, attention to detail and a joy to deal with. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wanted to say what a pleasure it was to do business with LT flooring. We approached them to have some black & white vinyl laid. From the moment I called them Anna was extremely helpful. They always got back when they said they would and Lee arrived on time for the quote and was very professional and courteous, also making sure I was aware of a couple of small problem areas. The fitters were on time and friendly, and the overall finish was very good. Really would recommend this company, especially as Anna gets back by email extremely quickly and efficiently!

Great job from start to finish. A really helpful session in the showroom quickly identified the perfect choice of flooring. They then liaised direct with our kitchen company to quote and fit when required. Excellent fitting service. Looks great.

Highly recommend this company, they were professional, prompt and my floors look brilliant, the floor fitter was also very friendly and efficient. Thank you very much for the fantastic service.

We are very pleased with the work that was done fitting the new vinyl flooring in our bathroom and would recommend the company to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

I recently had luxury vinyl tiles layed in my new fitted kitchen and I am extremely happy with the service I received - from the help and service of staff in the shop, the estimator and the fitter/s. Nothing was too much trouble and the finished result is first class. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone looking for new flooring. A fantastic job. Well done. Thank you.

Prompt, efficient, polite and knowledgeable.

Quality work. Competitive price.

Very nice people to deal with , can’t wait to see the flooring down up to now can’t fault them

Great service, a little more expensive than others but the fitters are skilled and knowledgeable and the end result shows that. We now have a very impressive looking room thanks to their detail and recommendation of a quality product. Considering the flooring should last 25 years, we made the right choice by investing in a company like LT to do the job properly.

Excellent job.

Been searching for a carpet have used LT Flooring b4 so paid them a visit excellent choice and options to choose from, we had to have our carpet customise to fit our living room, but the service and professional attitude towards us being the client was right there at the top. Would highly recommend LT Flooring to all my family and friends 10/10👍👍👍

An installation service at its best. Top quality flooring, with polite, punctual, professional installers, that provide an accurate and tidy job. Our second time using LT Flooring, and will use, and recommend again. Many thanks

The guys did a fantastic job very neat and tidy work. Well impressed, would use again 🤩

Very helpful and refitted a carpet at very short notice before Christmas when particularly busy. Sent boss out to ensure it was done in time. Can't fault the work.

I found the woman who works here to be very rude and abrupt with her tone, this made me take my business elsewhere. The guy who works here definitely is the one who knows how to talk to potential customers.

We had the Moduleo flooring fitted, and all was done to a very good standard. Minor issues were kindly addressed, and we're happy to recommend MT Flooring. Competitive prices and a broad range of quality products.

I have been using LT Flooring throughout lockdown and have been able to get samples of flooring brought to my house with no problem, both Shaun and Anna have been superb and very professional and knowledgeable. We are having our entire house fitted by them and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Great shop for all your flooring and advice staff know there job and the fitters are brilliant. Definitely recommend.

Lee came to measure very quickly and quote was issued next day. Booking a date was smooth and the two installers that laid the carpet were friendly, respectful and a credit to the business. Recommended.

Very professional company. Clearly explained all the steps from start to finish . Constantly in touch nothing too much trouble. Over the moon with the finished product. Would definitely recommend them.

Great service from start to finish. The team helped us with advice on carpet choices and then worked around our builders to install at a time that worked for us. Fitting team was great and lifted furniture out the way with no complaints. They even take away the rubbish and hoover round😃

LT replaced some very old carpets with some lovely laminate flooring in my living room, dining room and hallway, all carried out very efficiently and it looks amazing. Really friendly, helpful and professional staff. LT were recommended to me by a friend and I have recommended them on to another! Very pleased.

Lee fitted my lounge and hall flooring and couldn't be happier with the work, was very clean tidy and all at a fair price. However, I recently asked for a quote for three bedrooms, stairs and landing (total 62 Square meters) in a £20.99 square meter carpet and was quoted £2,800!!!! A company local to Colchester quoted £18.99 square meter on this carpet and £310 for the top quality underlay which works out £1,500 and a local carpet fitter who has been going for 20+ years has quoted £250 to lay the carpets. Just trying to work out where the extra £1,050 comes into it? Having queried this quote was told they 'offer a different service'???? Very disappointed with the muggy quote, would recommend the service buy obviously its now at a very high premium! Wish you all the best but I'm a Scutcher and there is no moisture behind my ears!!!!

We're currently in the middle of renovating our house and wanted to look for new carpets and flooring for the hallway. We came across LT Flooring on google and decided to request a quote. LT Flooring were brilliant from the beginning, we got to pop into the shop back in August and look at the different samples. The work has been completed this week and it looks amazing. For quite a narrow hallway, it has made a huge difference and we are very pleased with the result and hard work of LT Flooring Ltd. Would 100% recommend. Thank you!

Very happy with the job done. The floor looks superb, it was a complicated hallway, cloakroom and WC - lots of nooks and crannies and not many straight lines. Would thoroughly recommend LT Flooring, the work was done on time, the people doing the work were very polite and they left the place spotless. Could not ask for more.

Highly recommend LT Flooring to anyone who is looking for a professional floor fitter! They did an amazing job in our Bridal Shop on London Road, Colchester and we couldn't be happier! Thank you so much Lee! 5* Service! :)

Excellent service from start to finish. We have been using LT flooring for the last couple of years throughout our care homes, they use high quality products and have a great friendly team. We have always been happy with their service. Thank you.

Very professional team who changed all the carpets to wood flooring . Would recommend this company. Attention to detail.

Highly recommend this company after our recent vinyl flooring installation. Not only did LT Flooring have vast and excellent range to choose from but Lee was exceptionally helpful in making sure we chose the best to suit our home - great customer service. High standard of fitting from fitting team too. Thanks to Lee, Anna and Team 👍👍👍👍

They were very good of using bespoke materials (lino) that others wouldn't. Service was timely and professional. Would use them again.

such a helpful company throughout the whole process. We definitely were a challenging customer with so many questions and very undecided on which flooring to settle on from the huge/ excellent selection. After finally deciding they managed to get our job completed much earlier than expected to the highest quality. could not be happier. don't hesitate to use this company.

Excellent experience! Friendly, helpful, excellent quality carpet and flooring. We had wooden flooring and carpets fitted throughout the house with no problems at all. Punctual, courteous and tidy! Couldn't recommend LT Flooring highly enough!

Thank you LT Flooring! We were surprised how quickly and efficiently your team managed to supply and fit the flooring to a bathroom job of ours. Customer is over the moon and so are we. Will be using again. Josh Plumbing Heating Gas Solar Ltd.

Friendly service with sanitizer and face mask available as you enter.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Lee is an expert in flooring. Paul the floor fitter knows his stuff. Could not be more happier with the service. Would highly recommend. 5 star service

Excellent from start to finish. Came on time, worked cleanly and tidied up after. Excellent quality of flooring supplied and fitted.

Very happy with the quality flooring in my hallway and living room, it looks amazing! Will definitely be getting this company back to do my other rooms. Highly recommended

LT Flooring have now fitted Amtico flooring to four of our rooms and their service from start to finish is excellent. A professional and friendly local Company. Highly recommended.

Another fabulous job, thank you. Very neat, clean and tidy as well! Highly recommend these guys!

Really pleased with our new parquet flooring to hall, kitchen, cloakroom and utility room. Thanks to Lee, Brad and Tony for a great job.

Very friendly, very knowledgeable and great range, highly recommend

Lee has been doing my floors close to 20 years over two different houses. He's done great work for me and others I've recommended him to. His shop has a good range of innovative flooring

Excellent service from LT flooring. Lee gave us great advice with choices for flooring ,including carpets, laminate and vinyl. We couldn't be happier. Luke and Brad did the fitting with care and nothing was rushed. They were very professional and we would highly recommend LT Flooring.

Found out about LT Flooring via TrustATrader. Once I saw their name I made a decision to speak to them. The boss Mr Lee Taylor took my call Our conversation was such that I liked what I heard. Now that my job is completed, my choice is superb. I visited their office and shop. Excellent way to treat a customer, I was not even one yet but scouting to know if the outlet is good enough Am very impressed. They are professional, punctual and service is top marks 10/10. Highly recommended

Excellent job done on my kitchen and en-suite floor. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely impressed with the laminate floor provided and fitted by LT flooring. Would highly recommend this company.

Initially impressed with Lee's apparent knowledge, experience and attention to detail especially his persuasive insistence on ensuring that a floor is absolutely levelled before he lays a floor . However Lee fitted our (own sourced) engineered wood floor to the entire (concrete) ground floor of our refurbished house (Jan 2018) ; and while it looked great it was immediately apparent that it creaked and visibly moved in places where the floor was not as level as it could have been. In several places too, the levelling compound where used was poor causing the floor to visibly swell. Lee did return to replace two areas and this time stuck them down and they appear to be holding. However there are several other places where the same thing has occurred and Lee has not returned to put it right despite saying he would. We are left with a sub standard fitted floor and faced with the expense of getting a more professional floor specialist to replace the floor.

Poor customer service

Good range of flooring and helpful staff. Bit tricky to find if you don't know where it is.
