Dan and team did a phenomenal job rewiring our old home! Its clear Dan is very enthusiastic about what he does, he came round to take a look and to do a quote and gave lots of great suggestions, and made sure we were happy with everything. A few days prior to the work commencing we had a huge flood which set us back by months, dan was really nice about it and accommodated us, swiftly rebooking us in for a later date and even helped with recommending other great tradesmen for the other work we now needed and arranged with them how they would slot around each other, taking a lot of stress off us in an already stressful time. I cannot recommend Dan enough, he gets the job done to the highest standard and in the time frame set out, tidies up after himself, always communicates well, and even after the work is done I feel confident to reach out to him with any questions that I have. Will defo be using again for any electric work needs!

I can honestly say that Lighting services Ltd are an excellent company to employ. I had a fuse board covered up years ago by, yep you dressed it. It was in a very awkward place and needed moving. My son in law recommend Danny and his team and I thought he would sa " no way" But I was wrong. They managed to to that job without damaging or removing any of the kitchen. Their attitude is very professional and they don' t stop. They are also gas trained and licenced so they remove our old gas hob and renewed it with an electric hob. Fantastic. Oh and by the way I am a retired sparky so I know hard the work was. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing I rang Dan to ask for a light ceiling pendant to be replaced with a new one the wires were hanging out the ceiling and we didn't like the idea our daughter being in the room with live wires Dan was fully booked up for the day with appointments but Dan managed to squeeze us in thank you so much Dan we really appreciate it our daughter can sleep safely in her room. Dan and his team did an excellent job of installing the power and data cables from my house to the garden. They were very considerate of their surroundings, even lifting carpets and moving wardrobes. They left our house looking as though they’d never been there. The team were all very conscious of how the finished job looked, making sure all cables and junctions were perfectly placed. I was not only very impressed at the initial conversation I had on the phone with Dan (and I ask a lot of questions!) but also his visit to me to assess the work and then giving me a quote specific to my needs and the work required. It is worthwhile noting that I had another problem that occurred just before the visit and this was inspected and resolved (it was a lose wire and a fitting that was loose). Excellent service, the guys arrived when agreed and immediately got to work. As well as talking me through what needed doing, they quickly picked up on some potentially dangerous work done by a previous contractor and insisted on making this right - absolutely the attitude that made me feel secure in their professionalism. As can be seen in the pictures, the lights they fitted for me look great and are perfectly flush with the ceiling. No damage to any surfaces or around any of the switches they worked on either. Very keen for them to return and fit an extractor fan, highly recommend.

I recently moved into my new forever home as a semi-retired single woman. I had the fortunate pleasure to work with Dan and James and the experience was outstanding. Fantastic five star installation of our EV charge point. Dan and his very hard working apprentice James were courteous, efficient and were not afraid to crack on and solve a tricky install pushing wire through our loft which was an extremely tight space. They were considerate to make the cable less visible and intrusive to the aesthetic of our property. They left the property cleaning up any wires snips or drill dust that they’d made. We are so happy with their work we will be sure to have them back to do further work at our renovation. Dan and his apprentice moved our bathroom extractor fan switch to a more accessible location and also moved the hose in the loft and fitted a new vent. Communication was great from the start and always replied to messages. Arrived when they said and got straight to work. A bit of a tricky job due to previous wiring issues, but they sorted everything out really quickly. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

The first time I came across Dan was via a car charging installation company 2 years ago, since then he’s set up his own business of which I reached out to him personally to install my new car charger and install electricity to my new build garage. He prices jobs as fairly and is very reasonable. Again, I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Reluctantly I have to give Dan a one star review . As you can tell from my profile , I mainly review the very bad businesses I come across mainly to warn people. After being let down by one electrician ( he didn’t turn up for the job) I decided to hire Dan who seems to be a nice person but I was wrong . He did a relatively straight forward job and he refused to have a look at a dishwasher ( claiming he ran out of time ) . This only takes few minutes - very unprofessional as he promised to look at it . He then Unfortunately refused to send me receipts of the material he bought Including a new electric shower .I thought it was a joke initially but apparently not … he finally sent me the receipt so he gets paid .. only to find out a discrepancy between what he quoted and the actual cost of the Materials( in his reply to my review he mentioned there was no discrepancy between the receipt and what he’s asked for …. I just can’t believe that .. lies after lies ) . I was shocked as I bought he’s an honest man … I thought I will give him the benefit of the doubt however he refused to do the other job which we’ve already agreed he will do. obviously ! As he knew I will be asking for the receipt again …Dan is certainly NOT honest unfortunately, claiming that he doesn’t have to provide receipts to customers… more over he overcharges by 30% when he buys the material ( without prior agreement ) . I was very frustrated but never aggressive and I paid him all what he’s asked for. I’ve never came across someone who refused to provide receipts for materials he bought and is expecting me to trust him and pay as advised ! This guy is a rip off . I will certainly not use his services again and I don’t advise anyone to use his service because he’s dishonest and not trustable and will certainly take advantage of you . If you end up using his services please ask for receipts or else he will lie about the prices .

Daniel was great - he came around to discuss my EV install plans - he went thru options after checking location of install and distance from consumer unit and main board. At this point there was no obligation to hire him. His knowledge of equipment and method statement was fantastic. A very professional person with zero intentions of up selling, just giving the customer what he needed. Arranging a start start date was simple. Job was completed on time and the work was completed without any issues. Daniel made sure area of work was cleaned after completion and spend time to show me how the EV charger worked. Would highly recommend, and in fact, i did refer Daniel to a friend who also had a great experience. 5*'s

Daniel did a great job installing power and lighting to our garage - which is at least 30 feet away from our house. The cabling has all been laid really neatly and it was easy to communicate with Daniel, who responded to us promptly all the way through and supported us to get the work completed with a tight turnaround.

What sets Dan apart from other electricians is: He responded to my email! He then actually came out to look at the various jobs I needed doing, which ranged from changing power sockets to creating a ceiling light. Then gave me a very reasonable quote and a date for the work to be done. When he did come to the house, he was always on time. The actual work was done to a very high standard and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely be using Dan again.

We had quite a few electrical faults around the house and Dan from Lightning Electric Services was recommended to us by a family member. Dan quoted us a very good price for a number of jobs including replacing an electric shower, replacing fan motors, putting in spotlights and changing a number of light fixtures and light switches. There were a few glitches along the way due to faulty electric shower but all in all an excellent job done by Dan and his colleague. I needed a home charger installation for my Hybrid car so posted on mybuilder and got lots of interest. Dan was on the phone to me within minutes. He was very helpful and came up with lots of options. I was sent pictures of his previous work and read his reviews. I chose Dan for the job, and we booked a date and time. Dan called me on the morning to give me an estimated time of arrival which was great as it meant we were not waiting around all day. His workmanship is excellent and he is super tidy and cleaned away any mess that was made. I would highly recommend him for any electrical work.

We needed a complete re-wire of our house and could not be happier with the service dan and his team gave us. They completed the entire job within 2 and half days and made all the changes we asked for including security lights front and back. They did a fantastic job!

Have used Dan for at least 6 jobs (at last count) in both house and garden, for all sorts of electrical works including fitting a couple of dozen sockets, external security cameras and lights, adding an additional electrical panel, and many other jobs, big and small. Dan and James did a fantastic job in a large set of tasks. All were completed effectively and efficiently with no fuss, both of them were polite, on time and courteous. Installation of multiple light fixtures and build of some tricky furniture was done in no time and really happy with the result. One of the fixtures was actually faulty and they managed to repair it saving us hassle of having to replace it with the shop we got it from. We would have no issues recommending the guys to our neighbours, friends and family and will be calling on them again if we need work doing in future, 10/10

I always go to Dan for any electrical work to be carried out in my home and my rental property. I have always felt reassured that the jobs will be done to a high standard. Dan is professional, responsive and takes his time to explain exactly what needs to be done and what issues there are with any faulty electrics.
