New Generation Electrics

Excellent job. Very polite, efficient and cleaned up after.

Excellent service with great communication . Definitely recommend Danny and NGE.

Was recommended by my work place, quick response came and replaced extractor fan in bathroom very happy with job would recommend and will use again

Danny at New Generation was outstanding.. Perfect job, will use again 👍

Our builder recommended NGE for the electrical work in an extension, and I'm so glad he did. This was a complex project which involved fitting a new consumer unit and rewiring the old part of the house, and first and second fix for the new-build. They also installed an electric car charger. I was delighted with the results. Danny is friendly, reliable, professional and knowledgeable-and crucially- his communication is excellent. Inevitably we had planned sockets and switches in the wrong place and Danny was happy to relocate them without any fuss. We also asked for "extras" we thought of as the work was underway, and removed some things from the original quote that we changed our mind on. Danny was happy to sit down at the end and agree the work that was actually carried out, and amend the cost accordingly. I have since used NGE to fit drive and outdoor lighting controlled by an astronomical timer. Danny was the only electrician from those who quoted to suggest wiring the wall lights from inside rather than putting an ugly wire up the outside of the wall so thank you for that. I would recommend New Generation Electrics without hesitation.

Great electrician- wouldn't hesitate in recommending!

Dan was great, precise and respectful. I would definitely call him again in the future.

Great service from Danny @NewGenerstionElectrics. Good communication to arrange coming to fix a wiring issue, friendly polite service. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

I highly recommend New Generation Electrics! Hard working, knowledgeable and very professional. I will be sure to use their services in the future as well as recommending them to anyone needing a professional and reliable electrician!

Just had Danny around to move an electric socket and wanted to write about what a fantastic job he did. He arrived when he said he would, talked me through what needed doing and then set to work. Once he had finished he tidied up and left the place spotless. The plug was moved to the correct spot and he even talked me through some safety tips as our house is thatched. Really nice guy and would recommend him to anybody.

Danny, firstly, thank you for your work a few months ago. No issues with that at all. During the work you did. We then found out that some wires don't have earth, which is fair enough, but you didn't mention that we could test them first to see how old these wires are and if a re-wire is actually required. I just felt taken advantage of where no further investigation was done to fully confirm that. I got someone else to do the test and didn't need to rewire my whole house. Also, I am disappointed you used a picture from a consumer unit in my garage that you didn't work on in the Tilehurst Directory. The point of this is you didn't ask to take that picture! Therefore 3 stars. Thanks.

I was really happy with the service provided by New Generation Electrics. They installed two extractor fans at my house and took great care to recommend the right solution for me and then worked hard to carry out the installation efficiently and to the highest standard. Thank you Danny and Jamie, great job.

Would like to give my personal thanks to Danny and Jamie at New Generation Electrics for completing various works at my property from fixing bodged electrics to installing new fixtures. Would highly recommend 5 *

New Generation Electrics completed all of our electrics in our new extension and kitchen. Danny went through our ideas and added some of his own, the outcome far exceeded our original plan and we are delighted with the results. They have also provided after care and completed additional work for us since, such as outside lighting including security lights and heating electrical work. We have always been delighted with the results of their work. They are highly professional and take pride in their work. Thank you and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone no matter how small or big the job is.

Danny fitted our bathroom with an extractor fan. Both Danny and his apprentice were friendly and carried out the work to a high standard. Great time keeping and communication, will definitely use them again. Thanks

Danny responded quickly to a request for a fairly simple repair to a light switch. He arrived early as agreed, did the job and gave advise on my aged electricity system. Good bloke!

We had a electric shower replaced and found the company to give extremely good service, always turned up as promised, worked quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend.

Found Danny through a recommendation on a local FB group, and was so pleased I did. It's the extras that always set one company apart from another. The extra mile that Danny went to ensure I was happy at every step. The extra communication was perfect from the start and even the extra 'could you just pop round and have a look' was not any trouble. First class all the way :-)

I'm really pleased with the work carried out by NGE. They came highly recommended, and I can understand why. Quick to respond, we were able to get the work booked in on a very reasonable timeline and the guys arrived on time as promised. Polite, friendly and patient with my lack of knowledge they guided me with experience based suggestions. I'm thrilled with the service and the quality of the work is impeccable! Huge thanks to Danny and co.

This company was over priced and unprofessional. Work was poor quality and had to be redone on several occasions to be brought up to an acceptable standard. Sockets weren't installed level, extract ducking wasn't secured.... The list goes on!

Danny did a great job fitting some new lighting. Arrived on time and was very professional. Will use again and be recommending to all friends and family without hesitation

Excellent service highly recommend!

Can honestly say the workmanship I received was nothing less than sheer perfection, have recommended on to friends and family, 5star!

Brilliant work, friendly and professional service, completed to a very high standard. Kept everything very tidy too. Will be using again.
