Brightwave Renewables TA Brightwave Renewables & Electrical installs car chargers, outside lights, garden room wiring, solar panels and battery storage, fuse boards and a bespoke fibre exchange UPS. Reviewers describe him as knowledgeable and clear when explaining the work, and several say installations were neat and tidy. He is repeatedly described as friendly and helpful, and as professional and reliable. One reviewer reported that since their solar and battery installation their grid electricity use has been close to zero and they now use solar power to heat hot water. One reviewer said the layout and cabling of their fibre exchange UPS were carefully thought out, and another said a full electrical check of the house was carried out after replacing an unsafe fuse board. One review also describes the price as competitive.
Installed a car charger. Was very knowledgable, explained everything in detail, offered advice on other electrical products and was able to get work done within a week of reaching out.
Gavin fitted some outside lights for us, they look lovely. He is friendly & helpful.
Brightwave know their stuff! We appointed Brightwave to install a residential battery storage system and EV charger for a Vimma customer. Punctual, neat, and competitively priced. Spot on.
Gavin is a pro. Thanks for the help with the car charger. Looking forward to doing the solar panels once we have the cash save up. Many thanks for all your help.
I would absolutely recommend Brightwave renewables. The standard of work is exceptional. Neat, tidy and completed to an incredibly high standard. Very knowledgable across the board with all types of electrical and renewable contracts. I will be recommending to any friends and family in need of a reliable and trustworthy electrical business. Thank you.
Gavin is absolutely everything you want in a specialist - took time to really understand our system, treating it as if it was his own personal installation & making sure we had the best long term solutions. He went above & beyond researching our solar components and recommending their optimal configuration. We got everything we needed sorted in quick time, and feel totally reassured we're going to get great benefit from them for years to come!
Gavin did a great job wiring our garden room and took great care of our house and property while carrying out the work. Professional, tidy, and reliable throughout. Would definitely use Gavin again. 👍
Solar & battery storage installation – Brighton BN1 (Nov 2025) We recently had 13 solar panels, a Solis inverter and three Pylontech batteries installed by Gavin at Brightwave Renewables, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Gavin was professional, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly throughout the process. The installation was completed neatly and to a very high standard. Since April, our electricity use from the grid has been close to zero, and we’re even using solar power to heat our hot water, greatly reducing our gas usage too. Gavin genuinely cares about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend Brightwave Renewables for anyone considering solar panels or battery storage or anything electrical.
Great service from Gavin. We are very pleased with his neat and tidy job. Nothing could have been better - 5 stars!
Gav did an incredible job designing and building our bespoke fibre exchange UPS! Attention to detail on the cabling and a thoughtful layout means we are set for many years of off grid power. Solar next!
Gav installed a new fuse board to replace the unsafe setup from the 60s we had in the house we'd just moved into. He replaced everything and did a full electrical check of the house to ensure we were safe. Definitely recommend him.
