Had an emergency this morning , I must of called thousand companies as you do when you panic. The team that attended our home today was absolutely fantastic !before coming to us they asked all the relevant to the issue details to make sure they have parts in case . Very knowledgeable engineers- Phil and Lewis. Both were down to earth told what the issue was and fixed it there and then ! Would recommend the company and especially this team, they just great! Thank you .

Fantastic service. I had a problem with a set of kitchen lights. Phil and Lou came around promptly and uncovered a mess of wiring with some saftey issues left by the previous tradesperson. They explained everything to me and set about sorting the problem. They fixed everything, even vacuuming up before they left, I now have a full set of kitchen lights that work and a business card with the only Electrician's phone number I will ever need, thank you Willis and Ward, very much appreciated cannot recommend enough

Recently had a problem with my power tripping out. As I had been putting up surround sound speakers, thought I had nicked a cable. Called Willis and Ward on a Saturday morning and Phil came out within the hour. Did a load of tests on sockets and found that our dishwasher plug and socket were burned, thankfully not my drilling! He changed both and got power back on. Great now for a brew, but the power tripped again. Rang Phil up and he came straight back. Tested again and found that our kettle had blown causing the second tripping. Junked the kettle and all is well again. Good job we called them out otherwise we could have had a fire in the kitchen when we put the dishwasher on. Fantastic service from Willis and Ward thank you Phil, will definitely use again.

I recently had Phil & Lewis down for an electrical inspection, repairs and a consumer unit change. They were very friendly, cheeky chaps and most importantly, did a fantastic job. Absolutely amazing work. First they were called out as an emergency to help fix my shower. When they then realised it had been previously fitted by a cowboy builder (who did a very dangerous) they disconnected everything to make it safe and rebooked in for the following week. On their second visit they came and went above and beyond, staying longer than planned to ensure our home was safe and in perfect working order. Couldn't be happier. Great standard, great pricing. Would highly recommend.

A brilliant service from this company. Phil sorted out the electrical difficulties my dad was having. He explained what had happened and what he needed to do to sort out the issue. It’s difficult to trust people you don’t know especially when vulnerable adults are involved, but even though we knew nothing about electrics it was evident Phil knew what he was doing and would do a good job. Called out at 10pm as we had no socket power in the entire house. I got a friendly and professional response on the phone and was informed fully of the call out costs over the phone beforehand. He arrived within 20 minutes, and got power back to my critical sockets within a couple hours, fantastic emergency response. Booked in to complete the work the following week, he called the night before coming to confirm the time which was great. Following the booked in visit all my sockets now have power. Very professional service and left the house clean following works. Would highly recommend.

An aesthetically pleasing and professional installation only offered what was the best solution and what was necessary for what we required. Installation of cables for a mirror, a toothbrush charging station, spot lights and replacement switch for bathroom lights and fan. All tested on completion I would highly recommend.

Phil attended to fix a problem (caused by an upstairs water leakage) that resulted in our downstairs lighting circuit breaker tripping. Resolving the problem involved replacing a ceiling fixture, pendant cable and lamp and cleaning up the fixed wiring and lamp holder. We were impressed by Phil's professionalism, cleanliness and willingness to explain and demonstrate each stage of the job. He also fitted a new supply authority isolation switch to replace the obsolete device. I can thoroughly recommend this service.

I called Phil on a Friday night at about 7pm after all the electrics went off in the house. He was here by 8pm and managed to get us semi restored and safe whilst identifying the problem. He then came back on Tuesday and spent all day fixing our issue with Kitchen wiring. He was professional, prompt, friendly and very helpful. I cannot recommend his services enough. All back up and running and when he was done you couldn't even tell someone had been messing with the walls and flooring. Cracking Job!

Phil come to inspect the wiring on our new house . Phil advise us the house need a complete new rewiring. The house had no earth bonding and the wiring was very old black and red cabling. More than 40 years old with no protection in the consumer unit. Old rewirable fuses . Phil rewired the house with full surge protection in the consumer unit. I called this company this morning to figure out the issue with our bathroom light, thankfully just a fixture replacement, but Phil was very professional, he gave me a couple of options of replacements, and finished the job in about half an hour. Really chatty and friendly, and did his best to keep things neat and tidy. I'd definitely recommend them, and will use them again for any future jobs we need doing :)

Shower switch replacement

Our 1930s house had been partly rewired and we needed further work on the upstairs. Phil advised a full survey so this was stage one, with no obligation to take further action. We discussed his report and were able to decline/defer on a couple of things and request others. The upshot is that our house electrics are now fully compliant and up to date, and we have sockets and lights etc. where we need them. Phil explained everything fully, stuck to the list and his quote, and was thorough, tidy, and professional throughout. He’s very knowledgeable, and has become our go to for advice, way beyond electrics. He’s also a lovely bloke and a pleasure to have around. We now have a new list of jobs and will certainly be calling on him again.

I needed an electrical certificate, as we never had one, I called Phil he explained what he needs to do and the cost. He came when he said, he tydy up after the work. The price was good. I came home to no sockets working after an electrician had replaced my cooker. I called Phil, he turned up pretty quick and ensured I had some limited but working electrics for the evening. He cleared a day for me later in the week and fully traced the problem, misty due to my old wiring circuit (pre 1965 but probably circa 1920 when the house was built). After a very long day of moving furniture and pulling up floor boards, trace wires and replacing them, we finally had working circuits and sockets again. Phil was very professional, extremely help full and thorough in both his knowledge and the level of his work. I would highly recommend him.

Having recently moved into my first home, I needed an electrical survey completed before undertaking some other work. Phil was responsive to emails, did a fantastic job of the survey and explained his work and any faults that arose really clearly to me. Phil visited me out of hours within 90 minutes and was really professional, friendly and clearly explained the issue to me. He was able to restore power but needed to order a part for a repair. Phil made an out-of-hours visit to us recently to restore power to a loop in the house that was instantly tripping the RCD. He listened carefully to how I had troubleshot the issue, and was quickly to work. Furthermore, he patiently explained his own troubleshooting process to me as he went along. Ultimately he was able to diagnose and rectify the issue in a safe and professional manner, saving us a bundle over the more expensive option. I came away feeling grateful for an honest electrician who did good work, and took the time to help me better understand my home's wiring. Brilliant and efficient service from Phil. I made the unfortunate mistake of drilling through a wire on a Saturday evening and was left without upstairs light fixtures. I called Phil and within the hour he arrived; explained the process and got straight on with the job. He was very knowledgeable and explained the repair process in detail throughout. Less than another hour later, the repair was complete and the wall had been patched up. I'll be using Phil again soon to have a full inspection of our new home done. Already recommended to friends and family.

Phil was brilliant, we hired him to do an electrical survey of our new home and he took the time to do a full inspection. We then hired him to change out the old fuse boxes as they weren't safe and put in a new one. He did this brilliantly making sure everything worked properly and explaining everything he had one to us so as we could both understand. He also went above what he was asked to do, and checked the lights in the kitchen and found they were missing some parts and recommended where we might find replacements. Overall lovely guy who's work i couldn't fault.

Phil is a brilliant electrician, he did the electrical survey when I moved into my house and pointed out some faults and then fixed them for me. He made sure my home was safe and I trusted the work he did and felt reassured from his expertise. He did a very thorough job and also fitted some new sockets which looked really good. My switchboard went off in the dead of night, and I couldn't figure our what had happened to my electrics. Within the hour I was able to contact Willis & Ward, have an electrician sent out, and after an hour of diligent hard work, they were able to restore power and fix my issue. Phil came out and fitted me some electrical work for me,I had a five light chandelier fitted in my dining room and 2 USB sockets in my living room and trunk wiring for hidden wires fir a TV with a plug socket.Phil was on time really polite and helpful,quick and tidy worker,on the two separate occasions Phil did my work he was informative and fair priced. I called Willis & Ward at short notice on a Sunday to help me with a blown cooker & plug socket. Phil Ward attended very promptly and wasted no time fixing the problem socket and also making sure my electricity was safe. We’ve had ongoing bathroom lighting problems for months. After failed attempts from other previous ‘electricians’, the problems continued so we sought phil s help. Phil arranged an appointment to accommodate our circumstances and communicated his costs clearly. On day of visit, we only expected an hour of investigation, and believed he would re-arrange the work to be carried out at another date, but Phil to our delight, carried out the work that day until the problem was found and fixed. Phil listened to our concerns and lighting historical problems and started straight away to locate the problem. Phil found the problem efficiently and with minimum disruption and communicated at each stage of his investigation of what he was doing and found and what the best, safest way to proceed to fix the problem. We had accepted, that our newly refurbished bathroom ceiling would have to be cut open to resolve the problem, but phil respected our property and found an alternative solution to resolve the problem wires in the ceiling without destroying our newly furnished bathroom. He respected our home and treated it like it was his own home and kept all necessary work to a minimum which we were extremely pleased with. Phil tidied up after himself and we would never know he had been. Phil respected our home and was polite, friendly, co-operative likeable and communicated at every stage what and why he was doing what he was doing. Finally, our lighting problem is fixed, safely thanks to Phil. He fixed our problem were other electricians have failed, with no hidden costs or surprises. We now feel safe and secure and Phil even corrected afew other electrical faults in our home. Overall, phil did an efficient, quality job in a friendly, likeable co-operative manner. He made us feel at ease with our electrics and I highly recommend phil. He will leave your home with the problem solved and leaving you feeling confident that your electrics are safe. Had a quote from another electrical company for electrical certificate, the cost kept mounting up, a friend recommended Phil who split the cost down to his hourly rate, explaining everything to me in basic language (for my simple mind). Phil is a great guy, really helped me in a sticky situation on a Saturday coming home from a holiday to find electrics tripping and playing up. I had an EICR done on a new property i had just bought and I was going to rent out. Phil turned up on time and while doing the inspection found that the boiler had been wired using insufficient sized cable. What a top guy Phil is, my husband and I are cannot thank him enough for making our house of horrors safe, all I wanted was another switch in the kitchen and had had numerous issues with the electrics, Phil came out to us for a 30 min job and left almost 5 hrs later, he was so thorough and now thanks to him our electrics are safe, we cannot rate this guy enough, if you want an electrician who is brilliant at his profession and fair to you, Phil is your guy.

Phil Ward came out on his day off over New Year to sort a major problem for me. He even managed to save me £50 compared to other quotes for the same work which included replacing parts that were still in excellent working order! Will definitely call on Phil again.
