⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful local family business — highly recommended! I would like to give a very well-deserved recommendation to Lee Naylor and his team at Cables Electrical Installations Ltd. Lee originally came to my home in 2023 to install a burglar alarm and replace my bathroom lighting, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service. One of the things I particularly appreciated was his professional advice. I had my own ideas about the bathroom lights, but Lee suggested something different and reassured me that I would prefer the result. He was absolutely right! The bathroom is so much brighter and the lighting is far better than before. The burglar alarm installation was excellent. The team worked quickly, quietly and efficiently, taking enormous care of my home and leaving everything beautifully tidy. What really impressed me was their attention to detail. I was having two fitted bedrooms installed, so they thoughtfully left additional cabling to allow the alarm sensors to be repositioned around the new wardrobes and coving. Nothing was too much trouble. It was also especially lovely to have a female electrician working in my home — Lee’s daughter, Tiegan! Seeing father and daughter working together was a real pleasure. They were joined by Don, whose family I have known locally for many years. There is something particularly reassuring about employing a local business with such strong community connections, and it’s wonderful to see local people working together. Lee, Teagan and Don were all courteous, friendly, respectful and thoroughly professional. The alarm itself is brilliant. I love the nightlight feature in my hallway, and being able to control everything from my phone is so convenient. I’m not particularly technologically minded, but Lee patiently explained how it worked and set everything up for me. He also returned to service the system in 2024, and the aftercare has been excellent. Good tradespeople are worth their weight in gold, and Lee is certainly one of them. His workmanship, reliability, honesty, knowledge and consideration for his customers really stand out. A first-class electrician, a lovely team and a local business I am very happy to recommend. Despite new TV hub from Taklk Talk on TV's not working. Therefore, l called Cables Electrical on Saturday morning and Lee said he could visit us Tuesday lunchtime. He and his two colleagues duly arrived. He said would check things from bottom and work up. As a result he found that we required a new booster and TV aerial. All TV 's working. He and his colleagues very pleasant and professional. Would certainly recommend them for anything to do with electrics. They have a very comprehensive website.
Very pleased with their work rewiring our house. They were very punctual, did what they promised and left the house very clean and tidy. We have used cables several times over the years and recommend their work which is of a very high standard. The team are also friendly and have offered good advice.

did my full electrical rewire in our flooring store up & downstairs with ultimately best price we had from across 4 companies it got completed within a week kept everything nice and simple with only 1 power cut at the end so we could still work with previous electrics everything was explained dust sheets and kept clean through out we would deffo recommend!! so we had them back for there security system cameras & alarm system and then again for camera door bell! all there materials are top notch you want someone who knows there trade call these guys many thanks kirks carpets & wood floors ltd
Lee and the team upgraded our existing alarm system. They arrived on time, and very professional and friendly. Explained how to use the system and the app. Very happy with the installation, and would definitely recommend them.
Had quite a few bits that needed sorting. Some straightforward, some not. We needed new ceiling spotlights upstairs and downstairs and a hallway pendant light installing as well as a few new power sockets. Experience was good. A friendly team who made sure any mess or remedial work to ceilings was done and left tidy . Couple of other bits were also sorted on the day. Would definitely recommend Lee and the team for any works.
Great all round service. Returned calls and showed up when promised that's a massive plus for me. All work done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend and will be my first call if I need any other work done.

Very professional
Contacted Cables because the house alarm kept going off when the system wasnt set. Lee replied straight away and because of this problem managed to fit me in the next day which I was very thankful for. Communication and service is excellent. Lee is very polite and professional. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to use his company again.

What a thoroughly nice man, called Cables not knowing the shop had closed 4 years ago, although mine was probably the smallest job ever for him he saved me some right aggravation just by supplying some screws I couldn't find anywhere, thank you.

Called Cables out to reconfigure an alarm system. Unfortunately the box had been locked by a previous engineer and wasn't configurable. However they managed to find a way around it and accomplish what we asked for, all within the callout fee. Great price, friendly bloke would definitely recommend and will happily use again.
Aerial fitted with bird spikes to our 3rd storey house. Great service throughout with excellent correspondence. Spikes are working well, thanks so much. Plus, Cables was the only installer in the area that got back to us with it being a 3 storey house.

Went in to the shop and was unsure what I needed, however the advice given by the friendly staff got my TV up and running with no fuss, just in time for the Christmas repeats! Thanks again!!
Excellent friendly service. Needed a cable rewiring to fit a UPS and he did it within half an hour and only charged 6 quid! Bargain! Will definitely be recommending Cables Electrical to anyone and everyone! Also just a quick note to Mr Smith... are you sure you have the right shop? I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. You must be quite the fool if you went to Maplin... The prices at Cables Electrical are more than reasonable and the staff are very knowledgeable too. More than can be said for the idiots they hire at Maplin who don't even know what a standard IEC lead is...
