Top man. I was close to exchange on a house and found out there wasn't an up to date EICR. Bryden Electrical was able to do one for me the next working day, and then talked me through the report and the known issues. I asked about cost of remediation them, and he sent me an estimate with 20 minutes.

Originally Hamilton visited us at short notice when our bathroom light stopped working, but was so impressed we have since got them to fit a new fuse box, install some new power circuits in bedrooms and fit a new bedroom light and dimmer. Really efficient and high quality work, most definitely highly recommended. Very happy all-round.

Needed an unusual job done...fitting a UVB light into our lizards vivarium. Hamilton said he was sure he could sort it, came the next day and indeed did exactly what was required plus some additional tidying up of wires! Thoroughly recommend him and will use again.

Friday evening at 6 o'clock, oven on for dinner and the power went. A load of expensive medication in the fridge. Help! Anyway, Bryden Electrical came to the rescue and all was fixed in about half an hour. Polite, efficient and I was very pleased. Will definitely use them again.

We had Hamilton and Shane over to fit a new consumer box, light fittings and power sockets in our son's recently renovated house and their skill and attitude was excellent. Don't use this company, got a full electric inspection and fuse boxed replaced cost £1200, everything went well on that day, we told him that we also have a issue with the electric hob and he promised that he will replace it for free when we bought the new hob, so we have bought the hob and he have arranged a time with us for the installation, but on the installation day he just not bother to turn up giving some ridiculous excuses , from my own experience this is the worst and untrustworthy company, he only care about the money and never take good responsibility for the customer

I called an electrician for my elderly neighbour. He was respectful and friendly to her and fixed her problem very quickly. He even took his shoes off when he came inside! Would definitely use this company again and recommend them

They supposed to apologize from the first time they realized there was a difference in size between old and new hood I have now to contact a handyman to remove the one they did not finish installing completely to do what they could not finish because they were unprofessional, and they have taken the whole fees . They did not have the tool to just widen it little mm . I am not happy

Exceptional service. An RCD tripped in my house and would not reset so I lost power in some important rooms. Bryden said they would be with me in an hour, which they were. Two electricians arrived and diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes. 5 minutes later a temporary fix was in place. The broken part wasn't easy to source but they had one that evening and returned at 17h45 to put the permanent fix in place. Polite, friendly, professional, effective and reasonably priced. When I asked them if I needed a new fuse box they said, "No, save your money. We are not here to drum up more work". That's an exact quote. Suffice it to say that, going forward, they will be my first call on all things electrical.

They did a fantastic job on a really grim situation where a huge rat had chewed through a cable and died and it then got stuck in a very small hole. These guys went above and beyond on this job. They were efficient, clean and polite and we will definitely use them again - hopefully for non rat related jobs!

Superb work and very responsive Came out to replace a double USB socket that had burnt out (the original socket was not installed by them however) and also to install a wall light in the garden. Phoned them at 4.45pm and they were here doing the work just after 6pm. Brilliant service, thanks.

Bryden came out to attend to a faulty socket which was sparking and tripping the electrics. They found the fault and made it safe. Very pleased with speedy service needed in an emergency.

Bryden Electrical were professional and thorough. They responded within half an hour to an emergency call out for loss of power. The problem took 3 visits to fully resolve and each time they were courteous, polite, cleaned up after themselves and were especially respectful of my elderly mother who at 87 was confused, anxious and worried about what was happening. I was present on the first occasion and felt entirely comfortable with Bryden Electrical attending on 2 subsequent visits without me being there knowing that my mother was in safe hands. I was kept fully informed of progress, quotes and invoicing were quickly sent to me, not too costly and efficiently dealt with. I have no hesitation recommending them and will be using them in the future should there be a need.

Hamilton did an electrical survey (EICR) on a property we’re hoping to buy. He was responsive at all stages, completed the work as agreed. He also took the time to explain the findings of the survey in layman’s terms and then provided a quote for the recommended remedial works. I plan to contract him to implement the improvements once we’re in. Based on the experience so far, would recommend.

We have used this company on multiple occasions for our landlords, they are great to deal with and are very responsive. They complete works to a high standard, do not rip our landlords off and usually have sufficient availability to get works and safety inspections done for our landlords. We usually speak with Hamilton, I would highly recommend him and the company.

Answered my call straight away and was very polite, it was an emergency job and they turned up within a couple of hours exactly when they said they would 👍🏼, Got me back up and running in a very professional manner. Condescending. I called in Bryden Electrical as I’d fitted a pendant light and wanted it checked by a professional as I’m not exactly confident in electrics. Made to feel like an employee who’s work wasn’t up to scratch rather than someone admitting they needed help and paying for it.

Hamilton and his team did a fantastic job replacing/upgrading our old consumer unit and addressing some other wiring faults with our installation. The standard of their work was excellent. They've been reliable, tidy and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. I've got absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, and will happily use them again in the future.

Amazing service! We decided to install LED lights in our living room and needed professional electricians to help us. Got out quickly and done a good job

My cooker fuse had a burnt out wire, meaning the oven was out of action. Called Bryden electrical on the Sunday and within about an hour Hamilton had already turned up and repaired the faulty socket so the oven was back up and working. Also returned the following day as I wanted a particular chrome socket that he had to order. Great service and price, highly recommended.

Hamilton was great! He helped me sort out my heaters (and my hot water) and let me know what I should be doing to get the maximum benefit. He texted me the next day to ask how I was getting on with them. I will definitely use Bryden Electrical again. Very pleased!

Great Service. I had an issue with my economy 7 heater not working so I called Bryden. I arranged a time that suited me. A friendly guy called Hamilton arrived bang on time, did some diagnostics, checked the board and felt that the issue which was likely to be the switch. He then replaced the switch. Hamilton and his colleague arrived promptly and set about resolving the problem efficiently . They were both polite and explained the problem we had. However although able to repair it needed further work in the fuse box which would incur more costs. He took s photo and I arranged for my husband to call him so he could explain what the problem was. He also stated he would send over a photo of the box so my husband could better understand the problem . I have sent 3 emails to Hamilton asking him to contact my husband To explain but no contact. I can only assume he is not interested in continuing with the job. I was also quite upset that he quoted £100 for the hour + parts but stayed 15 minutes longer as he had to go get the part and charged me a further £100. Making total £200 plus £10 for the part. A little extortionate to say the least.

Booked Bryden Electrical for disconnecting an existing electrical oven and installing a new one. They were able to offer a same day service which was a bonus and was most reasonable in price in comparison to others I'd called on the day. They were polite and quick - would book again!

Here within 30minutes of my call. Took down 2 light fittings from high beams as I'm moving house. They cover the area of my new home which needs a lot of electric work. I will most definitely use Brydens.

When I first contacted Hamilton he responded within minutes to arrange the best time to come and give a quote on the work I needed doing. Turned out to be an even bigger job (which I had suspected due to a rogue electrician doing the previous work in my property) he then provided me with another quote to rectify all the problems. All quotes are inclusive of VAT so the price you get quoted is the price you pay. He called me regularly on the job to keep me updated and to clarify any decisions he wasn’t 100% clear on to make sure I was happy at all points during the work. Quick, tidy and efficient. If I need any more electrical work done I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him or recommend him to others.

I called Bryden Electrical to look into a power issue i had. A chap named Hamilton Bryden turned up when requested at 8am, by 8.15am had made a diagnostic that the entire place needs re-wiring and quoted me 2500. I asked for a report and he quoted a further 200. He then called me and asked when he would get paid 100 for the call out charge, I said to email me the invoice and i will pay him as soon as he sent, ( he at this point said he will call police if i dont get paid). He was paid by 830am as my bank statement shows. His tone was rude and I realised he was trying to rip me off by refusing to answer some questions I had and with all the typical tactics these companies do. I called in another electrical contractor, at 6am the following day. The chap company replaced 3 electrical socket which had a water exposed to them and charged me 75 for 1.5 hours work with the electrical safety certificates that was needed. i called Byrden Electrical to find out why they would charge so much for replacing one plug socket, i was verbally threatened, that i would get burnt on a text message as well as verbally abused by his swearing and ill comments on a phone call after telling him that they would be reported to trading standards. Hamilton Bryden then retaliated by leaving a comment on social media that he did not get paid for his work, and abused which is completely untrue and have bank statement and cctv proof. Rouge traders, Trading standards and Dom Joly are also being tipped off as I feel sorry for the vulnerable people they may have ripped off. Worst part is the electrical contractor that remedied the work, with new plug sockets and 1.5 hours fixing the issue, was still cheaper than Bryden Electrical 15min call out cost. I assume they saw a nice coffee shop and instantly thought they could rip me off. This is by far the worst company I have used for property in years, and I have dealt with a few of them over the past 20 years or so. Completely dirty rotten scoundrels. DO NOT USE!
