A B Electrical Essex Ltd

Asked for an electric inspection/test for a large building with additional outhouse. Adam from A B Electrical was very helpful and kept us updated. Everything was smooth and communication was good. Will keep him in mind to use this company again - thanks.

Saw the issue and recommended the works on another visit. Quick and effective resolution

Excellent job. Quick and tidy. Adam is very friendly and helpful. Good advice given. Recommended

Big thank you to Adam at AB Electrical who saved me a call out through a call and a few photos. If I ever need any electrical work I will be making a call to AB Electrical. Thanks again Adam.

Happy to recommend AB electrical for the prompt and professional service.

Adam, the electrician from A B Electrical who did my jobs, was pleasant, competent and quick, though he could have paid closer attention to my instructions. I asked him to replace the ceiling light in the laundry closet with a flush ceiling spotlight. In the event he simply replaced the broken ceiling light with an identical fitting. I made no comment. After all, it's just a laundry closet. He also put right the work my son had given up on and very quickly installed a ceiling light fitting in another room. His work was neat and he made no mess. I'd ask him to do work for me in future.

I had an electrical issue with around 11pm on NYE and reached out to Adam. He replied straight away and arranged to come and fix the problem on New Year’s Day for a really good price. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Had some outside lights replaced. They fitted me in swiftly, arrived on time and answered any questions I had. Thank you. Would happily recommend.

Very professional, polite, very friendly, very happy with work done. Thanks Adam

Adam completed an EICR report for us within less than a week from contacting him and done a thorough job making sure that we was aware of any potential issues for a property we was looking at purchasing. 100% would recommend Adam to anyone. Not only is he incredibly hard working but he is also very clear in his explanations. A bonus is that he is very approachable and easy to get on with. Thanks again we will 100% be using you in the future!

Communicated well, arrived on time, cleaned up any mess. Did a great job, definitely recommend

Very quick to reply and worked very efficiently. I would definitely recommend and will be using for other electrical works in the house

It’s a pleasure to work with Adam. He is responsive, efficient, and reliable. Everything was done professionally and on time.

Got an EICR for a property we were selling. Very responsive comms, quick to turn around a quote and even quicker to get in and get the job done. Was also super accommodating to the engineer who'd turned up at the same time to do the gas certificate! The report is very thorough, and I feel assured that we now know the exact state of the electrics in the property. Highly recommended.

Great service, punctual , would definitely recommend and will use again.

Needed a switched plug socket replaced urgently and Adam attended within 24 hours. Very professional, knowledgeable, polite and personable approach at very reasonable cost. Will definitely use again in future. Update: 18/11/2024 - Adam replaced my friend’s bathroom pull cord light switch very promptly after I gave her his contact details. He made the effort to fit her repair in between jobs and within three hours of her call. Brilliant service again at a very reasonable price.

Swift, professional and excellent job done! Recommended anytime.

We contacted Adam to ask if he could do an EICR report at short notice, as we were selling a flat and needed this for the buyers solicitor, Adam was excellent, he turned up at time stated, he was curtious and explained exactly what he would do . He was very thorough, tidy and meticulous. He carried out works that needed doing , which we are extremely happy with, and the EICR certificate was emailed straight away to us . Top quality work, and the price stated was the price we paid, we would not hesitate to use Adam again. Thank you Adam . Great customer service .

I was recommended Adam by a friend of mine. I contacted Adam and he was resposive and came at short notice to move some sockets. Adam was polite and knowledgable and will definately being calling him again next week to connect my induction hob and oven. Highly recommend

Very happy with Adam’s work. He installed two new flush sockets into a bedroom and made the existing sockets flush into the wall. Also installed spotlights and re wired our loft lighting. Very professional and nice to deal with. Left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Great job. Thank you.

I have used Adam before and he was great to deal with. This was a small job, on and off pull cord had snapped for extractor fan in bathroom. Turned up when he said and completed the job no problem. Reasonable price as well. Thank you

Work completed on time and neatly. I'm happy with the workmanship.

Adam has just completed installing new lighting in my ensuite bathroom. It is not the first job he has done for me and I have always found his work to be completely up to standard. He is a qualified electrician and he always completes his work in a courteous prompt and punctual manner, I would always recommend him to anyone for any job requiring electrical work be large or small. I fully intend to employ him whenever possible to do any electrical work for me. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

Adam kept in touch with arrival updates, and was on time, and also did a great job sorting out 3 small electrical problems. Good price quoted for the work. Will definitely use his services again.

Adam came to help us by adding a number of new double sockets and identifying the purpose of some unknown wires under a floor in the house. He also gave us advice on two larger items of work but we decided not to go ahead with them for the moment. He was very prompt in sending a quote, helpful in working around our needs to do the work and actually turned up on time! (unlike many tradesmen.) With his colleague he did the work in one full day. Although, like most electricians, he didn't see it as his role to 'make good' the chased walls, he left them otherwise in as clean a state as was possible. I would not hesitate to ask him to do further work.

Adam has consistently delivered, doing an excellent job. I’ve used him for a number of projects including upgrading & installing down lights, fixing electrics post a flood to installing a new RCD/rewire. Decent, professional, responsive and good value for money.

Great job!

Got great service! Was very happy with the work done. Friendly and understanding.

Decided to use this company owing to the good reviews, as we wanted a EICR for a house that we were buying, he made an appointment through the agent but failed to turn up, no phone call and no one could get hold of him, gave him a couple of days for an explanation nothing,

I work for a block management company and we use this company on a daily basis. The company director Adam is very friendly and helpful. We use his company for all of our electrical needs.

Adam really takes cares with his work and provides a very professional high-quality service. He has fixed a number of problems at my property, including an intermittent issue centred around an earthing problem that was difficult to diagnose and resolve. Adam took considerable time and effort prior to quoting for the work, to ensure the diagnosis and repair would maximise the chances of success. Following the repair, he asked me to keep him informed of progress, and has followed this up to make sure the problem hasn't returned. From my experience of Adam's work to date, I thoroughly recommend A B Electrical Essex.

Adam provided a competitive quote and arrived on time and completed the work in good time and professionally. Highly recommend!

I was lucky enough to find Adam’s details through a flyer in the block of flats I used to live in. Adam has now helped me out a few times with a range of jobs, from spotlights to new consumer units, he’s also done some work for my parents too. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend.

AB Electrical have been extremely helpful and responsive in regards to the work we have gone to them for over the last year or so. He booked the job to be done in a time to suit me I was so pleased to find an electrician so close to where I live that offers such great service. Would definitely recommend this company and will be returning next year for my annual PAT test. Thank you Adam

I contacted Adam to arrange an inspection of the electrics of a house I just bought. It was great that he was able to fit it in so quickly. He carried out a very thorough inspection of all the boards, sockets and lights in the property compiling a report as he went but also explained what he was doing and what he found. I received the report the same evening along with a quote for all the remedial work necessary along with some additional jobs I had requested. I am very happy with my experience so far and will be engaging Adam's services for the further work.

Were recommended to me and came round at short notice. Will definitely be using again.

We were having difficulty finding a local electrician and then read reviews about AB Electrical, so contacted them to install a kitchen spotlight bar. Adam was prompt, friendly and reasonably priced. I would recommend him and thankfully now have an electrician for future requirements.

New consumer unit fitted. Very happy with service. Work carried out by Connor who was polite and professional. Tidy and quality work.

Adam came to quote and install an additional plug socket during December 2018. He was very efficient, the works included running cables along the inner wall across the room. Inevitably this created a hole in the wall but Adam left the wall in a tidy way “make good”. All operating well some months later so thank you Adam! He’s kind and personable, recommended. Following success of Adam’s previous work at my property I have become a repeat customer. Exterior security light refitted and tested to operate reliably, thanks Adam 💡 🏡 (during January 2019). Adam is friendly and polite, highly recommended.

Very satisfied with the installation of my smart meter, would recommend Adam for all your electrical work . Arrived on time, cleaned up afterwards and very polite.

A B Electrical rewired our whole house. Adam did everything as agreed and was always available to help with questions that we had.

Adam came out to do an EICR and a bit of fault finding for us at quite short notice. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, giving honest and practical feedback around all options available to us without the scaremongering and upselling that a lot of those in the trade can sometimes do . A friendly and clearly highly knowledgeable guy and one I wouldn't hesitate to use again (I'm already planning to in fact for a CU replacement at some point) Highly recommended!

Visited near Christmas fitted a new shower pull and returned another day to fix my bathroom fan. Excellent service , very polite and left my house clean and tidy.

I couldn't imagine using anyone else !!!!!!!!!!!

In his most recent visit, Adam quickly identified the problem we had with our outside light and came back later on the same day to replace it. He is prompt and efficient and we have been very pleased with all the work he has done for us.

I found this man on google and booked with put up the celling lights and change the wrong wired lights switches. Got booked next day and the job is very good ! Highly Recommended !

We had to update our old style fuseboard with a new one and Adam's price was by far the best, but he worked quickly and neatly, and most importantly did a really good job. We are very pleased with the result. Many thanks
