I had the pleasure of working with Allied Electrical for some electrical work at my house and was extremely impressed with their service. They responded to my enquiry promptly and were able to fit me into their schedule within a short timeframe. One of the things that stood out most was their willingness to visit my property and assess the work required completely free of charge. They took the time to listen to my requirements, inspect the job thoroughly, and provide a detailed quote afterwards, with no obligation to proceed. This approach gave me a great deal of confidence, especially as other electricians I contacted either charged an inspection fee or provided estimates without seeing the work in person. In many cases, those quotes excluded potential additional labour or material costs, which left me feeling uncertain about the final price. Allied Electrical's transparent and professional approach made the entire process straightforward and stress-free. The work was completed to a high standard, and I felt well-informed throughout the process. Thank you to Allied Electrical for the excellent service. I would not hesitate to use them again and will certainly be in touch for any future electrical work.
⭐ 1 Star Booked a fire alarm service and made it clear from the outset that it was time-sensitive and required urgently. The engineer attended at midday, but there was absolutely no communication throughout the day. At 6:10pm I received a failed certificate via email without any prior phone call, text, or explanation. I then had to chase for clarification myself and was told by email that they wouldn’t be responding fully as it was the weekend and would call me on Monday to discuss. That call never came. A week later, I have still received no follow-up contact. Poor communication, no customer care, and £144 paid for a failed certificate with no explanation or support afterwards. If your matter is urgent, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Sorry to say that in attempting to get a quote I found Nick to be lacking in transparency and good faith, took an age to finally be told a flat contradiction of original information. Further he was rude and unhelpful when I questioned him about why he was effectively saying, I don’t want to quote unless you pay me a lot of money for the job. He wasted a lot of my time trying to arrange a big project that affects 5 flats and has thus delayed it.
Allied Electrical provided excellent service from start to finish. We first had Nick visiting site to confirm the types of lights required. Two days later, Alan and Fin arrived first thing in the morning to work on our emergency lights and were both professional and efficient. They secured their work area, protected the carpets and walls from any damage, and even took the old lights away for safe recycling/disposal — something many competitors don’t offer. The whole process was smooth, with minimal disruption, and the price was very competitive. Highly recommended!

I have been using Allied (Nick) for well over 20 years now . In fact he completely rewired my house in 2003. He services my alarm system annually & deals with everything else that goes wrong electrically . I am very happy with the service he provides & would not think of using any other electrician
We recently had a full house rewire undertaken by Allied Electrical Services Ltd. I found them to be the most professional trades I have ever dealt with. Every step in the process was brilliant. From the initial visit to scope the job, getting the quote and scoping right, the first day through to the last. I have no faults with the work they did. They arrived on time every day, tidied up at the end of every day (even though the house was empty and didn't need to) and clearly took a great deal of pride in their work. The products they used are of high quality and well fitted, everything is perfectly placed. Dealing with Nick, Al and Fin was incredibly easy as they were so polite and professional, even when we made some last minute additional requests. If I could, I would give 6 Stars out of 5. They are great examples of a professional trades. I would have them back to do any electrical work in my home in a heartbeat, and will recommend to all my friends who are looking to get electrical work done.

Phenomenal service and quality! The team came to fit a new cooker hood with external vent, though when asbestos was discovered they led the way in having it tested and removed, and then patched things up so you wouldn't know there was a problem. The final result is stunning, and they even tidied up some old/existing cables along the way. Thanks guys!

Alan & Ryan arrived smack on time as arranged. No nonsense, got the job done beautifully and cleaned up leaving everything immaculate. The whole team were great and I'm very pleased with the work :) I had new sockets, replacement sockets, ceiling light removing, new shower and power out to a garage and each job is to a very high standard and was neatly finished and tidied up after. I was WFH and the guys were friendly and professional. I'd absolutely recommend them.
These guys are the best! I had a few quotes from other companies, (Nick actually came to my home and looked at the job which most are not doing). Him and the team where so professional from start to finish. They installed my EV charger efficiently with no interruption, and cleaned up afterwards. Allied electrical did a full rewire of our house. They did a brilliant job of leaving everything clean and tidy, they managed to lift and replace the laminate flooring with very little disruption. Really happy and would recommend.
I have had a number of electricians work at my property over the last few years and the level of quality that Nick and his team work to is night and day over the others whom have worked at my property. The attention to detail is outstanding and high quality parts are used so the end result is fantastic. And that’s just the end result! Working with Allied Electrical is a breeze - their staff turn up bang on time, show due care and consideration to your property, and leave the place looking just as if not more tidy than the way it was found. Great service and top quality work. Job took longer than expected because of supplier letting them down over parts delivery… no question of adding to the bill. Price as estimated. Safety certificate sent the day after the work. Friendly and helpful throughout.
I asked Nick for a quote for the installing of an oven extractor fan, 3 light fittings and the replacing of 3 wall sockets - the charge was to be £90 (+VAT) an hour labour without the parts where I later found out he was planning to overcharge me also when I bought the parts myself whilst also managing to find someone else who was only charging £25 an hour !

I was very pleased and impressed with Nick and his team. I wanted extra sockets in a couple of rooms and broken pendants and light switches fixed. The guys were prompt, efficient and friendly. They got the job done quickly and hoovered up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone :)
