Requested installation of a floodlight, with motion sensor, for the car park of a development of flats. One area at the back of the car park was very dark as there was no lighting, so the floodlight was ordered to help residents feel more secure. After installation it was apparent that the light couldn't reach the back of the car park, so David was called back. He fitted some kind of booster, following which all went well for a couple of days until we then noticed that the light was staying on 24/7. Dave was called out again. Now we are back to the light not working unless you're literally walking right up to it - which renders it pretty useless. At the last call out I complained to David and said I hoped we weren't going to be charged for his callouts to fix this issue, which had been ongoing from the start. He has now refused to come back to try to get the unit working properly, and has said he will not charge us for the floodlight. So he's done the job, which has consistently failed, and instead of working to find a solution to get it working correctly (which is what good customer service is about) he's now walked away from the job because I had the audacity to complain (and this was not done rudely, as he has suggested). I can understand that, travelling from Walsall to Worcester probably was not profitable for him, (especially having had to come out so many times!) so I guess he's just cut his losses. Handy tip: Buy the right product and get it right first time and people won't need to keep calling you back!

I really would have liked to have left David a positive review especially as he was recommended to me by a friend but unfortunately, this is not the case. I contacted David via e-mail and requested a quote. Him and his colleague attended my house to have a look and advised that he would need to have a look at the cost of some materials before providing me with a quote via e-mail afterwards. It has been exactly 2 weeks now and I have had no further communication and response to my follow-up e-mail and text message. Perhaps something has genuinely happened, thereby, meaning a response is not possible or there was potentially a better job out there.
