6 weeks after the work the ceiling switch fell out with lots of damage that needed repairing later, 80 quid job cost me 170 After trying to contact Dan for 3 weeks through every avenue I was forced to drive to the address on his website which he later claimed was harassment (I asked the lady who answered they pass on a note 'please ask Dan to call me') He initially refused any responsibility saying "you could've pulled it out in rage" forcing me to file a checkatrade complaint (hours of hassle) Eventually he offered to repair but only in 3 months time while exposed wires were in the bathroom and there's no fan. He finally agreed to refund in installments over 2 months but I had to chase the first month too. I posted a shortened version of this review on Checkatrade but Dan lied about events in his reply and admonished me for leaving bad reviews. Save yourself the head ache.

I've previously had Dan out for replacing some old sockets around the house and decided to contact him again to help with my kitchen refit. He replaced multiple plugs/switches and wired up new ones for my integrated appliances. He also brought my electrics up to date with a new consumer unit. He was reliable and communicated well throughout. I will continue to use him for future electrical work around my property and would definitely recommend him!
