What a great installation. The guys were here on time and just got cracking; I gave them a hand lifting some floorboards to run the cables to the meter all the way from the back garden and they did a really neat job of the wiring and fuse box. Good communication from everyone involved. Meanwhile, the solar panels were carefully installed on the roof of my garden room. I had some existing panels on the main roof of the house and their output is now combined with the new system, unfortunately meaning I have a small, redundant GivEnergy battery but that is not a problem. The Segen battery and inverter were all connected the following day and all the packaging magically disappeared! I was given a run-through on the app to get me started so I can now see exactly what’s happening and learn to make the most of the system. Thanks to the whole team.

After getting quotes from a few solar suppliers it was obvious from the first visit of Paul that Let were the most efficient company. The attention to detail during his visit carried through to dealing with the office and accepting the quote. Daisy in the office co-ordinated the whole fitting process. The guys turned up at the time advised and despite the high temperatures worked hard all day and fitted 25 panels plus a battery and inverter, all in the one day. The fitting looks good and was very professionally carried out. Once finished they cleared up and there was no mess left. They were a great team working well together. Kieran made all the electrical connections and Marley advised on what had been done and the basic working of our system. When they all left we felt we had had an mazing job done. LET Electrical and Renewables installed my solar panel system in June 2026. They installed two solar arrays on my house roof and extension roof, a battery for storage, and inverter and a gateway so I can run off grid for energy independence. I selected LET for a number of reasons. They were a local established electrical business. They did not use sub contractors (except for scaffolding)They were a trusted partner of Octopus energy. They attended the house to give a quote and suggested the best logistical setup for my house of the 4 companies that gave me a quote. They were also the best value quote. The quality of work they carried out was of the highest standard. The disruption was minimal, they tidied up after, and they admitted they had cracked a tile on completion and returned the following day to replace it. They were hard working, honest and professional and the system works beautifully. I can not recommend them highly enough.
Lewis and the LET team have been fantastic from start to finish. Lewis visited us in February to discuss our requirements and to run a site survey using his drone. We wanted to save money by charging a battery at a night-time a cheap rate, top the battery up via solar, export to the grid, and be protected from the regular power cuts our street experiences. Lewis came back with a comprehensive and competitively priced solution. The system was installed over two days in March. His team installed 20 solar panels, 2 SigEnergy batteries, a SigEnergy inverter and a SigEnergy gateway. The LET team were extremely flexible, and the work was done to a very high standard. We are seeing real savings, and the street has experienced several power cuts and we didn’t even notice. The system has behaved flawlessly. Other family members are now interested in having a similar solution installed. Everyone I’ve interacted with have been lovely people and I can absolutely recommend LET.
From the very first interaction, the experience was outstanding. We started with a highly informative planning meeting with Lewis, whose deep knowledge and expertise made designing our system incredibly straightforward. When it came to the actual installation, the team was brilliant. Before lifting a single tool, they walked us through the entire plan—agreeing exactly where the batteries and charger would go, explaining the cable routing, and making sure we were completely happy with the layout. They were professional, exceptionally polite, and left the place spotless. Once the install was complete, they took the time to patiently run through how the whole system works so we felt confident using it. Just discovered that a gateway to ensure continuity of supply in the event of a power outage wasn’t installed when we had our batteries fitted in November 2025. Lewis was very apologetic and was quickly on the case. Should be installed in a couple of weeks.

Despite working through two of the hottest days of the year, the installation team worked incredibly hard to complete everything on schedule and to an exceptionally high standard. TLDR / BLUF: Excellent Service, Great Price all from a Knowledgeable and engaging team. Would recommend. At our initial quote from Lewis was not only a brilliant communicator but understood the tech fantastically unlike some other companies. He drone mapped the roof, the only company from 7 who did this and maximised the quantity of panels we could fit achieving 11 where most others where between 4 and 9. After accepting the quote and formalising the agreement, Daisy in the office seamlessly arranged the scaffolding from All systems Scaffolding Ltd who arrived a few weeks later and efficiently created access. The scaffolders were typical, loud and everything you’d expect from scaffs, regardless they were efficient and worked quickly despite the heat. A week or so later the LET team arrived for the install. The first day was spent mostly cabling and getting the Equipment Installed with most of the roof brackets and rails. The second day was spent finishing the cables, panelling and final commissioning. The LET team where on site for a total of 8h day 1 and 9h day 2 all in over 30-degree heat, hats off, was hard work. After the install was finished, we have had no issues, and the system is up and running effectively. A week after install the scaffolding came down with no issues. Overall, a fantastic service with useful and accessible information.

Communication from Lewis & Daisy was excellent from the start to finish of the project. Paul’s survey was completed & his advice helped to plan a system tailored to our needs. Marley and his team arrived promptly on the installation day to briefed us on the plan for completion whilst the team got underway, the installation was completed in a single day professionally and tidy. We are now generating our electricity for our current daily needs even with the dull wet weather, now looking forward to completing the application to export power back to the grid for some financial return. I chose LET as, from the start, they looked carefully at my requirements and gave me written quotes for 3 scenarios we had discussed. All the other firms were not keen to do an on site visit at the outset. On the LET initial visit, after we talked about what they could offer, Paul Youngman was up in my attic and out on my roof through the Velux window and took all the measurements needed to give me the quotes. He also took pictures of the house, the roof, the consumer unit and access for scaffolding. There was no pressure at any stage to make a decision. Having accepted one of the quotes, the DNO application was submitted and approved quickly which allowed installation to be set up. Dates were agreed for the work to be done. My wife and I went off on holiday just before the work was due. On our return, we found the scaffolding had been erected 4 days early and on the wrong side of the house! Daisy sorted this problem out and the following Tuesday the scaffolders returned. The same day (a day earlier than we had set) the LET team arrived and cracked on with the roof work. They did phone me earlier that morning to say they would be coming which was fine. The next day Marley (the electrician) arrived together with all the panels and electrical equipment. The wrong size of inverter was sent and he was advised there was a delay of a few weeks to get another one of the same brand. Marley came up with a solution and I chose another inverted with a larger battery at no extra cost. The new kit arrived later in the morning. Early in the afternoon the electricity was turned off for connection work to be done. When it was switched back on, Marley found there was an elecrical fault somewhere in the house. He spent several hours testing and tracing the fault. He said this was not unusual and his hard work eventually traced and repaired the fault. I should add I have 12 or so circuits connected to the consumer unit. 10 out of 10 for Marley. Once the system was up and running, Marley set up my app connection and explained how everything worked before he left. Post installation, all the paperwork/video links followed with a good guide and support manual arriving promptly which gave me a outline of how and when the system would start earning. I was very happy with the work and look forward to their ongoing support which is an added bonus.

We have wanted to install solar and a battery pack for quite a long time. We looked at the market widely for a good installer and received quite a few quotes, but we were not happy with the quotes or the advice received. We also considered Costco Solar because of their guarantee and got quotes from them too, but the installer was not giving enough information. We put the project on hold, and then we came across Lewis at LET Electrical Ltd through one of his previous customers. We met Lewis and didn't think twice — we instructed him to install our solar and battery package straight away. I didn't write this review immediately. Installed in march, basically removed my electricity bill during spring/summer! Price was in the middle but the service was absolutely outstanding.
I’ve just had LET Electricals install a 16kW solar system with 45kW/hr Sigenergy battery and gateway. The team was superb from start to finish. I found LET Electrical by chance on Facebook, I submitted an interest form and Lewis contacted me very quickly. We arranged an onsite visit as the installation was going to be complex as it was a 3 roof installation. Following the site visit the options were presented in an easy to understand format and Lewis was happy to jump on a zoom call to discuss the options The DNO process was seamless and we arranged the installation for week commencing 11th May for a 3 day installation. The installation team arrived on time and all I can say is that they were exemplary in every respect. They were punctual, polite, careful with my property and belongings. If there were options on how items could be installed or cabling run, they always consulted me on my preference and when they left they tidied everything up and it was at least as tidy when they left as when they arrived, if not tidier. They also completed the install in 2 days. The price was significantly better than other offers I had received for a superior system. I would give them 7 stars if that was an option

Superb! A fantastic installation, tidy, fuss free, good value and excellent customer service. During the planning stage we were updated constantly to help us know what was happening, all staff involved were courteous and helpful. Information was explained, never rushed and there was time taken in person to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The install was swift, with nearly no disruption to our home. The attention to detail on wiring, presentation and care taken to remove all mess was outstanding. I honestly believe this company is a standout installer and if I could I’d give them 6 stars.

After getting quotes from many companies for adding batteries to my existing solar system I went with LET. I found the explanations from Lewis clear and able to answer all my questions with no hard sell. Once I’d made the decision the communication was excellent, and on the day Marley and Mark did a fantastic job with installation, neat and tidy, exactly as described. *Review of LET Renewables Solar installation.* The process was a very slick operation from the start to the completion of the installation. It was only a few weeks between contacting LET Renewables for the first time to having the solar and battery setup finished. I was impressed with the information and videos by LET shown online which explained the advantages and benefits of solar installations. Initially, Lewis replied to the query and then, with no pressure, offered to come and do a no-obligation, no-cost, drone survey and roof inspection and then come up with some proposals, dependant on our aims. On the survey day Lewis arrived and we discussed some ideas before he got the drone up and checked the roof. We then sat down for a discussion about options and we came up with several proposals, at a number of price points, and with various types of hardware. These were provided as browsable proposals, showing the expected returns of each idea. Lewis left these with us to consider whether we wanted to proceed. In the next few days Lewis followed up to make sure we had everything we needed, but didn’t pressure or intrude on our thoughts. We were undecided whether to install panels on just the west side or both east and west. Eventually Lewis offered (for a small fee) to submit plans for the grid DNO application to find out how much we would be allowed to export to the grid. This was expected to take several weeks, but we had a reply a couple of days later with permission to export what we required for panels on both sides of the roof, so decided to go ahead with the full installation. The equipment was ordered and the installation date booked with the scaffolding being erected the day before and dismantled a week later. The installation of the 32 panels, shared between the two sides of the roof, inverter, batteries, and home backup were all completed in 2 days. We also had a car charger installed at the same time. The 3 guys who completed this were friendly, tidy, knowledgeable and pleasant and communicated at each step of the way. Finally, all the components were tested and handed over with a clear explanation of how it all works. The app setup was also done and demonstrated. They worked hard and finished all the work in super-quick (but not hurried) time, ensuring everything was left neat and tidy. They even replaced some dodgy tiles as part of the service. All the appointments were on time, well communicated and a pleasant experience. Their knowledge, professionalism and expertise were great. We’ve eagerly monitored the operation of the system, and haven’t had to import any power from the grid for several days, even in February. We look forward to getting the final documentation so we can apply to our energy provider for the export tariff. Overall, this has been a great experience and we are delighted we chose LET Renewables for our installation and would highly recommend them.

My wife and I had been debating for several months about installing a solar system to our bungalow, due to regular power outages where we live and to reduce the cost of our energy bills. We approached four companies to qoute based on there feedback and location. We Discovered Lewis through a strong recommendation from friends which proved to be an excellent decision. After researching his background and seeing his outstanding customer feedback ratings, we felt confident asking Lewis for an initial consultation. Out of all the companies that quoted, only Lewis checked the power input to our property. Measured the external size of the building. Flew a drone over the roof for a full inspection and checked the roof loft internally. Non of the other companies did this. After receiving a flawless presentation which exceeded our expectations, Lewis took time to understand our specific usage requirements and preferences before providing a tailored quote option and a 10-minute explanation video that he created, specifically addressing our situation and needs. We received several videos advising the guarantee periods and specifications of the panels, battery, inverter and gateway which proved very useful, plus other videos of what to do after installation. His team maintained excellent communication throughout the process. On installation day, the professionalism was remarkable. The team worked in very cold frosty conditions and provided regular arrival updates and demonstrated exceptional expertise while remaining consultative throughout the process. Having run my own small business I wanted to support a local installer however this is fraught with difficulties as the solar industry is yet another Wild West (ie Double Glazing). On meeting Lewis, he was able to answer all of my questions, and correct me on a number of issues, which gave me great confidence. His young team of installers were courteous, thoughtful, helpful, and took time out to answer my questions although they were working against a tight schedule. They did not sacrifice quality materials and presentation and did small extras which are not part of the contract. The quotation for the installation was not the cheapest I had received by far However, you get what you pay for, as it was extremely good value for money, bearing in mind the quality installation. I would be happy to showcase my installation to any prospective Let Electrical customer.

A former colleague suggested LET when I started looking into a Solar PV and hime battery system. I approached them and they have been nothing but professional. I have described the experience of looking for Solar systems as like being circled by sharks - it's akin to buying double glazing 30 years ago! LET were very much the exception to that experience - information aplenty, but no pressure. They gave me a sensible solution to my wants and needs, with sound advice and tailored a system. to my requirements, rather than what they wanted to sell. All of the team have been pleasant, professional and clearly knowledgeable about the products and the way to use them. They turned up when they said they would, acted respectfully and decently, utilised up with me asking lots of questions and watching their work (Sorry guys, but I am interested!) and completed the job in good time, despite some pretty horrible weather at the time. I have no hesitation in recommending LET - their whole team were great and I love the new installation.
Lewis and the team have done a first class job. Despite only wanting an outside double socket fitted we now have Solar installed with a battery, an EV charger and of course our Double Socket. Lewis explained how everything worked very clearly and his quote was comprehensive and at a good price. Lewis was always available to answer queries. The installation itself was seamless with scaffolding erected quickly with the minimum of fuss. The team then worked well to install all the kit needed in less than 2 days. We received a run down of how to use the system and they did a good job of cleaning up after their work. Impressive from start to finish. During Lewis' visit to us he looked at our energy usage and carried out a roof survey. He then recommended 11 roof panels (7 on our dormer bungalow and 4 on the garage) and 15kW of battery storage. At no point did he pressure us but based on his detailed explanation of the options we decided to go ahead. Daisy in the office handled all the authorisations needed. On installation day Marley, Kieron and Mark turned up and started to fit the panels. At this point they realised we could fit a further panel on the bungalow roof, which we went ahead with. The three of them worked like trojans and refused to give up despite encountering difficulties routing the cables through our eaves, saying they did not want the installation looking messy. It's only been a few days but out of the 43kWh we have used only 0.5kWh has been from the grid.

I requested the removal of an integrated extractor fan & installation of new. They arrived earlier than the expected time but rang first to check this was ok. Removal & installation went smoothly. what a great company made it easy to under stand how it all works came when they said was 4 thousand less then any other company and gave me more the fitting was done in one long day looks great in the first 3 days it cost me 60 pence to run all thee electrics in the bungalow and left the place spotless i cannot praise this company enough

I was kept updated at all times and Kieran and Marley worked long hours ensuring the work was done to a high spec and as speedily as possible. The scaffolders employed were also superb, A1. Everyone was super-polite and respectful. I'm looking forward to sorting out the final paperwork and going on grid with my mini supply! Not overly thrilled. Recently called them to come and do a few jobs around the house, including installing new spotlights which would involve drilling into a wall. I had the new lights and the new switch. I explained all this on the phone and was told along with the other jobs, the best thing to do was charge by the hour. When they got here they looked at the the lights, ummed and arred for a while then said they'd have to send me a quote. The other jobs were getting an outdoor plug working...which had just been switched off somewhere and replacing an outdoor door light which I also supplied. They also spent 15 minutes seeing if they could find why a fuse couldn't stay on which I asked them to do. They didn't find why. So in the end I was charged £168 to change a door light and flip a socket switch.

We had Lewis come to our house to do a quote for a full solar installation , He arrived on time and was extremally informative and not pushy in any way unlike other companies we have had in for quotes. Lewis explained everything in a way that we could understand without trying to bamboozle us with technical jargon. We asked Lewis to come back a week later to have another chat about some changes we would like to make from the original quote to which Lewis was more than happy to come back and discuss. There was no question of who we were going to use for our installation due to Lewis's professional and polite manor we chose him and the installation was due to be done within two weeks. On the day of installation Lewis and his team arrived on time and started to do what they needed to do ( in the poring rain) . The work should have taken two days to do but they decided to stay on and get it all done in one day. The work that was carried out was all done to a very high standard with the minimal of fuss or disruption. To finish up we must say that we were a bit dubious about using a small company to do the work But we are so glad we chose Lewis to do it. If you consider a loan to install your solar panels avoid this Company . They don t care you have to pay high interest for 5 years they just cancel the work . Even worst , if you try to find another Company who will charge you more you can t take another loan as you already took one and you end up paying for 5 years interest doing nothing with money.This is my case. .Sometimes is very important to behave professional . I don t speak about competence I speak just about attitude to people. They can behave very well - like helping with an EV charger but when it goes to assume responsibility for the work they prefer to cancel the work .I sent a check list for fire safety to be filled in , for solar panels, after this email the job was cancelled . I'm sorry Lewis , I had to write this review , you left me with 2 loans high interest that is not acceptable . People has to think twice . I will survive but may be other people will struggle in my situation . You have to take into consideration the big picture not just your own interest when you run a business . I had Lewis come in to quote on the supply and installation of an Ohme Home Pro charger. He was one of several companies that quoted. Lewis was by far and away the most comprehensive and professional in his approach and service. Every element was comprehensively explained and the correct advice given. Payment and installation dates were a breeze, and the team arrived to install on the day at the expected hour. Installation was done professionally, to a high standard and the system tested and commissioned before they left. All mess was tidied up and I received my compliance certificate via email for the additional circuit that had to be installed. I would highly recommend Lewis and his team.

LET Electrical Services were selected as being local to us and being independent. They attended to our enquiry and quotation in a timely manner. All our queries were dealt with informatively, before and during the job. Also assistance given with finding a plasterer for associated work. The job was done on the agreed date and to spec as per quotation. On the day the team were respectful, did a good job and cleaned/tidied up when finished. I recently had LET Electrical Services to replace two ceiling light fittings and a light switch in garage. Arranging an appointment was straight forward, I was given a quotation of how much it would be to have the work done before confirming the appointment and upon agreement the appointment was made straight away. I received an email confirming all details we had made. The day before the appointment I received a telephone call from the company’s admin clerk confirming again their attendance the next day. On the appointment day I received a message informing me that the electrician was on his way and he arrived at the time we had agreed. Lewis the electrician carried out the work efficiently and professionally and had total respect for my property leaving the area he had worked in a clean state. A fantastic and thorough service all around. Above and beyond. We had Lewis from LET quote to fix an extractor fan, fix a flickering light, install a vanity light and replace the fusebox. We were pleased with the quote and agreed on a date for the work. We were kept informed of the engineers' (Marley and Kieran) arrival time (which was spot on) and they proceeded with the work. Marley did the fan, vanity light and flickering light. Before replacing the fusebox Kieran did a thorough check of the existing installation and found several quite major issues (including a lack of earthing in many of the lights, no earth bonding to the water pipes, loose wires in some of the switches), all of which were fixed. The installation went smoothly, apart from a cut pipe that he found above the fusebox which leaked when it was moved, which he also fixed. None of the remedial work was charged for above the original quote. I cannot recommend LET highly enough

LET Electrical installed the new & updated wiring and switches as part of the installation of a new electric boiler and water heater. This involves complicated and awkward wiring through false ceiling space. The two engineers were prompt, polite and very professional. There work was excellent and very clean and tidy. Their price was competitive and their admin follow up & invoicing efficient. I would recommend them and certainly use them again.

Lewis did a great job installing our new oven, and he and Nathan have been very helpful when the new appliance proved to be defective. It was also very useful to be advised of an exact time of arrival using a tracking app. Would highly recommend LET Electrical Services and would definitely use them again in the future.
Lewis came and restored my power after what appeared to be a power cut. He did an excellent job. I heard sparking from my fuse box after I had lost all power. I phoned him after finding his number in my local magazine and he treated my fault as an emergency call out and arrived at the time stated. He found the fault straight away as the fuse box had started to melt. He promptly fixed it to restore power, His work as very tidy and he was very polite. He was a great help at a time of crisis and I would highly recommend him to others. Lewis and his team returned to fit a new fuse box. They renewed all input cables along with the new fuse box. They did an excellent job leaving absolutely no mess whatsoever. He forwarded me the appropriate certificates the following day on completion of the job. He turned up exactly when he said he would and even sent me notification of his arrival times.

Lewis and team were excellent. We got them to install a new ceiling light/fan fixture in the bedroom after the original had broken. We had a lighting power loss due to a water leak from above us. We called LET and they fitted in an emergency visit which fixed the immediate problem, and returned after the area was dry to replace the toilet fan (also damaged by the leak). It’s not possible to state how satisfied we are in stars alone. As getting a quality electrical contractor at very short notice and knowing they will give good advice and repairs is above 5 stars!

We had a problem with a Panel that controls a swimming pool pump. I had used LET before and decided to have a word with Lewis before going down the road of a new panel. Lewis replaced a relay item within the panel and all is now well. I don’t normally review but had to for Lewis at LET Electrical Services. Lewis responded to an urgent need after another electrician let us down, he came to us on a Saturday and worked all day (10 hours) to do what we needed, even cleaned up after the 10 hours and was so pleasant and thorough, very accommodating and listened to exactly what and where I wanted everything wiring in and location wise, nothing too much for him. Pricing was very reasonable considering he new our urgent need. An absolute credit to his profession and sent all the relevant certificates the next day. Had Lewis back 2 weeks later to put an outside plug socket in as we knew he would do a good job and wouldn’t rip us off. Would highly recommend and will always use LET for anything we need in the future and happy to pass on his details to friends and family.
