Absolutely fantastic job! So courtesious and tidy worker, nothing too much trouble would 100% use again. Also sorted a job for my daughter straight away after completing lights at my address.

Helpful, kind and honest. Have used this firm twice now and would highly recommend. Quick to respond. Fair pricing. Wont try and persuade you that you need something you don't. Very professional and knowledgeable. As an older person who has had experiences of tradespeople trying to take advantage, its refreshing to know J & S Electrical is completely trustworthy.

Excellent service, came out and fitted a Meross smart thermostat for me

I contacted Sher regarding a potentially unsafe plug socket,I am very sceptical of tradesmen after having a bad experience but he was so helpful and happy to give advise without being pushy.I arranged for him to come and was prepared for him to potentially give me the worst case scenario and try to push up the price he quoted.I was delighted that he was as lovely as he seemed on the phone and he carried out the repair very efficiently and checked other concerns I had as well.he reassured me that although other things needed doing they were safe for now and he wasn’t pushy at all and only charged the amount quoted,so if you want an excellent tradesman who is reliable, turns up on time and charges a fair price then don’t hesitate to contact him

Sher was amazing start to finish, very professional and timely and great price! Will definately be using again!

Absolutely 5 stars. Really helpful, professional and friendly. Phoned in the morning with a problem. All resolved same day. Will be recommending to all family and friends.

I have been using J & S for about two years now. Sher has done a lot of work on my home, fitting a new consumer unit, an EV charger and fixing some other minor electrical issues. He’s also serviced my boiler each year and fitted a radiator for me. I have consistently been very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. Sher is a nice and polite tradesman, who communicates well, tidies up after himself and charges reasonable prices. I am happy to continue using him for the foreseeable future and would highly recommend to anybody looking for any electrical or gas safe related work to be done round the home.

Sher has provided a first class electrical service from the moment I contacted him. Not only was he kind and polite, he listened, communicated well, organised a time to come out, carried out the work professionally. I would most definitely recommend him.

Always- excellent, reliable, polite, prompt, courteous.

This is honestly one of the best electricians you will find!!! This excellent team is led by Sher who is so thoughtful, considerate and respectful. We first contacted them in August 2023 as we had a set of lights that we had to replace. The job turned out to be harder than first expected due to the old fixtures of the house but the team took the time to give us a selection of options and worked hard to complete the job to our satisfaction. The lights looked amazing and we needed to call them again in May 2025 to install some fan lights and an outdoor plug socket. The work completed by the team has been brilliant. We can not recommend them highly enough! They are a dedicated team who are excellent at time keeping, efficient, very thoughtful, cheerful, friendly and professional and even with the toughest of jobs their calmness is unwaivering! If you ever need an electrician, they are definitely the ones to call!!!

Sher was prompt in coming to check the electrical problems in my house, attended to it professionally and with a good rate. I recommend him unreservedly

Top guys, got them in to do a full re wire and full new central heating system. Had them back to service the boiler and do a little bit more after redecorating. Would recommend 👍

Couldn't be any happier. I rang the company on the weekend as my shower unit wasn't working. He come straight out this morning and noticed one of the cables were unsafe. Ripped all the old cable out and reinstalled a new one now everything is all back and running. Happy with the job and happy with the price! Thanks you I'll definitely be using him again 👍

I am incredibly grateful to J&S Electrical for his outstanding service. Despite not feeling well, he came to my home and efficiently fixed the electrical issue I was facing. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond were truly remarkable. It’s not often you see someone put in so much effort, especially when they’re not feeling their best. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to ensure everything was working perfectly before leaving. I highly recommend him for any electrical work and will certainly call on him again in the future. Thank you for your hard work and commitment!

I required a local electrician in Burnley, so I reached out to J&S Electrical & Gas when I experienced a complete power outage at my home. I contacted them and they came out the same evening and within 30 minutes they had identified the issue. Impressive skills! Not only did the find the electrical fault and fix it they also discovered and repaired a gas leak. My heroes! I am extremely pleased to have come across this local company. The service was top notch and professional, and now I feel more secure knowing that the gas leak (which I knew nothing about) has been taken care of. I have already scheduled them to come back and conduct an EICR due to other wiring faults they pointed out. Update to follow once the electrical installation condition report has been completed.

Very highly recommended. Friendly and professional, the guys did an electrical and gas safety certificate for us, fitted new kitchen lights and a fuse box. All at reasonable cost, not upselling things we didn't need and clean jobs done. Honest and good work completed quickly and we will be using them again.

Called on Friday afternoon as we had issues with our heat pump and noticed on the website that the company fits and repairs them. We had been struggling to find electricians locally that know about the heat pumps and how they work. They were extremely helpful and friendly on the phone. They was with me by 4:00pm and soon had the problem sorted sorted in under an hour. Really lovely and explained everting as they went along and ensured we were reassured with the work done and all was working before they left. I actually received a follow up call the following day to make sure everything was still in order and our hearing and water was working effectively. Would 100% recommend and will use again in the future for any electrical jobs.

Fantastic service, very friendly, will use for future needs.

TLDR: Got the job done, quickly and professionally. I had a fault in my downstairs plug sockets, it's an older house with a lean to for a kitchen extension, but the team managed to find the fault, with some very thorough testing, restore power to 85% of the property within a few hours. Great work, highly recommended. Cleaned up and ensured key appliances were working and back in place before leaving.
