After finding myself without electric on a Saturday morning,I panicked and just phoned the first electrician's number that came up. How fortunate that I found Cathy! She was here within half an hour and had pinpointed the problem immediately and had it fixed and safe in about twenty minutes. Her advice and expertise were very much appreciated and I am definitely keeping her as my go to electrician. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you very much indeed Cathy.

Great experience all round, I couldn't recommend Cathy more. I had to have some new plugs sockets and a replacement consumer unit installed - all within a couple of weeks because of some other work I had planned. Cathy came over the same day I reached out and provided a quote, and she did the work the following week. Super professional and considerate, and she gave us good advice throughout. Will definitely be using Bright Sparks again.

Very professional. Answered calls, booked in a time, kept to agreed booking. Installed cooker points neat and tidy finish. Was a relief to have a qualified electrician not mess about with half promises to come round. Would book Cathy again without hesitation.

Cathy the electrician & Mark the plumber replaced my broken en-suite shower with a new one. They were so professional & also kind. The new shower looks good & is amazing to use. I know I can safely call on them now if I ever need an electrician or plumber.

Cathy was brilliant. We’ve just moved into the flat and the wiring, lighting and sockets were ‘eccentric’ to say the least. Cathy thoughtfully sorted everything out and it all now works perfectly. Recommended.

Brilliant - Mark came out within two hours of me phoning him. We had an emergency, as our light had fallen out the ceiling the day before we were due guests. He is friendly, efficient and did not charge extra, because of this being an emergency. Thank you Mark - not only did you quickly repair our light, but we enjoyed your company.

Kathy carried out a quick, clean and excellent job of removing our old ceiling fan/light, then installing the new one. She was prompt, polite and cheerful and the service was well priced. We'll definitely come back to Bright Sparks and would recommend them to anyone!

If they did 6 stars….Mark came round initially to advise on safe electric decommission on a garden room, this followed by 2 more visits, the last tonight after I somehow partially lost power to parts of the house isolating the power to the removed garden room-WITH THE ENGLAND EURO FINAL ON!!! 😱. Despite a bad back AND on a Sunday eve Mark remedied it effortlessly. RECOMMENDED!!

I called Bright Sparks to see if they could help with a tripped switch problem I had after a leak, and he talked me through it over the phone, no charge. Absolute gem. Will save your number!

After my basement was flooded and the electrical circuits tripped, I was nervous about switching them back on once things had dried out a bit. Mark picked up my message late on a Sunday afternoon, listened to my woes, gave me some great advice, and then visited on Monday to look at the issue once I'd spoken to my insurers. A few minutes later, I knew where I stood, and had hot water and a working cooker again. Thanks, Mark, for responding rapidly, and providing sage electrical assistance. Thoroughly recommended.

Can’t recommend enough :) Within 10 mins of calling up with a power loss emergency (at the end of the day!!) Mark came round to help. Realising the issue was bigger than originally thought, Mark was able to make space for us the next morning after collecting parts to fix the issue for a very reasonable price. We had boiler problems and retrieved 2 'OLD' electric heaters stored in the loft, plugged one in and 'BLEW' 16 sockets on the ground floor which Kathy sorted in 1.5 hours - It's rare for us to recommend but Kathy & Mark are a lovely couple and they've completed a number of jobs for us over the last 2 years and we can't thank them enough - Happy to recommend really nice people - - Cheers Lesley & Jim

Cannot recommend Bright Sparks enough! I've used them for several routine jobs, both for our flat, and our whole building; including fixing a botched intercom system and servicing our fire alarms and emergency lighting at short notice. I've also called them twice in emergencies. Once - I had a power cut early evening. Mark was round in the hour, and even lent me an extension cable so I could have some power while I got my daughter to bed. Second time, we had a broken hob. Again - Cathy managed to fit me in on the same day, because she remembered we have a toddler, and knew it would matter for me to be able to use the oven again asap. This is the kind of personal service they deliver - going above and beyond every time, and always at a really fair price. They really know their stuff, have fit us in for every job we've needed doing, and have never let us down. I will always use them in future and tell everyone I know to do the same.

Very rude and very unprofessional female electrian called cathy promised to help me out by disconnecting cooker she knew my situation of having just come out of a long stay in hospital i was on crutches and couldnt move my cooker enough to disconnect she cancelled twice and third time she didnt bother to turn up and couldnt be bothered to let me know she wasnt coming when i chased her up to find out where she was as she knew my cooker was being collected the next day i was promised she would call me later and i would be fitted in and cooker will be done before it was to be collected the person i spoke to wasnt helpful and couldnt wait to get me off the phone i never received that call from this female electrician and was left hanging i guess this is because she didnt know how to disconnect an electrical cooker so rather than say she doesnt know what shes doing she just doesnt bother to turn up or let you know or rebook
