Steve sorted all of the electrical aspects to our bedroom renovation. Clear communication, punctual and friendly. We’ve used Dexter electrical services before and would do so again!

Steve did an excellent job in replacing 30 years old electrical main switc board with the new RCBO ones. He is very professional, first gives the quotes and once we accept then gives the appointment date . He was on time and completed the work, I am happy with the service provided.

Steve did an excellent job to replace an old fuse board with a modern consumer unit - he arrived on time, completed the work on time & left everything clean & tidy. During the testing of the house's electrics he also found a faulty immersion heater, so good to know as that will need replacing! He was also able to fit an outdoor wall socket during the same job. I would definitely recommend him.

Steve recently completely rewired our kitchen. He was cheerful, punctual, tidy and did an excellent job throughout. Friendly, fast, efficient and clean. This just about sums it up, Steve was open, honest and responsive and did the work with little fuss. The end results was clean and exactly what we asked for. We had new sockets wired in our garage and an external light rewired.

Steve has been my go to electrician for a while now. He is prompt, reliable, knowledgeable and highly competent. As a landlord I need trustworthy contracters and Steve is just that. I call or message with a problem and he sorts it fast and always at a good price. He has done lots of work at my own house as well from putting up lights and installing ring doorbells and cameras to putting in the electrics for my garden lodge. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.

Steve was fantastic! He replaced our kitchen lighting with 5 down lights, he also chased two lots of wiring into our dining room. He arrived when he said, was very clean and tidy and kindly filled the chasing and ceiling holes. Highly recommend! Best electrician we’ve had and would certainly use again!

Steve did an excellent job fitting some plugs in our kitchen. Minimal disruption, he was really punctual and all round seems like a nice person. Steve has undertaken two projects for us recently - both of which we are delighted with. Initially he provided new sockets and wiring rerouting to accommodate a kitchen refresh coming up with suggestions for best access as well as a really good job. He has also just replaced our fuse box and tested the house wiring coming up with recommendations for adherence to new wiring standards. We are delighted with the way he has been prompt and interactive in what needs doing and would certainly be our first choice for any more electric work.

Steve came to us to install a couple of sockets, change some others and install a new consumer unit. When requested to view the work and give an estimate he was there the next day and we had the estimate two days later. he is very professional, prompt, does what he says and all his work is clean, neat and tidy - including clearing up afterwards. We have used Dexter Electrical Services for several household jobs over the past 6 years now. Steve is v reliable, always comes when he says he will, gets straight on with the job and knows what he is doing. Most recently used him for a complex electrical bathroom job where he had to liaise with the bathroom fitter to schedule first and second fit electrics. Found a way to avoid needing to replaster ceiling so v happy with that.

Great work from Steve at Dexter Electrical. He fitted and supplied new Spotlights for my Bedroom, Lounge and Bathroom with dimmer switches. He also fixed my bathroom extractor fan, put in new plug sockets in kitchen and put up an outside camera for me which I bought myself from Amazon and kindly showed me how to work it. Very tidy work and very helpful. He went above and beyond, couldn't recommend him enough. Thank you Steve.

I called Steve late one afternoon when a tenant in one of my flats lost all power because the RCD tripped and wouldn't clear. Steve came the following lunchtime and quickly identified the faulty electric shower switch. I have a number of flats and Steve has carried out EICR inspections on all of them as well as other jobs. I know I can rely on him to give an honest assessment and fix problems economically. I strongly recommend him
