Reviewers of E&G Electrical Contractors describe George as polite and friendly, and several mention that he turned up when he said he would. One reviewer said George talked them through a temporary solution while on holiday, and another said he came out at short notice for a lighting fault and fixed it the same visit. Work such as an EICR, a Hive thermostat, an EV charger, extra sockets and a bathroom fan replacement was reported as done to a good standard, and one reviewer said the van was left in perfect order after a caravan check. One reviewer said that snags and hold-ups during a full house rewire were worked around, and another described charges as very reasonable. No material criticism was reported.
George carried out our EICR professionally and to a high standard. I can, without any doubt, recommend George. He has a deep understanding of electrical codes and safety measures, really valuable knowledge when working to certification for our holiday let cottage. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the bill. It was a very reasonable price. Thank you so much George. Alison, Rosewood cottage
George helped us with a variety of electrical needs and I would happily recommend him to anyone.
I cannot praise George enough. Excellent communication, booked a date for him to come and carry out a check on our static caravan, he got a cancellation and came a week early, you would not have known they had been with the van left in perfect order. You want electrical work doing in Brid then this is the go to company for sure. We will certainly use again.
I had a Hive Thermostat and controls installed by George who was very polite and approachable, he did a great job in keeping his working area clean and all for a very reasonable price. I am really pleased with the way the system works with my oil fired boiler which is much better than my old fiddly timer. Thankyou.
Prompt, efficient and polite! Would highly recommend
We can’t thank George enough for coming out on an SOS at very short notice because our entire upper floors lighting had a problem. He came found the fault which was minor and fixed it there and then - what a relief to have found such a prompt and trustworthy electrician! Thanks again George you will always be the first we call from now on!
I highly recommend E & G Electrical Contractors We had a major renovation along with a complete rewire of our house George is the ultimate professional, he provided us with excellent advice when we discussed what we wanted, plugs, lights, TV, internet, etc., and where to put them. He delivered a very reasonable quote and then delivered the final product to our complete satisfaction As with all renovations there are snags and hold ups, but George and his team ware able work around all the chaos, and our changes of mind and new ideas with effortless good grace and efficiency E & G are an extremely friendly and helpful company, to repeat my earlier comment, I highly recommend them and if I could give more than 5 stars I would
I needed an outside plug fitting for a hot tub that I was having installed at my caravan. I was recommended E&G Electrical Contractors and the service that George and his team provided was second to none. He came out to the van at short notice to look at what was required and gave a quotation and agreed a day for the works to be carried out. George was very reliable, turned up when he said he would and left the van as he found it. He even messaged to ensure that the electrics were all ok on hot tub installation day. I would definitely recommend giving him a call for any electrical work you need carrying out.
