We had a number of jobs needed around the house including repairing a fan, installing the light for our new bathroom cabinet, fixing a broken switch and ensuring that some wiring was safe. Service was excellent, done very good on time and within budget and we're extremely happy with the price in the service

fantastic communication right from the start right up till the end of work. Advise given onsite and even when the work was to be carried out on the day and we was not sure on a socket it was no problem to talk it over and agree there and then what to do. Pricing was good and reasonable with easy payment. Staff very friendly, polite, respectful and very experienced. We will use again for future works and recommend Cobb Electrical to everyone wanting works done big or small.

Had been impressed with Cobb Electrical and had work done in the past. On this occasion the personal attending our property didn't fill with total confidence. On arrival we were greeted by 2 representatives from Cobb Electrical, one more mature gentlemen and a younger possible trainee. Entering our house the younger one came in consuming a lge can of "Monster" energy drink. We think this doesn't show professionalism when entering a client's house and also the risk of spillage. On this occasion we have chosen not to use Cobb Electrical

The team completed the work quickly and to a good standard, but the experience was dampened by poor billing practices. Despite finishing in under an hour, the invoice charged for 1.5 hours. Admin initially refused to amend the bill until we mentioned having door bell footage including showing the team sitting in their car after the job until exactly 1.5 hours after arriving. While the electrical work itself was fine, the lack of transparency and professionalism in billing was disappointing.

Would give a no star review if i could! I have had to deal with this company at the property I rent. They have tried to invoice me for not being at the property when I told them I would be at work and to collect the keys from the letting agent. Would avoid this company if possible.

I cannot comment on the electrics but one of the electricians helped me after a bike crash. He picked me up off the floor, but the bike in his van and drove me home. That’s the people you are dealing with. Gentlemen.

I have never had such a smooth, professional and reliable service from a trades person before. From the moment I called for a quote to have a smart heating control system fitted (and old system decommissioned) with some electrical sockets relocated, I would say the service I received was perfect. The person on the phone who made my booking was friendly, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. I then received text updates that the estimate appointment was booked, then a reminder of the appointment and a notification that Mr Cobb was on his way. Mr Cobb arrived on time and couldn't have be more polite, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He said he would get a quote to me within two days, and he did as he said he would. Again the process of booking the work to be completed with the reminders and punctuality being perfect again. Mr Cobb carried out the work in a respectful manner and did exactly as was quoted. He explained what he was upto during the work and kept checking how we would like things to be done when there were some choices. He was also very friendly to my two young children who took great interest into what was going on. I really am very surprised at how perfect this whole experience was and I would say all trades people should take a page out Cobb Electrical Ltd's book, as they could certainly learn a thing or two at how to do a job properly.

As always, effective ,efficient and timely. I would recommend them unreservedly.

i am delighted with the service I've received from Cobb Electrical Limited. This was a very special job, in that I'd installed a quality Garden Room, designed for me. Darren gave me his quote, explained what he would do, explained everything. When the work was underway, I could tell the two electricians were the best. the result is amazing! I was consulted about the practical and aesthetic details. The garden room has become ever more special for me. Expertise and respect for the customer and her environment couldn't have been better. First class service. I have been using Cobb Electrical for about 5 years now and I can recommend them 100%. They have a team of about 6-8 qualified electricians, so they can always get somebody out at short notice. They are polite, smartly turned out, turn up bang on time and check back with you before the drilling starts when placing new light, sockets etc to make absolutely sure they are going exactly where you want them. The invoices are very fair and detailed, so you can see exactly what you have paid for. I also think it's nice to support a genuine, local family firm (If you use them you will see there are quite a few Cobbs on the team !!). To sum up, a pleasure to deal with.

Sadly we had a really horrible experience with Cobb electrical. They had quoted for some work - which we did not want them to do as it was far too expensive, and as far as we could see, totally unnecessary. We asked them to quote on a different much smaller job and go ahead with the work (£110+vat), they then went ahead with the unnecessary and expensive work we did not want them to do, charged us over £1000 (instead of £110+vat) and threatened us with court if we did not comply. They were extremely intimidating. When I told them that the work they had carried out was unsafe as bare wires were left exposed and the front was left hanging off the fire alarm panel they accused us of tampering with it to make them look bad. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy.

I have used Cobb's through my own employer over a number of years for a variety of tasks. I have found their standards of work to be at the highest level, they can tackle anything from the simple up to complete commercial install, their wiring is neat and tidy and everything complies with the very latest regulations. On top of that, they are genuinely nice people to work with. Absolutely recommended
