We recently had an external 3-pin plug socket installed and our fuse box replaced and are pleased with the work carried out. The electrician was professional and very reliable throughout the job. Everything was completed to a high standard and left neat and tidy afterwards.
Jim, Dave and Jack are such a brilliant team. They are competent, friendly, patient and thoughtful, they bring a real intelligence and care to the job. I needed a partial rewire and some other things and Jim project managed everything brilliantly, including sub contracting a survey (by the equally excellent Bash), Jim takes such care to be responsive and proactive, he checked in every day that I was happy, which I was - Dave and Jack who did the work were a pleasure to have in the house, very considerate, with minimal disruption and such tidy workmanship. I had an issue that was nothing to do with their work (a faulty oven) - they helped me out with that too. 100% recommend this conscientious and trustworthy company who’ll go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with the job.

Jim and his team attended our electrical issue really quickly, and helped understand the issues before giving us a really reasonable quote with no expectation to book in with him. They sourced our lights for us, checked in throughout their visit about how we would like the light settings and advised us on lighting options to ensure we chose safe fittings for areas such as the bathroom. I phoned Jim first thing this morning as we were having problems with our electrics. By midday, he had sorted out the problem and explained what had gone wrong. He was friendly and cleaned up after himself. Jim made sure that we were happy with the job and we encountered no more problems (followed up with a call later that day) before accepting payment. The electrics kept tripping and I didn't know why. I called JD Electrics and spoke to Jim mid morning. By 4 o'clock the same day Jim had been, found the fault and got it sorted. Excellent service, fast, honest and knowlegable. He even rang me that night to check everything was OK (which it was). I would thoroughly recommend.

For a number of years now JD Electrics have been my go-to electrician. They are very reliable and come out promptly in emergencies. The work is of a very good standard and they are very helpful and easy to communicate with.
After the plasterers left me with a broken bathroom light, contacted Jim & after a quick chat, he agreed to come round the same morning. job completed to an excellent standard, by a complete gentleman! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Couldn’t recommend JD Electrics and Jim more if I tried! I’ve had them come and do a couple of jobs, very reasonable rate and have managed to fit me in on short notice on both occasions. Jobs were completed to the highest standard by friendly guys who were tidy and polite. Tried to sort a socket face myself, made a mess of it! J D Electrics came out within 15 mins and sorted it for me, which is wonderful as I have a small baby and needed power!

Jim has just been to install an oven for me - he replaced the cooker outlet and installed the oven. He charged over £30 less than it would have cost to get the oven installed by John Lewis (who supplied the oven). He also trimmed down a drawer for me using a handsaw and file as the drawer was out of alignment and stopped the oven door from opening, which is over and above as he could have left that for me to sort out. I called him on the Saturday. I sent him some photos of the plug and a switch and he quoted the same day. He arrived on time on the Tuesday having called 30 minutes before to let let me know that he was on his way over. He managed to do the job without turning the power off at the mains. He is a very nice chap and we had a good natter while he worked. He also swept up during and after. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone and he's definitely now our go-team electrician. Brilliant service, really nice man.
These guys just rewired our whole house and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. It's messy, noisy, disruptive work but they've done everything they can to make it as painless as possible. We were able to work from home the whole time, which no other company could do for us (in fact others asked us to leave the house for 2 weeks!). They also came out within 20mins the next day after when an alarm engineer needed their help with something. Would recommend to anyone and will use them in future!

Jim from J.D. Electrics has just installed some new light fittings to our home, and carried out some general much needed electrical repairs. No job is too small and it was a pleasure to work with Jim who is friendly, efficient and carries out work to a very high standard. I had an emergency this morning with a smoking kitchen socket when I turned on my tumble drier.. It was a different socket that was smoking! I looked for a local stretford electrician with good reviews. Jim arrived within 10 minutes and explained the problem and had me back up and running with 25 minutes of arriving. I was extremely impressed that he came so quicky, as I was very worried about having no power, and the smoke in the kitchen was very frightening. So i would highly recommend him. Also he did not overcharge me or try to get me to do necessary electrical work.

Rung Jim after encountering a problem with my bathroom light fitting on a Saturday morning. Due to other commitments he told me the soonest he could be at my house was 9.30 Monday. And he was there ! My tenant’s hob broke on Thursday and a new one was fitted today Tuesday is that not just great service!! I had an electrical emergency contacted JD Electrics and Jim was here not long after, friendly and understanding He identified and fixed the issue very quickly, reasonable price. Recommended. :)
I contacted JD Electrics via their email contact form and I soon received a return phone call from Jim. He came to our house to quote us on the work we wanted to have done and then JD Electrics quickly responded with an itemised email detailing where our money was going. On the day, Jim arrived on time and set to work on the bizarrely wired light fixtures in our house, explaining what was going on and dragging them quickly and safely into the 21st century. He also managed to fit all of the plug sockets we wanted, making sure they were properly secured, unlike the previous ones! The thing which makes this a 5 star review instead of a 4 star one is something which happened towards the end of the job. I noticed two plug sockets which we hadn't spoken about but I wanted to turn into two double sockets. I knew Jim wouldn't be able to do this on the day but I asked him anyway. He drove out to get the necessary parts and sorted it there and then. I am very impressed with his work and thoroughness - a great piece of mind when we've just bought our first house and haven't much idea about the state of the electrics.
