Brilliant job from start to finish by Harrison from Lockwood Electrical Contractors. He came highly recommended and fitted our induction hob, moved a few sockets, and installed under-cupboard and kitchen lighting, all to a really high standard. He was punctual, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. He explained everything clearly, gave us some good advice was friendly throughout, and left everything clean and tidy. We’re really pleased with the result and would definitely recommend, and will be using his services again.

Turned out on a Sunday evening when the power had tripped and wouldn't turn back on. Diagnosed the fault (electric hob), isolated the dodgy element and returned later in the week to fit a new hob. All good.

Excellent from the first phone call. Electricity went with a bang at the weekend, Harrison came out at the weekend, made the area safe and explained what had happened and what was needed to fix the problem. 2 days later new fuse board installed, certificate issues and left the area tidier than when he arrived. Fantastic work and will definitely use for our next jobs.

Harrison is very busy (which is always a good sign) but he still managed to fit us in and recently repaired a light switch, replaced two smoke detectors and fitted a new bathroom fan at very short notice and at a reasonable cost. Can't fault level of top quality service and reliability - highly recommend using this company.

Lockwood Electrical Contractors have carried out various works for me over the years, large and small, including advising on and installing a car charger, compiled an electrical survey on a house I was purchasing, sourcing and fitting various electrical appliances, rewiring , sourcing and fitting various lights in and outside the house. The work is always first class. Reliable, efficient and value for money. I cannot recommend them highly enough and the advice I’ve been given on various electrical topics is always backed up by a link to a website or just additional information is provided. I simply wouldn’t go to anyone else when I need an electrician.

Harrison installed a new fusebox, 32 Amp isolator and cabling for a Hot Tub we are due to have installed. He talked us through all the plans for where everything will be installed checking we were content along the way and advised on what items will work best for us in terms of a safe, secure setup in line with latest regulations. Very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and polite and the cabling etc has all been done so you wouldn't know it was there despite 20 meters of thick cable running from front to back of house. Very happy with the standard of workmanship and leaving our place as clean as he found it. Will definitely be in touch for future outdoor lighting work we are planning to do.

Harrison carried out all the electrical work for our new kitchen including an enhanced lighting system and, where appropriate, isolation switches. His work included advice and design which ensured we achieved a modern installation that also complied with all regulations which would apply to a 'new build' house. He also installed heat and smoke detectors covering the whole house. We are extremely pleased with the standard of his work, his co-operation with the other contractors involved (joiners, plumbers etc) and his focused work style. We paid for materials at the commencement of the work and the balance on completion. We consider his overall cost very reasonable and will engage him again when the need arises.

Oven socket suddenly stopped working. Needed a local electrician. Not only did they fit me in on the same day it was very reasonably priced. Explained the fault and replaced the faulty socket. Respectfully removed his shoes which wasn't really necessary. Very professional, Highly recommend.
