Forbes George Ltd - Electrical, Plumbing, AC and Solar install

Fantastic experience with Forbes George Ltd. Nic was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about delivering a high-quality result. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a priority. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

Because of my house overheating thanks to climate change, I decided to invest in air conditioning to the most affected rooms in my home. While I was discussing this with Nic Forbes-George, I decided to also have a full solar system with battery storage, and backup against mains failure. My thanks to Nic and his colleagues for their patience as they regularly quoted for my latest expectations. Once I'd made the decision to go ahead, it was a mere fortnight before a start was made. On request all visible cabling was buried neatly with the various components out of sight of passers-by. Customer Service and competence were exceptional, I was kept well informed daily of the project's progress and the installation phase was only a week or so from start to finish including commissioning. Everything was done very neatly and the team left the site tidy at the end of every day. I'm so glad that I chose Forbes George. Currently I am waiting for National Grid to give the OK for me to export excess electricity to the grid for which I will get paid. PS I can particularly recommend a Sigenergy system; beautifully engineered with all functions controlled from an App with an easy to understand display

Outstanding service! 🌟 We’ve just had air conditioning installed in our garden office after struggling with the recent heatwaves, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the first enquiry, Nic was incredibly responsive—probably the quickest response I’ve ever received from any company. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and happy to answer all of our questions. The team who complete the installation were equally as great and helpful. One stop shop and really tidy work. I haven’t had to clean up a speck of dust! From our initial enquiry to the completed installation took just 13 days, which was far quicker than we expected. We’re absolutely delighted with the result and would highly recommend them. Thank you

We have a had a fantastic experience with Forbes George, we initially engaged with them for a basic plumbing job but they have since done a full Solar PV install with batteries. We approached two other local companies as well and we felt the time they took with our design meant we ended up going with their solution. All the team were incredibly tidy and professional and when we look at our installation compared to others near us we are very happy with chose these guys.

Superb job by a very knowledgeable team to complete a solar PV install with battery. No hassle quotation and advice to recommend a cleanly routed install. Very professional and considerate from start to finish, working in some testing weather conditions! The scaffolders they used also did a great job. Competitive pricing too from an established company so very happy overall with our decision.

Fantastic service, very professional company to deal with

A great job done by Will who did an emergency repair on my toilet cistern when it did not shut off and started to flood the house. He came at short notice as I had just had on operation and also had a CT scan that day so had to leave the house early afternoon. Job was completed in plenty of time and Will kept me informed at every stage. Very happy with the service I had when it was most needed! Thank you.

Great company. Turn up when they say and complete a very professional service. The place was spotless after their work. Nice guys, would highly recommended.

Excellent service. Prompt, professional and cleaned up afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Very prompt and friendly service. Got boiler service date quickly, excellent customer service.

Nic came to quote and patiently answered my many questions. Today Rob came to fit a Ring doorbell for us. He was polite and made friends with our dog before helping us to decide where to place the bell. He was a tidy worker and once the bell was fitted he talked me through loading the app and showed me how it works. He was very patient and cleaned up before he left.

Great solution to our lack of power in the garage. All work carried out professionally by friendly electricians. Definitely recommend.

Excellent service from this company. Very competitive quote for boiler replacement with work carried out quickly and professionally. Would unreservedly recommend.

It was obvious from the start that Rob and Rudy knew what they were doing as they clearly explained their plans which in turn gave me confidence in their abilities. Both delivered a professional friendly service, with Rob fully testing all electrics before signing off the job, which at times were challenging due to the type of property we live in. Can't fault the service delivery.

An excellent job done by polite, communicative, hardworking electricians. I was really impressed by their high standards and how tidy they were. We will certainly use them again if needed and will recommend them to family and friends.

The team did an excellent job rewiring my fuse board and connecting my new oven. Clean, methodical and polite - nothing was too much trouble - Excellent service throughout! Would happily use again and heartily recommend them to others.

Very grateful for your speedy & professional service

We have recently used Forbes George for a commercial fit out for our Pilates Studio - Nic & John and the team have been amazing and our lighting and space looks incredible. They have also fully fitted the air conditioning system which has been essential in this hot weather and we are so glad that we went ahead with it as we weren’t going to invest in it but now wouldn’t be without it

Nic has done various electrical works on our house from rewiring, installing a new fuse box and all the lights etc. on our extension, garage and kitchen - he's always been friendly and super efficient, and we have been really pleased with the quality of work he and his team have done for us over the years. Very very highly recommended!

I had Forbes George conduct an electrical survey and remedial work on a property I had recently purchased, there was great communication throughout and work completed quickly. Great customer service and quality of work from the whole team, will definitely use again for any work. Thanks Nic, Eben, Rob and the rest of the team!

We used Forbes George Electrical to complete electrical wiring for our garden office. The team did a fantastic job and we knew we could trust them to complete the project to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Forbes George for any electrical project. The team is very professional and complete everything to a fantastic standard!

Having had 4 different plumbers out to fix an inbuilt toilet (that no one wanted to touch - because it could mean taking tiles off!!) in a four year old house Mark was the only one who actually took the time to have a really good look, see exactly what the problem was ordered my parts and duly installed all new parts - without touching my tiles. Communication with Eben regarding the spare parts delivery was fantastic. Mark’s manner and his expertise were superb - I would highly recommend Eben and his team any day.

Friendly service with great communication even as it was a small job. Very happy with the job.

I found Forbes George after a Google search. I had an early morning emergency and they were the first ones I called. They arrived within half an hour and sorted the problem efficiently, also showing me what to do if it happens again. Very happy and will use again.

Polite, friendly and professional. No concerns or issues observed. Will definitely use again.

Two very polite gentlemen came to sort my leaking pipe out , very quick and efficient guys called Mark and Charlie, will definitely use again.I Used FORBES GEORGE and would recommend

I was really pleased with the service from Forbes George. It was only a small job, but they were very responsive, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future.

Asked for an emergency call out to fix a leak underneath the kitchen sink. The guys arrived within 20 mins which was incredible. The service was fantastic and the remedial work was carried out to a very high standard. Overall very impressed.

I needed a EV charger fitted at short notice and had tried my energy supplier and various other National and local electricians who offered very competitive prices, but had 6 to 8 week leadtimes. I came by Forbes George on a Google search and they had good reviews. Nic of Forbes George was able to do the job at very short notice a site survey was carried out and I was advised that my existing consumer unit which was 20+ years old would need replacing to accept the new EV charger. This was agreed a few days later I received quotation. It wasn’t as competitive as previous quotes but It was a fair price, given the timescale for the installation (2 weeks). Nic provided a professional clean service and did an excellent job. Many thanks Bill

If I will have a free service from them.. I will not accept. I will never use them service anymore.

We have used Forbes George for all electrical and plumbing works for the past 8 years - they work really well us and all the other trades and are great with our customers and suggestions for making our projects look fantastic

My boiler broke down during the recent very cold spell. Forbes George were here within an hour, diagnosed the fault, quickly obtained a spare part and had the boiler working in no time. They came back the next day to service it. It had been neglected for some time. I was extremely happy with their service and would be happy to recommend them to anybody.

Quick response to boiler emergency much appreciated. Found and installed a new heating management sytem for us same day. Really happy and will now have on speed dial!

Responded quickly to an initial fault, then carried out upgrade work in an excellent manner. Electricians courteous and tidy. Very pleased with the work done and the cost. I would recommend Forbes George to anyone in the local area

Very professional service, with high level of attention to detail. Kept even the dusty jobs clean and team were great. Will definitely use for future electrical work.

Fantastic service received once again! If you need an electrician I can highly recommend this company. Always there when needed, efficient, professional and friendly.

Had a loss of power, Nic was able to visit on a few hours notice and rectify the issue quickly once arrived. Kept me up to date throughout and explained the issue well. Will be using again for any electrical work needed.

We have used this company for many years in our homes and business. We were always very pleased with the advice and professionalism. Recently we had many jobs including installation of an outside EV charging point, power points in garden and strip light in attic. Replacing lantern at front, lights in kitchen, lights in living room and conservatory. I would highly recommend Nic and his team, no job too big or small.

Phoned just after 7 on a Friday evening because of a tripping switch after unplugging everything in the house. After stating and confirming I was accepting of the call-out fee, George was here in 20 minutes, friendly and professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Fixed and fitted silicon to the outside box so it wouldn't happen again. Even the dogs were relaxed with him - high praise indeed! Will use again in an electrical emergency.

Nic and the guys were extremely helpful sorting out our solar iboost! They also replaced our broken shower ☺️

Nic & his team have been looking after our properties for years and they have never let us down! Friendly, punctual, professional and trustworthy. I recently had need to call on Nic & his team at short notice and and as usual they did a fantastic job and in doing so took an immense amount of stress away from me.
