Great experience all round getting the electrics done for my new kitchen. Fuse box upgrade (they accomodated doing this earlier than planned), new circuit for an induction hob, and new lights/switches/sockets etc. All very efficient, friendly and tidy. Would definitely recommend!

Ed and Jack were friendly, courteous, efficient, and highly professional. They treated my home with great respect, were happy to help move things when needed, and left everything clean and tidy after completing the work. They fitted a new distribution board, installed additional sockets in my garage, and fitted new lights in my bathroom and extension, all to a very high standard. I'm extremely pleased with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these two professionals.
Can't recommend Roland J Bell highly enough. Ed, Jack, Zach and Johnny did a great job, these guys are true professionals. We are so pleased with the service we received in resolving a serious pigeon problem under our solar panels. The pigeons had become a major issue, creating constant noise and a significant amount of mess. Their droppings were ruining our garden and we were increasingly concerned about the impact on the health of our pets, who had become unwell after being exposed to the contaminated area. A special thank you to Marisa, who coordinated the entire project professionally and kept us informed every step of the way. From the initial enquiry through to completion, the process was seamless. Every contractor involved arrived as scheduled and delivered exactly what had been agreed. The work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, giving us peace of mind and allowing us to enjoy our garden again. The team completed a rewire of our first floor a few weeks ago, along with some additional works and prep for a future solar install. The whole team were excellent, cannot fault anything about the process or the quality of work done. They were very communicative, asking questions about what we wanted, what our future plans were and what work was worth completing now. The quality of the work is excellent everything looks great and the consumer unit is a piece of art. There were no negatives or qualifiers, I would wholly recommend, and plan to use the team again in the future.
I used RJB to repair my vent axia MVHR. Iain the electrician who visited was polite, knowledgeable and clearly explained the work done.
Had my VentAxia serviced first, and the replaced with a new unit (the old one was 14 years old and making noise). The engineer arrived on time, made a complete install and calibration, explained everything, and the work was tidy. Definitely recommend using their services.

We contacted Roland J Bell to fit an EV charger. Jon came out shortly after our initial contact to quote for the work, gave us options for the type of charger we'd like and offered a professional opinion, based on our home and car. Jon came back to fit our charger. He was fast, efficient and polite. He was also a tidy worker and cleaned up the dust afterwards. 10/10 would recommend!
Following a successful tender, Roland J Bell Ltd installed 33 Solar panels with an output of 14.85 kW on our Village Hall roof together with a 13.5kWh battery storage system. They also rearranged the existing wiring to optimise the use of the electricity generated. Roland Bell provided a very thorough job fitting in with the hall booking requirements and carried the work out in a very tidy, cooperative and timely manner.
Not just the best electricians I have come across but the best tradesmen. I have used a fair amount and none of them come with the same level of professionalism. Johnny and the team are high level electricians and rewired my whole house and done the work to perfection. They are always on hand to answer any questions or deal with any issues. We were searching for a quality installer for a solar PV/battery system. We had a personal recommendation for Roland J Bell from another contractor that we had used before for an early technology solar PV system. We obtained quotes from two other companies installing this technology and chose Bell on the basis of the non-pushy customer service and the integration of the proposed installation to our existing house electrics. The quality of workmanship was excellent, completed on time and with no debris left behind. There were inevitably a few integration bugs to sort out with the inverter/battery/power manager hardware and its firmware, but the connection to our energy service provider was seamless. 6 months later we remain very pleased with the investment and Roland J. Bell's workmanship and customer support.
These guys are great! They re-wired our home (old victorian) from top to bottom; it took a while and was done in stages; we stayed living in the home and prepared each room/floor for them as they moved through the house; there was a lot of dust (be prepared!), but no request was too much for them; they also popped back as and when required for bathroom bits to be connected as that was changed at the same time. They are really friendly and personable. We wouldn't use anyone else and had been recommended them by a friend who had their house re-wired too; subsequently we have recommended them to a friend who has just moved homes and needs a re-wire.

Roland J Bell offer an exceptional service. Have used this company for several years via my employer and even on occasion for my personal projects. Competitive on price & good quality of work all round. The guys turn up when they are supposed to, do a good job and even clean up after themselves when finished. Roland Bell were helpful and explaining Solar electricity, then designing a specification with 16 Panels and storage battery to suit our needs and budget. The installations was carried out on the proposed date with minimal disruption. They then carried out the procedure to get the system on line, we have enjoyed trouble free solar power for 18 months to date
