I have always liked the idea of solar panels as a cleaner, sustainable form of energy. John from Ray's Electrics was very helpful from the start. I asked possibly too many questions which he politely answered, offering options I hadn't considered. Now I have a very impressive system, exceeding expectations, and could not be more pleased with it. The work he has done also looks very neat and well finished. Just wish I had found him sooner and not wasted time with other companies who quoted me for poorer or useless systems at higher prices.
John has completed fantastic work for us. His installation of our solar panel electrics system showed a level of professionalism seldom seen these days. We’ve been lucky enough to get him to complete another couple of jobs for us. His work was beyond reproach for both of them. We’d recommend John unreservedly. John has since fitted security lighting at the front and rear of our house as well as changing some mains sockets to a USB facility. He also serviced our Solar system and completed the software updates. We’d recommend John unreservedly.
John helped with the installation of our Solar Energy System that included advice on the battery we’d purchased, as well as installing a new fuse box, as our existing one was no longer compliant for the solar system. At all times John kept me informed of what he was doing and took great care in keeping everything neat & tidy. Would use his services in the future for other electrical projects.

I had a 10.4kW solar system installed by John from Ray's Electrics. He worked extremely hard and finished on time, as promised. He even went out of his way to hide the cabling that went to the fuse box despite it taking considerably more effort than the easiest route. Great service. Much appreciated.
John came to my property (on a rescue job) after the installer forgot a key component of the setup, leaving me with out a fully working battery/inverter system which I had paid thousands for. Despite receiving unwarranted grief from the cowboy installer whilst jointly at the property, he diagnosed the problem, ensured the parts were delivered to me and came back shortly after to install it all. John stayed behind to teach me the ropes about battery control app, which I am especially grateful for. I have a Huawei Luna battery 10kw and Sun2000 inverter. The service we got from John was excellent. We had 6 new sockets installed and a ring rewired after discovering it was never there! Oh and a HIVE heating thermostat installed. He was polite, thorough and made sure we were involved in any decisions that were required. Really capable and excellent service - will definitely be using again as we remodel the house.
John, who runs Ray's, did a superb job in checking our interior wiring and then installing outdoor lights. He was very clear about his pricing and took real professional pride in the finish.
