BS Electrical

Everything from quoting, planning to doing the actual job worked really well. They’re great to work with. Would certainly recommend. (Job was extending the electrics in our kitchen including a new spur)

BS Electrical - Highly Recommended and great communications from start to finish. Made a nice change for a trade person to follow through after so many failed "no shows" from other electricians. Ben & Phil completed my EV charger installation within 2 hours and the power was only off for 20 minutes or so. Arrived early, professional job, cleaned up after themselves and even helped with setting the unit and the App up for me. Please don't waste your time looking and getting false promises from others, BS Electrical, Right First Time, Every Time. Well Done and Thank You

Thank you to Ben and BS electrical their service is excellent. They are professional friendly and helpful and their communication is excellent.

He showed up on time, had great communication, he was polite and efficient, I would definitely call again and absolutely recommend!!

Excellent service, the two guys that came out were very professional and friendly. Casey who arranged the appointment was lovely and very helpful Would definitely recommend Thank you

I am extremely pleased with the service from BS Electrical. They responded promptly to my initial enquiry and visited my property within a few days to find out about the jobs I needed completing. Crucially, I received the quote the same day. They provided all the necessary details before the works took place. Ben and Phil arrived promptly and completed the works to a high quality and with minimal disruption. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work, explaining what they had done and advising me of potential future works which may be needed. I am highly impressed and extremely pleased with the work done by BS Electrical. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I am pleased with the work done by the team. They installed a new bathroom extractor fan quickly and efficiently, and the quality of the work was excellent. The team were professional, friendly, and respectful of my home throughout the job. The price was reasonable, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable electrician!

BS Electrical did a great job. They came out within a couple of days to price up the job and advise on what lamps to use to replace outside lighting and lighting in the garage and loft space. Then they came out a few days later and did the job quickly and neatly. We are very pleased with the lamps they recommended and fitted.

I highly recommend Ben and the team - back in May I contacted them as I wanted my house rewired but not until Sept. Ben came out promptly to look and give me a quote, and he was very patient and explained everything in a way I understood, which was really appreciated. All correspondence was easy and quick. The rewiring was completed on schedule - I was very impressed with their punctuality and professionalism, if they had any questions during the work they called me to discuss. They left my house really tidy and clean, there wasn't anywhere near the dust that I have feared! If ever I need any electrical work in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact BS Electrical. Thank you very much!

I've used BS Electrical for a range of jobs on my property in Reading and have always been impressed by the quality of the work. The customer service especially has been excellent and it's great to be recognised for my continued custom. I would happily recommend BS Electrical to any friends and family and will no doubt use them again in future.

I cannot recommend BS Electrical enough. Amazing communication before, during and after. Professional and efficient service. I have used them a number of times now for big and small jobs and I won’t use anyone else. I totally recommend them.

Really pleased with the friendly service from BS Electrical today. They turned up right on time at 8am despite there being heavy traffic, and although our electrical issued proved to be something unexpected, they were very helpful and we'll definitely use them again in the future!

Needed some thermostats to be installed in the house to replace old ones. They did it quickly and professionaly!

When does a tradesperson say they’ll be with you at 8am and actually arrive on time?? When it’s BS Electrical! Bang on time. Great job and extremely clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone needing electrical work. I would never go anywhere else for any further electrical work required. Fab!!!!

Ben and team have completed several jobs for us now and we couldn't be more pleased. They are extremely competent, friendly, efficient and professional. They arrive when they say they will and they leave everywhere clean and tidy. They have been great at providing advice where we needed it and their suggestions have given us results we are very pleased with. We have also found that Casey in the office is friendly, helpful and efficient. The business is happy to provide detailed quotations, which they also adjusted for us twice! Billing and payment is also detailed and easy. All in all, this is genuinely a brilliantly run business and I thoroughly recommend them.

Efficient and excellent job! Casey updates me with the availability and diagnose exactly how to resolve the issue with the kitchen lights under the cupboard. Ben and Phil who did an amazing job ! Efficient, respectful and an experienced engineers! Well done to your team! Amazing job!

From start to finish the team were professional, knowledgeable and attentive. I needed two light fixtures to be done and was having an issue with an outdoor light. They were knowledgeable and open from the start about what I can achieve and what may not be possible, which was brilliant as I needed that clarity. The quote was the best I’d received for the job, and managing payment and booking was done so easily. They even offered to reach out sooner if space became available earlier! The team showed up early on the day with everything they needed - incredibly tidy, clean and very friendly. Job was done even quicker than I anticipated and by the time they’d left, you’d never have known they’d done some work. I’ll be recommending you to all. Thank you!

BS Electrical called on the day to advise they were on their way. They removing/disconnecting all live wiring from an old shed, fitted a new power socket and a new LED pendant light. All jobs were done quickly and efficiently. The workmen were tidy, friendly and experts in their field. From booking to the appointment and the jobs completed, we are indeed very happy and very satisfied customers. We will be calling BS Electrical for any future electrical jobs - thank you to the team.

BS Electrical recently fitted a new consumer unit and car charging point for us. Quick quote, good price, great installation electricians, and a very tidy job. Highly recommended.

As first time buyers only a year into owning this property, we have never had any major works done to our house before. This comes with a lot of nervousness in advance of it being done but following a single conversation with BS Electrical, that anxiety is lifted. Willing to consult with us and explain what was required, what the work entailed, what we needed to do ahead of time etc made the whole job feel a lot more manageable and gave us peace of mind to proceed. They are reliable, friendly, informative (dumbing things down so even I could follow), very punctual and incredibly helpful. They made the entire process painless and were willing to answer any question we had whilst delivering the job quicker than expected but dropping none of the quality of what was needed. Fantastic throughout.

I have been using Ben and the team at BS Electrical for over two years now for all my electrical work and audio visual installations. The team and the quality of work is fantastic, always going above and beyond to help. Awesome company that I highly recommend.

Booking process was super easy and really friendly contact. The electricians were fantastic and arrived perfectly on time. They were both really friendly and efficient! Their work was incredibly well finished and they both left the area really clean and tody! Would highly recommend.

Ben and Phil did a fantastic job on our full house rewire and the customer service from Casey was brilliant, I would highly recommend these guys for any job big or small!

Needed a ceiling light fitted . They was excellent. Very quick at replying back . I've booked them again next month I give them 10 out of 10

Made an enquiry with BS Electrical on a Sunday at 9pm, I got an instant reply and booked me in for an outdoor socket installation for a few weeks time. Next day I get a phone call early morning, they had time to fit me in and came and installed my socket the same day at 11.30am. Incredibly quick service, 2 guys came to fit one socket outside and it was a professional job. Price was affordable. Will definitely use again. Recommended to friends and family already.

Very good service, very good communication and very punctual. The guys that came out to do the work were very pleasant and helpful, willing to answer questions and give advice. Would use again!

Great company. Managed to do a fantastic job in a testing timeframe. From start to finish everything was exactly as they said it would be. Couldn’t recommend enough

I've been using BS Electrical for the best part of a year now, and I cannot sing their praises enough. Ben has re-wired a bathroom, replaced a consumer unit, added a shed fuse board with armoured cable, and just finished re-wiring our kitchen. Every time BS Electrical have visited; they've called ahead to advise when they'll arrive, explained everything they're doing and left the job site in immaculate condition. Quotes have always arrived quickly and are more than reasonable, with broken down costings. Casey in the office is incredible; she always does her best to organise things in a matter that suits you and replies incredibly quickly. I'll keep using BS Electrical in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Reliable! Enquries are replied to. The Electricians are competant, efficient and friendly, which is what you want when people are coming into your own home. You know where you are with both pricing by the hour for replacements and pricing by quotation for installations. A pleasant experience.

BS Electrical have rewired both my own home in 2019 & a rental property in 2022 for me. In both cases they were well organised, always turn up on time & leaving the place clean & tidy. They are happy to discuss options & look for cost effective solutions. That is why I still call them back today when I need work done.

Casey was very polite when we booked the appointment .Icwas given the exact date and time when the electrician would visit and received a call prior to visit .Phil was superb. He explained the problem and what the solution was with the electrical sockets and wiring.

A professional and friendly pair of electricians who were considerate, tidy and did a great job. They were very careful especially being a new build with oddly placed joists, were able to complete the job well and use their wealth of experience to complete it quickly. Very approachable and friendly and a pleasure to have in the home.

The guys put an outside light in my garden. I’m very happy with the job they did. Very reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.

I am very pleased with the minor electrical work at the property. Ring doorbell installed professionally and the electricians were very helpful to get the device setup and working.

Excellent service from start to the end , Casey was very polite and quick in replying to my questions. The guys who came was very professional and they where tidy and promptly. I even came back as a fault and solve the issue. Highly recommended this company with your electrical work. Top notch Ginger

Very professional and friendly service. I have used BS Electrical at least four times at both my house and my son's property. On every occasion they have provided an excellent and reliable service. They are easy to contact and are quick in providing an estimate for the work. Always good value. On every occasion they have turned up on time and carried out the work to a high standard leaving the property clean and tidy. Ben and Philip are very friendly and always willing to give good advice. I rate this company extremely highly and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Replacing pump for hot tub - BS Electrical were prompt, very polite and professional and did an excellent job.

Highly recommend BS Electrical. Very professional and all round top guys 👍🏼

Faultless from initial quote to finishing the work!

We have just used BS Electrical to update the wiring in our newly purchased house, from new fuse board, to installing new lights outside, garage fuse board, shed extension etc. They have been outstanding! Casey in the office is always on hand for any and all questions, and very prompt, no detail or question was too daft or too small. We had Ben, Phil and Ryan they were clean, tidy, professional, friendly, respectful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they just got on with what they needed to do. Having workmen in the house when you work from home can be hard work, but honestly you hardly noticed them. The price was in the middle of all the quotes we got, but the attention to detail was second to none! And you 100% got value for money. I would wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. BS Electrical will be our only call for electrics from now onwards - thank you very much.

I have had B.S electrical out a few times from outside lights to making my house safe after B&Q HOMEFIT left the whole house in a dangerous position. If it wasn't for Ben and Phil saving me and my wife, hate to think what could of happened. I would only trust them with in the future. They are so professional and the excellent quality of the workmanship speaks for itself I would give them higher star rating if I could thank you so much couldn't recommend them more!!!

We had a major burst pipe in the property which took out the main fuse box and damaged lighting. We called them for an emergency call out and they were with us within a few hours, going well above and beyond their services to help us with in 24 hours of losing all power and water. The professional service, workmanship and compassion the company and staff gave us was second to none. We will be using them for future work. Your greatest thanks to such a wonderful team at BS Electrical.

Very impressed. Kept me up to date with when they was coming by calling 5 mins before they was due out. Workmanship outstanding. Listened to what I wanted and where. Very accommodating. Reasonably priced. Can't thank them enough. Highly reccomend.

Highly recommend BS electrical! I had a issue with my outside summer house electrics used for a buisness and Ben was able to get to me the same day and get the problem fixed 😁 super helpful and professional would definitely use again. Thank you

Had LED downlights installed in 3 rooms + hallway, understands light added and old fixtures removed. Work completed to a very high standard and efficienctly. Will be using again for any other electrical needs I have in the future.

Awesome service from BS electrical. Socket was replaced, spotlights were installed. Ben was great, my house was kept tidy, quotes were provided quickly, multiple options for payment. Really good and reliable company.

First time using BS Electrical & I could not rate the team highly enough. Casey’s support & communication has been brilliant from the original enquiry to organising the work at hand. Ben & his colleague arrived before time to install a Ring Door Bell & some external lights with excellent communication & workmanship throughout. Will certainly be using BS Electrical on any future electrical projects.

I recently wanted to hardwire a ring doorbell and contacted nearly 10 electricians around Reading. Some of them did not respond back and some of them were either too expensive or asked unnecessary questions. Ben was the only person to respond quite quickly. He visited my house, discussed about the job and then a formal quote was sent via email. The installation was then done to a very high standard the following week. He even fixed my outdoor light issue for free. I have since then used BS electrical for quite a few other jobs and everything has been very smooth. All the bookings and payments are managed very professionally by Casey who is a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend BS electrical based on my experience so far.

I’d been recommended BS Electrical by a neighbour, and I wasn’t disappointed. I received a very swift response to my email enquiry from the BS office. A quote was provided within the day, as promised. Ben and his colleague were punctual, polite, tidy and completed a list of electrical jobs very efficiently. I was very impressed. Thank you.

Second time I've used BS Electrical. Professional, friendly, and dedicated. They did a super job with our lighting and installing our new doorbell and toothbrush wall charger. Absolutely love the Tiffany ceiling light they installed for us.

Have used Ben and his team a few times now and he's always great. The team are always professional, on time and efficient. Can't rate them enough. Will always continue to use thess guys!

Great company to deal with and this is the 4th time we have used them. Always reply to enquiry in a timely manner, booked a date and contacted me before arriving. No stress. On the job, they were great, fitting downlights in 3 rooms, dimmer switches and removing old pendent lights. Finished job looks great and exactly what we wanted. Cleaned up any mess and would highly recommend

Everyone and anyone should use BS Electrical. First of all Casey was a delight - solving all the problems you may have and leads with a strong operational platform to ensure that the work can be completed with accurate and fair quotation. Ben and Phil are superstars - gave me courtesy call to let me know when they were arriving - not late at all. Talked me through the whole process and where issues arose worked together with me to a recitfiable and amicable solution - truly professional and overall very easy and nice to work with. Offered advice after the fitting RING doorbells and floodlight (knowledgable and shared own experience on what to potentially look out for etc.). If you are having anything electrical done - USE BS ELECTRICAL - I KNOW I WILL BE :)

Really impressed with their efficient processes, prompt follow up and reliability. They fixed the most urgent item (no light in a toilet) on the same day we agreed on the quote; then scheduled a later date for the rest of the work. On the day, they turned up on the dot and went about their business efficiently and politely. Would use them again and recommend to others.

We used BS Electrical for internal electrics in a Garden Building. We have been absolutely delighted with the service, they have provided a first class service from initial quotation to completion of works. Thank you to Casey for for always responding quickly with quotes and queries and to Ben and Phil for the smooth completion of the job. I can thoroughly recommend BS Electrical.

First of all, I did not write this review because BS Electtrician asked me to do so- I simply would like to recommnd their service. I am rally glad I have choosen BS electrician for an EICR work. Ben and team did a fantatic job, they are always on time, polite, knowledgable and tidy. Their receiption Cassey is always answer your questions quickly. I highly recommend their service and will definately use them again. Thanks!

Ben is always very helpful and professional. Made the effort to understand what I wanted, and suggested the best solution. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend BS Electricians enough. Ben came to PAT test some of our equipment on the 6th February 2020. He arrived on time and even contacted me prior to say he was on his way (just in case I had popped out). He was very friendly and polite and completed the job swiftly and professionally providing a PDF certificate of the PAT test later that evening. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of an electrician.

Booked in to install my new ring doorbell v2. It runs on battery but I prefer hardwired or the notifications are laggy. Called for a quote, I've used them before, they accept bank transfer which is handy. Cabling hidden through to the house, cleaned up after himself, even gave my settings the once over to make sure it was working properly. Once I was booked in I didn't need to chase them or confirm anything, they always turn up when they say they will. Which is handy if you've booked the day off work. Next time I wont bother and leave them to it, trustworthy, honest guys.

Amazing team - very very responsive. Casey helps you book the appointments so swiftly to your needs and the team is so punctual to arrive and fit. Did a job of 6-7 ceiling lights, garden sensor lights, 3 extra sockets and TV mounting in under 3 hours - and to the quote. They also have great suggestions to make, should you need to ask. Definitely recommended.

I cannot recommend BS electrical highly enough. I had a security camera/light fitted. Prompt and friendly service. Ben was conscious not to let the brick dust into the house. He even helped me connect to the app once installed and gave recommendations for accompanying products. I can't thank them enough

Brilliant service from these guys, called up in the monday with a request. I explained needed it done asap as for a house sale and they rearranged some jobs for us and attended the following day. Thanks again :)

They did a brilliant job. Highly professional, knowledgeable & friendly.

Ben and Phil came to fix my faulty living room light and got it done within 20 minutes - replaced the switch and everything was working again! Was very professional and gave out lots of good advice, considering using them again to install a new light fitting, highly recommended! :)

This company and all their staff I dealt with are polite, professional, punctual and very helpful from start to finish.Would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone that requires an electrician.

Great service when I needed some new sockets added to home office. Tidy and friendly, will use again.

We've used Ben for a number of small and large electrical projects and are always impressed by his professional approach & willingness to help with advice and guidance. Highly recommended!

Ben is the single best electrician I've ever had. I won't even consider using anyone else. He gets jobs done that I consider extremely difficult or impossible. His rates are very competitive and his service is always with a smile. Ben is as honest and nice and professional as they come. A+++++
