Poor job done on bathroom renovation & other jobs. Poor communication and didn't check things properly before doing the work. They installed a different item than what we bought, and not in the way that we requested (extractor fan installation). They also asked us to send them the links to the light fittings we wanted so they could confirm they would work in our place. Later when it turned out the fittings were not compatible, they refused to accept responsibility. We couldn't get a refund as they had thrown away the packaging. When we raised these issues, they blamed us, and were not at all forthcoming or friendly in trying to resolve them. They told us to order far too many tiles, and initially refused to give a discount to the bill to rectify this mistake, we had to push to get them to admit they were at fault. The jobs took a lot longer than expected - on more than one of the days, the workers didn't turn up and were apparently posted to do other jobs. The quality of the work was poor. It's normal to have snags towards the end of the project, but there was a long list of them, and they were bigger than small snags. A load of things not finished properly, not sealed, grout stains, parts still not installed, shower door not attached properly. They left a whole load of materials in our communal hall - we had to ask specifically for them to come back and take them away. There was another long delay waiting for the snags list to be addressed. We had to send so many emails to chase and address the issues, the attitude in response to these was not responsive or professional enough. Two months later we had a major issue with damp under the new bath tub. They refused to come and even have a look at it unless we covered travel costs 'if it wasn't their fault'. Who else's fault could it be when they were the ones who renovated the entire bathroom two months before? We decided to have a professional plumber come and have a look instead and they found a number of serious issues with leaks and poor work. The cost was £300 to fix the faulty job. One year later - the bathroom looks quite a lot older than one year, and we are not happy with it. I would avoid this company!
