Simon Christopher Electrical LTD

We used Simon Christopher for a full rewire of our Victorian semi, and we’re very pleased with the service. The work was completed efficiently, within the agreed timeframe, and everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. There was a very minor issue that required a return visit, but it was booked in promptly and resolved the very next day with no fuss. We’re really happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism throughout. We’d highly recommend Simon Christopher to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.

Really, really happy with the electrical work that Andrew did on my new kitchen and garage conversion, pretty much did a full rewire of downstairs, fitted lights, switches and sockets, gave loads of advice and options. Added a fusebox to my garden room and connected it to the main house. New fusebox for the house, outdoor lights. Extremely reliable, hardworking and tidy. Had a couple of lads working with him too that were also great. Great guy highly recommend!

Ridiculously good service. Simon was very friendly, came over and had a look at the what needed to be done. I got a quote the next day. 2 days later Callum moved my sockets and installed a new fusebox very quickly. I got a cert, and the invoice in the end was actually slightly cheaper than the quote! 10/10 - use these guys please, honestly

Very good service thank you

Can't sing SCE's praises enough! Speedy response times, committed & knowledgeable engineers and really friendly office staff. Never had any issues with their work & feel confident every time we contact them for remedial or scheduled works!!

As usual pretty dam good. We cannot fault the service and the boys who did the work were polite, helpful and professional. Thanks for your help

Polite young men, fixed the problem in a timely manner.

Excellent service - quick efficient polite - end results exactly how I wanted - would highly recommend

Superb service I won’t hesitate to use these guys again, highly recommended

Simon and his team have done several projects for me on my house & I wouldn't use anyone else. The communication from Louise from start to finish is really good, the lads turn up when they say they will, they are smart, professional, polite & do a great job to a high standard.

Friendly and best service ever. Professional job well done

prompt and professional service at a great price - thoroughly recommend

Really great from start to finish i needed some plug sockets putting inside the wall Simon got me fitted in quickly and at a good price. Adam and Joshua were fantantic lads very poilte left the place spotless took all waste with them and even put their cups in the sink. Thanks guys you are a credit to your company.👏👏👏

Extremely professional company and electrician! We got a second opinion after moving into our house as the first person who came over was unreliable. Simon came over at the time he said he would, told us what needed doing and why, and quoted us just for the works, not extra for a safety check (which was included, whereas the other company would have charged extra). They were flexible with the days to work around us, our electrician turned up exactly on time and was friendly and efficient. He even fixed a couple of small things for us without charging. Can't recommend Simon Christopher Electrical enough. Thank you!

Brillant experience from the start to finish fitted me in very quickly was polite professional and done a amazing job cleaned up after themselves would 100% recommend

Wonderful team, very happy with service and would highly recommend 👍🏼

Professional and friendly service. Job quoted for and completed within days. Would definitely use again and would recommend.

Punctual, professional and good value. Electricians were extremely knowledgeable and tidied up. Would recommend 100%. Thanks again, Sharon (Timperley).

Full team is awesome, nothing is too much, fantastic communication, almost next day appointments, great workmanship, pleasure to deal with Louise in the office and Simon 👊

Extremely highly recommended! The team came to replace our consumer unit and pull some new cables for our kitchen renovation. Two very polite and friendly electricians came, very professional and conscientious work and explained what they were doing and explained the finished job. Hoovered up and left everything perfectly tidy. A very fair and transparent quote. Feels like we've finally found an electrical company we can trust! Will 100% use again. Thank you!

Louise (in the office) was really helpful in answering queries. We requested work at short notice but they managed to fit us in. Electricians were great, arrived on time and completed the work without fuss. Great job all round. Would be happy to recommend and use again in future.

First class service from a highly professional company. Very thorough. Solved the problem quickly and confidently. Will definitely be my first choice electricians from now on.

I cannot recommend highly enough. From Louise who took the initial call, Simon who came same day to assess the emergency and then to fixing and installing a new fuse box so everything was up to code within a matter of days. Both Simon and Louise are professional, efficient and friendly with courtesy messages about arrival times and all the work carried out cleanly and expeditiously. I won’t hesitate to use for any future electrical work need. Thank you again! Edit : I have used SCE multiple times since this review to fit various ceiling lights and a hob. No matter who comes, everyone is right on time, polite, respectful of the space and do an incredible job every time. I will continue to recommend them highly to anyone, there’s no one better!

Very professional and friendly service. Punctual with good communication. Transparent and reasonable quote, very thorough and careful workmanship and left everything perfectly neat and tidy. Would definitely use again and highly recommend to others!

Amazing Service Thank you so much for responding so fast and doing such a great job 👌🏻

The lads are just awesome. Works done efficiently. Highly recommended!

Simon and his team have done several projects for me on my house and they always turn up on time and complete a very thorough job. I wouldn’t have anybody else. Latest install was an EV charger and it was a quick turnaround.

Great service. Reasonable prices. 100% recommend

I always use Simon as my electrician since he did a great job for me when I had a new kitchen a few years ago. This time I was not disappointed and the job I requested was done quickly and efficiently. The electrician who came was polite, took his shoes off and solved my problem. Thanks Simon and your team. Gill Ross

I cannot recommend this Service highly enough. From the first call to completion, the whole process was fast, efficient, well communicated and very reasonably priced. We had an old issue with wiring; the first visiting team spotted the fault, we had a quote within an hour and we went ahead. The whole job was complete within 90 minutes and even the first days’s consultation charge was scrapped. A job very well done by a very friendly and professional team! We will be using this Company again for sure! Highly impressed!

Completed the work efficiently and cleaned up! Polite and pleasant. Very satisfied.

The response was very good and the lads quickly assessed the situation sorted the problem and advised us on what to watch out for. Excellent

Absolutely fantastic service. Simon came to look at one problem with underfloor heating. I worried about how to explain it but he immediately understood and gave great advice, not to simply solve the immediate problem but to suggest a permanent more efficient and cheaper solution. Two days later, his team sorted the big problem and two smaller problems as well. On time, clean, polite, great communication. Highly recommended. Thanks to Simon & team.

Amazing service from Simon and his workers, however I found the attitude from Louise to be quite rude and erupt . Considering she is the first port of call for all jobs I found her communication skills of a very strict headmistress who hated her job, which in return discouraged me from booking any further jobs with this company which is a shame as the work was above and beyond . Such a shame .

Brilliant service right from the start. Louise so helpful and understanding when I explained I needed a small job doing for my elderly father on a certain date and time. The electricians were punctual and really polite. They did a great job and left everything neat and tidy. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Simon Christopher Electrical have just completed several jobs for me they changed interior lights and replaced a bathroom fan their electrician also spent time checking out a problem with sockets. The electrian was very helpful their customer sevice from beginning to completion was excellent and the cost of the work was very reasonable. I will be using them again in the future.

Quick response, arrived on time, two polite and helpful electricians who did a great job. Thank you

Use Simon and his team for all our electrical needs. Super professional team and easy to deal with.

Great service and reasonably priced.

Excellent service! The electrician came out quickly and fixed the issue with our electric gates after we’d been let down by the gate technician. Professional, efficient, and got everything working again without any fuss. Would definitely use again and highly recommend to others.

A local electrician recommended Simon Christopher Electricals to me for a full house rewiring. Louse and Simon were so helpful and supportive in setting up a contract. The young team worked so hard and often into the evening to finish the contract. They also spent time having to move furniture and then sweeping up as they finished. I also was given contacts for plasterers, carpet ,fitters and joiners. I am very pleased with result so I will gladly recommend Simon Christmer Electricals to friends. Thankyou to all your team. S.Brownhill.

I’ve used Simon Christopher Electrical and team a few times now (3-4 times) for in door and outdoor electrical work, and they’ve consistently provided great service. The team is professional, friendly, and always gets the job done efficiently. They do a thorough, tidy job every time, leaving no mess behind. I highly recommend them for any electrical needs! Thanks.

Brilliant service from initial enquiry through to completion. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you

The technicians who came out to install some emergency lighting were professional and thoughtful and would use them again

Having employed Simon Christopher Electrical three times in as many months, I have to say they are one of the best companies I have ever used. First class service from initial survey to post-installation aftercare. Prompt, reliable & curtious, I'm more than happy to recommend them to my friends & family!

Thank you for saving the day👏. After my bad experience of obviously, an electrician who just made my life hell and cost me a Fortune! From the moment I spoke to lady in your shop I new job would be a good one. So efficient 👏 . Simon was full of knowledge, and gone above and beyond to put my mine at peace done fantastic job. Will be deffo recommending you to my clients.. Credit were credit due..

Superb same day service, solving and fixing our socket & lighting problem in one visit. Extremely professional and good value, will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Bathroom fan and external floodlight replaced; quotation and work carried out quick and efficiently at a very reasonable cost. Many thanks, very happy with the service!

Staff are very helpful, the job was done fast, the guy who came out was great, we received a 5 ***** service, we would highly recommend them. Thanks.

SCE replaced our security light. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. The office staff organised the appointment and invoices etc perfectly. All round an excellent service.

Arrived promptly to do the job. Excellent work. Good communication with the office to organise the job. Thank you!

Used this company before, great service both times

Superb from start to finish.

Only a small electrical job, but never the less it was all done with professionally efficiency, no mess, no fuss. Would highly recommend this company for any electrical work.

Quick and efficient service with excellent communication

They did a really good job of installing a new EV Charger, plus completely changing our fuse box to one that could support more channels and also meet new regulations. The cable channeling was neat, and all our furniture was replaced once the job was done.

Did I great job fitting a consumer unit, turned up on time . Would highly recommend 👌

Used many times Great service as always wouldn’t use anyone else. Highly recommend

Four years on and still protected! This is actually my second review for “Simon Christopher Electrical”. The first review was for the fantastic complete rewire they did for me following on from a devastating ordeal from a “cowboy” company that had “botched” up a rewire on my property. To cut a long story short Simon Christopher Electrical rescued us and restored my faith in this trade. As you know we are forever thankful to you. Now 4 yrs on. We have NOT had a single problem with the wiring! And most recently the electrical fuse box tripped due to a faulty cable (my cable) that went from the outside plug socket to our electrical vehicle thus preventing damage to the vehicle and preventing a potential fire! For this me and my family salute you Simon for taking pride, taking no short cuts and doing the job right! 4 yrs on your wiring is still perfect and continues to protect our growing family - thank you. For anyone reading this review who may be looking for a genuine electrical contractor that answers the phone, speaks to every individual with respect and does the job right with no exception I personally urge you to look nowhere else! Mr S S Bhopal ———————————————— October 2025 | Additional work carried out. You hear people say “you can’t get a proper job done these days”….. it’s generally a true statement, unless you use “Simon Dunn Electrical” services! 7 yrs later and absolutely all Simon’s work still works impeccably as the day our property was rewired by Simon and his gifted electrical magicians. We have recently had 2 sheds wired with lighting, sockets, an Ev charger and a light in our gazebo - all work carried out to the highest of standards … the work is genuinely perfect - these guys have OCD which is fantastic for the client, wiring is perfectly level and symmetrical - it’s truly beautiful. Thank you as usual. Mr & Mrs Bhopal ❤️

Had HUB garden lights installed about a year ago by them which are fantastic. My electric started to trip and i isolated it to the garden lights. Aftercare service is excellent they offered to come out same day but next day was fine and found the issue was a light full of water. Replaced light and no charge. They have also done other work over the years like replacing the main fuse box with a bigger one etc. Great service.

I ran into problems late on Friday afternoon. Louise was quick to respond to my call and talked me through all the options to potentially fix it, before arranging for an electrician to call at 4:30. Callum arrived on time, was very polite, efficient and sorted out the fault. I can't thank them enough.

Excellent service though out the whole company. No hesitation in recommending them.Roger Williams

Won’t use any other electricians - Louise is a credit to the business & super helpful . Guys who came to sort plug socket out were efficient and friendly . Good price too and a local firm . Highly recommend

Third or fourth time I have used them and they have been fantastic every time. Really simple to organise, great communication throughout and the electricians were really polite and respectful. Excellent

Very efficient service

Prompt, professional service, excellent electricians.

We have Simon Christopher electrical twice now and had great service on both occasions.

Organised and Professional I phoned to arrange an appointment, which was attended by Simon. A quotation was provided via text/portal which made things much easier from a visual and communication perspective. The electricians arrived as arranged, were great lads, got the work done, cleaned up and left. Invoice sent after works complete and paid. Great experience. Would use again.

Hi Louise, we would like to say the 2 lads that came to our house were very courteous and polite, they did a great job, and got on with the job right away, they were professional and knew what they were doing, we were very happy with them both, and from your end of things you really made us feel comfortable with things. If we need anything electrical doing in the future we will definitely call on your services , a five stars ⭐ from us both thanks for fixing our problem, many regards Phil.

Had a full house rewire carried out by Simon Christopher. Very happy with the job done. Old 1930s house and was expecting lots of plaster to have fallen off but the chasing was very neat and tidy. Simon was always available for queries and was able to pop round to check in and resolve/answer anything.

Exceptional work highly recommended .

This company fitted a new Xpelair and recessed lighting spots to my bathroom yesterday. The young man who did the job was punctual, hard-working and left the bathroom neat and tidy. I'm pleased with the result and recommend the company.

Excellent, prompt and helpful service

Great work by Josh replacing the electrical board in my flat. Fantastic aftercare from Louise and Clay!

Fantastic service, Louise was brilliant on the phone in supporting me finding the fault. An electrician came out the same day and fixed the issue - 100% recommend.

Great service

Excellent customer service - couldn’t be more friendly and helpful! Super fast fix, completed in minutes! Thank you so much, we will definitely be recommending the service and calling again for any future fixes!

We chose this service because we preferred to bring our fan in for repair rather than arrange a call-out. They were able to help us the same day, and the repair was completed right away. The team was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Excellent experience - would definitely recommend and use again!

Used Simon and team a few times for commercial and domestic always first class work 🙂

Excellent service. Only replaced a socket for us but highly satisfied. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Fast and reliable service, problem quickly identified and explained.

Really great service. Managed to fix an ongoing problem in our kitchen. I would definitely use them again!

Not the cheapest but did a first class job. Good communication, arrived bang on time. Removed old fuse box and fitted new consumer unit. Also swapped a light switch and found an issue but spent time to figure out the problem and find a fix. Recommended.

All work done to a high standard, professional throughout. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, and I felt I got value for money. Would highly recommend

We've used Simon for two jobs now, to fit a bathroom fan and a new kitchen hob (in both cases, fixing cowboy work done by the previous owners). Each time they've been responsive and helpful when we reached out, turned up on time and done a good job for a good price. Cannot recommend enough!

Third time using Simon Christopher Electrical for some more extensive work after a kitchen refurb - moving drop lights, installing new spot lights, moving sockets and installing a new feed for a new oven. Absolutely superb from start to finish. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Simon Christopher Electrical were great - Simon came to assess a few days after my call, Louise in the office provided friendly and efficient service throughout, and my job was carried out well and within a few days by James. And I love my shiny new spotlights!

Always efficient to respond, always carry out a professional job, and always at a reasonable price. Well done.

Excellent service, James rolled up bang on time 8am, immediately started the job had a friendly manner and good banter great job, i had visited the shop a few days earlier where they had welcomed me and made me feel at ease with good friendly chat, i knew i had made the right decision and was,nt dissapointed thanks to a great team.

Brilliant service In person quote Arrived on time and high level of work Both Josh & James were really great and cleared up afterwards

Very happy with the service I received. They put in 2 fans for me, one was making too much noise so they happily returned to replaced the fan with no argument. The men who came both times were polite and respectful of my property. Will definitely use the company again and would recommend to family and friends.

Fantastic service. Following our phone call, Simon came over the next day. The work was completed four days later. James and Ade were really efficient, polite and cleaned up after the work was finished. Price very fair too. Would definitely recommend to others and will use them again.

Very pleased with the service I received at very short notice when had a problem with my upstairs lighting after a bulb went and then had no lighting upstairs. Found problem and sorted. Very happy with the two electricians that came to my rescue.

Amazing!!! I needed a job doing very quickly and Louise managed to fit me in the very next morning. The guys that came to do the job were also great, really knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would recommend to anyone - great job thanks guys

Highly recommend Simon Christopher Electrical, reliable, professional and do a great job at a fair price.

We are really pleased with the work Archie and Callum carried out in our house a couple of months back. They installed light fittings indoors and outdoors, and also fitted a new plug socket. Both lads did a great job, tidied up after themselves and were really polite and well mannered. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Very professional and final bill as invoiced. Highly recommended. Will use again.

We had a circuit fault in the kitchen meaning none of our electrical items were working. After making a phone call to SCE they were able to send an very capable electrician within 2 hours who found the fault and carried out the repair. Amazing service, and an acceptable charge for the work. I highly recommend them.

Great service, helpful and friendly thanks

Friendly efficient work carried out on time and respected your property

I’ve used Simon Christopher Electrical a few times and the service and quality of workmanship is excellent. They’re great to deal with and nothing is too much bother for them. The lads turn up when they say they will, and are courteous and friendly.

I used Simon Christopher for the first time and was extremely impressed. Communication was clear and prompt, pricing was straightforward and service was very helpful and friendly. They sorted out my problem very quickly and I was very satisfied all round. Will definitely recommend them and will be using them from now on. Thank you very much

Very prompt and courteous service. Simon came to our home to carry out a survey of the work to be done, sent a quote the same day and Louise organised a convenient day and time for Simon to carry out the work. We thought they were competitively priced and did an excellent job. Thank you very much indeed.

Have used this business for a couple of jobs now, this one was to install a HIVE thermostat on my boiler. Booked in quickly, turned up on time and rewired neatly, and following a query from me set up a follow up call to explain the system operation. Carried out an additional follow up visit unprompted to check the system and do a small improvement, which was great for me as a customer.

We've just had a consumer unit fitted. Very good job by Archie. Pleasant young man and very polite. Will definitely use Simon Electrical again if we need to very quick and prompt service

Fantastic from start to finish. Trades people get a bad rep for poor communication and not turning up when they should. Nothing could be further from the truth with Simon and the team. Wish everyone could be like them, gave a quote turned up when they said they were going to turn up and Louise from the Office kept me informed at all times. I will be using them again. update 23/04/2024 Have now moved home and used Simons team again, same service as the first time fantastic and so tidy I will never use another company now thank you all.

We found Simon Christopher Electrical through local community facebook page. Visit was booked in quickly, quote and work day all done within a week. Electricians were on time, very polite and attentions to detail. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend!

A brilliant company. The lady on the phone was so helpful with the information she gave and clear. Within an hour (most other companies we called were booked up for weeks) an electrician arrived who was great at his job. Very polite, good mannered and incredibly knowledgeable. Solved a lighting problem, that 2 others couldn't, within the hour and had a spare light switch for me and even installed a light fitting in no time! Top quality company

Excellent service. Always on time, efficient and give great advice. Thank you very pleased with my garden lighting.

Aiden and Archie from Simon Christopher Electrical were brilliant today putting in new kitchen lights, new fused sockets and wall heater. On time, clean & tidy for duration of the job, polite and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended

Simon and his team fit a new fuse box for me and I recommend them highly. Communication with Simon was great from initial quote to arranging the works, and Archie and Aiden who did the work were very diligent, tidy, and completely the work quickly.

Recently had Alex and Archie in to do a 1st/2nd fix in our kitchen Can’t fault the lads or the work they did

Very professional company and staff. Andrew and the lads are amazing at their job and incredibly knowledgeable. They fitted out new electrics in our converted basement to an extremely high standard, aswell as external works.

Excellent service. Initial quote was comprehensive and reasonable. Andrew and Josh attended to carry out the works, completed everything professionally and efficiently and offered additional advice. Would definitely use again.

We’re very happy with the work that has been done. The lads were professional, very tidy as they went along with the job and explained everything in layman terms as they did the work. We would definitely recommend your company to other people, and thank you very much especially for the piece of mind having the cctv installed. Big thumbs up 👍. 😁

An excellent company. They’ve done lots of work for us over the years. Always reliable, very professional. I use Simon Christopher Electrical Ltd regularly. They are prompt, pleasant and get the job done with no fuss. Highly recommend.

Service was excellent from first contact with the office. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The electricians did a really good and cleaned up after they had finished. Would certainly recommend them.

I was delighted with the work done by your electrician, Archie. What a great guy! On Monday 15th Janaury he installed two new consumer units for my 95 yr old mother, and was professional and courteous and did a thoroughly good job, thanks Archie!

We were very pleased with the team at Simon Christopher. Very helpful, great communication. The team did an excellent job and were very friendly. Happy to recommend them.

The best- don't bother calling anyone else. I highly recommend this firm. Polite and friendly, efficient and clean. Best electricians!

Had our Consumer Unit updated by Archie today. Really knowledgable and took pride in his work. Did a great job in a few hours and left everything spotless. The components chosen are all high quality. We'd been experiencing random trips of an RCD covering six other circuits (most of the house) and one of the other RCBOs was faulty (wouldn't trip when test button pushed). Simon came out to have a look and ignoring the mess of wires found that the main switch was showing signs of scorching. He recommended an upgrade to a CU. Two days later Archie arrived to do the job. Now the CU complies with modern building regs, protects each circuit individually, has spare capacity, a surge protection device and is much more aesthetically pleasing and professional looking. Top job!

Friendly, professional service, by the 2 young men who came to do the job. Good communication from the Office - would recommend them 👍

Having an exterior flood light fitted. Electricians arrived to do the job at the exact time agreed. There was no mess when the work was completed. They returned the following day to adjust the beam's distance. I thought the cost was reasonable. The customer service throughout was excellent, both from the office and the installers.

Very impressed with the whole process. A truly professional approach. This is how firms should be run. The number's in our book for any future work.

Used several times and always reliable, polite and good communication throughout.

Fast response from the enquiry with the team coming out within 2 days. Excellent job and help to resolve the electrical issues at our property. Previously used this company over several years providing a great service each time. Book with confidence

Fantastic experience with this company. Have quoted and completed two jobs for us. We’ve dealt with a lot of tradesmen over the last few years and this is one of the best companies we’ve used. They turn up when they say they will, they communicate really well and they are very pleasant to deal with. They are also very clean and tidy.

Delighted with the workmanship and and will highly recommend you to our family and friends. You have an efficient polite and friendly team . Thank you

Great communication, arrived on time, job completed no problem and very happy. Would use again and recommended.

Excellent service from start to finnish! Quote request was actioned very promptly. The quote proved to be very competative; to supply and replace 6 "LED Lamps" in our Bathroom. The guys arrived on time; and did the job very efficently; to my satisfaction.(Date was 13/11/23)

Really professional and knew how to deal with our gate, alarm and cctv in really good speed and time. Would highly recommend.

Really good Company. I rebuilt my house and used these guys to do the electrical and security works. They are reliable, knowledgeable, professional, and above all really nice people to deal with. I am a retired professional engineer so I had high standards on what I wanted from the installation. SCE met those standards and more! Would highly recommend them .

ALWAYS very reliable, knowledgeable and professional.

Great team who have gone over and above to help our dog rescue many times because they believe in the cause. Work top notch so tidy considerate and communicative. Thanks Simon and team x

We used Simon Christopher Electrical throughout our gym set up. These guys seriously know what they are talking about, helped us with ideas to give the gym the stand out look that we wanted. The gym lighting is on point! We set ourselves a really short timescale and these guys went over and beyond to make sure we finished in time. Highly recommend!

Local legendary electrical service always save the day. Reliable and well spoken staff with matching hoodies. Couldnt have asked for more

Have used Simon & his lads on numerous occasions for electrical work at my shop (Cheshire pet supplies) could not be happier with the professionalism displayed by Simon and his staff - excellent work carried out and even tidied up after themselves. 100% deserves 5 stars ~ thank you for all your hard work

Archive fantastic job, new consumer unit neat and tidy, well done.

I've now used Simon Christopher 3 times and have always been delighted with their service. A few days ago, they assisted an elderley relative who's electric had gone off. The electrician was there within 40 minutes and 15 minutes later, their electric was back working again. What a brilliant company and I very highly recommened them.

Just wanted to say great service from quoting and having the work completed- having been let down by 2 electricians with no return phone calls so pleased to have found a company that gets back to you promptly and provide a good service. One happy mother and a relieved daughter .

Very professional outfit with all the work done to a really high standard. Don`t bother looking elsewhere.

Had my security cameras installed by Simons team. Professional, friendly and also super tidy making sure not a spec of dust was left (also took their shoes off when entering as I have new carpets without me having to ask) The job was done I’m a timely manner and also the electrician took me through the settings on my new devices (ring appliances) and ensured everything was to standard before leaving I would highly recommend SCE to anyone and will deffo be using again for all my electrical needs

First time using Simon Christopher Electricals ("SCE"). I'd bought a wired Ring video doorbell, to replace our existing wired doorbell. The Ring needs greater power than a simple doorbell, and came with its own transformer. I decided I'd get it professionally installed, but was let down by the first firm I tried to use. So I followed up on a recommendation, and contacted SCE. Simon came round to inspect, and verbally quoted £180-200. An email quote arrived an hour later, at £200 (but PLUS VAT, so £240 in total). I thought this was a lot, for what I suspected would be a relatively quick/simple job. We wanted it doing before going on holiday, so I agreed, but not before feeding back that the quote was at the top of the range verbally quoted, and asking "If the job proceeds quicker than Simon has estimated, can the final bill be adjusted to reflect that?" An electrician (and a young apprentice) duly arrived in the designated two hour window. The electrician did some of the work himself, and oversaw the apprentice doing some of it (though it was effectively a one man job). At the end of the installation the electrician offered to set everything up for me on the Ring app, but hoping to save time (and cost) I said I'd do it myself (and I did). However, the bill came through that same day, at the full £240 per the written quote. The electrician and his apprentice were on site for 45 mins, and (other than a DIN enclosure, which wouldn't cost more than a tenner) there were no materials. Would I use SCE again? Possibly. They were certainly professional and efficient throughout, so absolutely no complaints there. However, I was hoping to have found a 'go to' firm to whom I would immediately turn to for any electrical work, safe in the knowledge (from experience) that they would always charge me a ‘fair’ amount for the work undertaken. I certainly haven’t found that, as I feel like I paid a pretty substantial premium, for what was always likely to be a small/quick job. So whilst I would consider using SCE again, I would never do so without seeking an alternative quote (which is a shame).

Simon, Steve and team came to do the lighting for our newly landscaped garden. They, along with lovely Louise, were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. They were a pleasure to deal with, really responsive, took on some additions to requirements without issue and have done a great job, I'm so happy with the garden lighting.

Got Simon in to fix work that a previous electrition messed up and didn't complete. The service and quality from Simon and his team is amazing. Got all the work done with minimum stress and disruption. A bit more in price, but well worth it for the service they offer. Will be using them again.

Used these guys 3 or 4 times now, I would highly recommend them. I have had a new consumer unit fitted, an alarm fitted, outdoor sockets front and back, they even laid armoured cable to the back of my garden. Each time they come they are proffesional and polite bunch of lads, very helpful and never leave any mess. Also, Louise is the best at sorting things out when you need it :)

Excellent service wouldn't hesitate to recommend .

Prompt service and great workmanship. Very happy with the work carried out

Punctual, personable and polite, quality workmanship and everything explained in respect of new consumer board. We are extremely pleased with the result - even took away the unwanted packing for the new light fittings!

Excellent customer service all the way from making a telephone enquiry to having the work done. Polite, punctual and professional - special mention to Louise & Andrew

Great service from Simon Christopher Electrical. Parents house alarm was broken and making noise. Phoned them up and within 30 minutes, an electrician was there to sort. He was polite and courteous throughout, with no mess at the end of the job. Call out charge was advised beforehand and no other surprise charges. Excellent all round

Really pleased with the work carried out. They fitted me in quickly and were professional and helpful. Highly recommend, thank you!

Really pleased with the service and work from Simon Christopher Electrical. We have used them twice for outside lighting and are really pleased with the results. Great communication, prompt and professional. Simon Christopher listened carefully to what we were after and gave great advice. i loved that he didn't try to oversell or overnight the garden but worked with us to create the look we were after. Highly recommended

Simon Christopher Electrical was recommended to me by a friend. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for any electrical work. I had a full rewire on my house and the team did a fantastic job. Everyone on the job was polite and professional and the standard of work was excellent. Will definitely use again for any future electrical work.

A friend recommended this firm and after using them for the first time I am more than happy to recommend them to anyone. They were punctual, pleasant and polite. They obviously cared about what they were doing and about making a good job. The whole job was completed in a morning and at the end of it they even hoovered up! Thanks guys, we were really impressed.

Came recommended from a mate, no doubt the best electrician I dealt with. Arrange for some work to be done at my daughters property, top notch work and punctual. Will def return to Simon for any other electrical needs and would recommend to a friend

Simon and team have worked on our house for around 4 years now and we've been very happy with their work. Our 'go to' for anything we need doing. Definitely recommend.

From arranging the quote to finishing the job, Simon and his team provided a prompt, reliable, polite and very professional service. This is the first time I’ve used Simon and I’m already planning the next project. Thanks Simon, much appreciated.

Full garden electrical installation over 600m2. Including approx 40 spike lights, decking lights, external socket and new board installation. Minor problems resolved quickly and responsively. A second job included internal installation of 5 industrial pendant lamps. Great attention to detail and alignment.

Simon and his team installed the lighting, awning electrics and pump as part of our garden landscaping. Simon was helpful from the start, advising us on the perfect level of lighting (without over-lighting the space) and his team were efficient, polite and tidy. We're very happy with the work they've done and would definitely recommend them!

Simon and the guys did an excellent job I'm delighted and would highly recommend them . Very professional company. Simon came up with an alternative way forward when i changed my mind on what was planned at last minute which worked out brilliantly
