I cannot recommend MAP Electrical highly enough. From the initial quote to the final completion, the communication was superb. The electricians arrived on time, when delayed it was always communicated ahead of time, were incredibly polite and the quality of work was first-class. Thank you for the brilliant work! It was so lovely to have a tradesman provide so much background information and be so genuinely friendly and polite! Amrik completed the job to a high standard, cleaned up any mess and really provided some giggles! There was no pressure to provide payment immediately or be pushed into any other services but he still took the time to answer my questions about other future jobs. Initial communication was great and Amrik gave me a call 30mins before his arrival so really have no complaints! Will definitely use again :)

We had heaters, an electric mirror cabinet and a new fuse box installed over three days. The jobs were all done to an exceptionally high standard, and everything was comprehensively explained throughout the entire process. Great job from Amrik. We needed a new light fitting/cabling from scratch on an empty wall. Meant some really hardcore drilling and some brute strength to get key cable from one side of hall to another. Our expectation was a bit of bomb site and our period feature coving to be a bit decimated in parts, and likely floor boarding pulled up. But thanks to Amrik’s careful skill and complete respect for the buildings age and features, the damage (easily rectified by plasterer) was minimal and the plan b of floorboards upheaval was avoided . It’s hard to find someone with both the talent to do the job and respect for the home owners/property - so we’ve lucked out finding Amrik (also a joy to have around and communicates v well in advance), so heartily recommend him. Heartily recommond MAP Electrical. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them for many years and after speaking to a few other places for quotes, I am happy I went with MAP. All the comms was done via Whatsapp, which works for me, the admins were happy to answer my many questions and explained everything in detail and they were available well into the evening, even on a bank holiday. The engineer, Amrik, was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Would definitely contact them next time I need work doing.

Starting with super professional and friendly contact to establish what we needed, the lines of communication were brilliant throughout the process. We had multiple jobs (kitchen cabinet lights, an LED bathroom mirror, and two new sockets) that needed completing and Amrik did a brilliant job on all of them, always explaining to us what he was doing and why. He upgraded our consumer unit and did a thorough job completing it in 3 days including testing and remedial work. The process from the start was spotless. He visited the property for a quote. As we lived away from the property he called us and explained the work needed. He was extremely patient and discussed with us our requirements and the best way to proceed. He provided a competitive quote with couple of options to ensure the that the work was broken down and within budget without compromising the safety for the property. We really appreciated his professional and honest attitude. Saira too, was very responsive and kept us informed every stage of the process. Once we paid the deposit, she ordered the parts required ahead of time and ensured that the work can be carried out seamlesly on the day. The remedial work was discussed in detail and fixed within the period if 3 days. Amrik, chose quality over speed for completing the work successfully. We are waiting for the building control notification, EICR certificate and another document, given our experience with the team so far, we are sure that this will be completed ASAP. I had a visit from MAP to repair some lights that needed an electrician to fix. Had great communication from Saira in prep for the visit (meaning there was no risk of the dreaded "I don't have that part in the van, we'll order it in" conversation), and then excellent service from Amrik the engineer. Really good quality work and simple explanations of everything that was done. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again!
Really easy to talk to and set up an appointment Amrik and Saira were great to work with. Amrik tidies up after himself and also does a clean job, he put in a garden power point (including switch for turning off inside) and a couple of power points in for me. It is so easy to talk through what you want adding we did go through a discussion about things a while ago, and he was also able to offer up good alternatives and use his electrical suppliers to get good deals. I can't really say just how good it is to work with someone reliable.

I highly recommend Amrik and his team at MAP! I had a number of electrical issues that needing correcting (faulty switches/socket, exterior sockets and lights that needed to be replaced) and was initially very wary about getting a quote (because I had bad experiences with 2 other private electricians -they left me with sparking sockets and switches that buzzed). However, MAP were fantastic! I spoke to Saira and explained what I needed, she gave me useful information about some of the fittings, issued my quote and booked me in with no messing around. Very professional. Amrik, the electrician, was fantastic and I will definitely contact him for any future work. He was very friendly and polite. He was competent and professional and resolved all the items on my list, no excuses or nonsense and very knowledgeable. He was courteous of my home and came prepared with shoe covers and sheets to cover the floor so that he would minimise the mess. After all of the bad experiences that I have had I cannot explain how happy I am with the work that Amrik has done. Thank you to both of you!
I contacted Map electrical about a possible issue with my oven. Amrik was thorough, knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing in great detail in layman's terms. He also discovered and fixed a separate issue with my earth wiring at no extra cost. I would definitely contact them again in the future!
One of my friends recommended Amrik to me. Communication with MAP has been super easy, Saira got back to me straight away and organised an appointment. She took into account when the parts would arrive and when I would be able to be at home. She recommended some parts needed to fix the issues in my flat and gave me the option to buy them or ask then to supply it. On the day of the appointment Amrik was amazing. He fixed all issues across the flat. Not only a lovely guy, he is also very professional, explained all the processes he was carrying out and fixed a plug socket, fitted new lights and fitted a new bathroom fan to an excellent standard. I cannot recommend him enough.

Amrik recently spent 3 days at our newly bought property fitting various light fittings, an electric shower as well as sorting out our main board to ensure it was all safe. Excellent work by MAP! This was quite a difficult troubleshoot on some very old wiring. Amrik came out promptly and had to go into the very tight sub floor to investigate the problem. He took the time to explain everything to me, so it gave me a good idea of what the issue was and what he had to do to fix it. Amrik is an all round great guy. He's incredibly professional and trustworthy, works hard, is reliable and wants to do the best job possible. I'd never employed a tradesperson before so was a little nervous about the process but from start to finish he was consultative, asking questions to make sure he delivered the work to my spec and even returned a few days later, taking time out of his own schedule, to fit a defective switch I'd bought from another source. More, I have 12 foot ceilings so this job wasn't easy but Amrik didn't shy away. Call Amrik, you won't be sorry.

MAP Electrical fitted a five foot LED Batten light in my garage. The light and wiring is a superb upgrade from the previous substandard work of another electrician a few years earlier.
