Was not impressed Jim's attitude because my gates were damages in the last storm he felt it was below his dignity to repair them as to do so would affect his reputation. As far as I am concerned he did that all on his own by his arrogant attitude when I said I was unable to pay for new gates. I am a retired disable person on low income he felt I wasn't worth the effort to help just dismissed me when. I asked could he recommend anyone else. "Just ring round" in an off hand manor. If came I to money tomorrow would not use him or recommend him to anyone else.

18/9/25 Originally made contact for a side panel fence and then Jim gave me a date. Turned up when he said; brilliant. His communication throughout either by call or text was great. I discussed further fencing and some posts. He was absolutely helpful giving options and guidance to the project, and he provided the price (that did not alter when sending the invoice) which was very competitive. Used Lewis Fencing at my daughter’s house to repair fence . The old post was dug out and land made level.New fence hole dug and new post concreted in . Two panel with gravel boards fitted. Jim from Lewis fencing replaced a fence that had blown down before Christmas. Not only did he simply replace old for new, he advised on the best method of retaining the adjacent concrete drive, the end blocks of which had sunk down. So instead of having just a replacement timber close boarded fence we now have a much stronger fence, supported by concrete posts with concrete gravel boards adjacent to the drive. Jim also stabilised a separate 2.5 m high fence, which was leaning dangerously due to high winds. This was done by installing concrete spurs and bolting them to adjacent to existing timber posts. Both jobs were done efficiently, on time and at the prices quoted. We are delighted with each and can thoroughly recommend Lewis Fencing and Jim who was polite and a pleasure to have working at our home.

Our old fence was badly damaged on one side because the storm blew it down. We decided to replace one side with a more substantial fence.
