Thunder Sparks Electrical

Thunder Sparks recently completed our solar and battery installation in Billericay using an Aiko and Sigenergy system, and we’re really pleased with the result. From the start, Jody and the team stood out in a very reassuring way. Jody took the time to explain everything clearly, answered our questions, and was never pushy. The installation was smooth, professional, and completed to a high standard. Highly recommend Thunder Sparks for anyone considering solar.

Very proficient and knowledgeable support for connecting a household ev charger

Edit: I previously used ThunderSparks in Billericay to put an EV point on my wall. I’ve now had a Solar PV storage system installed. The team were done quickly. My house is now operating off a cheap tariff and my installation by ThunderSparks was once again, a great experience. My entire home now runs on 7p/KWh, all day. Locally, they say they’re the best in Billericay… probably.

Low service! Low service! Low service!

We recently had solar panels installed at our newly built home in Billericay by ThunderSparks, and the whole experience was excellent from the very start. Jody and the ThunderSparks team were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain how the solar PV system and battery storage would work for our house, costs and returns. They were also the only ones who were willing to fit the system to a seam roof and do different roof orientations. It seems theres two type of installers. The ones who can (Thundersparks) and the ones who only want to do roof hooks and brackets. The installation itself was clean, tidy and very professional. The team arrived on time, completed the solar installation and left everything clear - when building a home you start to notice builders who leave stuff behind! They also handled the MCS paperwork, commissioning and system setup, which made the whole process very easy for us. (and left a nice little gadget so I never lose the documents) Since the install we’ve been generating a lot of our own electricity and even exporting some back to the grid. It’s great seeing the system producing power on sunny days. Mildly addictive. If you’re looking for reliable solar installers in Billericay or anywhere in Essex, I would highly recommend ThunderSparks. Professional, knowledgeable and clearly very experienced with solar panel installations.

Joe is an absolute professional when it comes to electrics! He saved the day when we thought our whole house may have needed rewiring but instead he reassured us it was a lose wire and managed to fix the issue very swiftly. Highly recommend!

Jody was great, really friendly and very helpful. The team had the issues with our solar panel box solved promptly. We would definitely recommend them.

Great work, great price, great ethos, great name. Joey even brought our amazon delivery in.. Jokes aside, cannot rate these guys high enough.

Excellent job, no issues, any questions are easily explained. Happy customer

Absolutely fantastic service.. From Emergency call to fully fitted new fuse board in 24hrs!! 100% Recommend Thank you Thundersparks x

A team of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful engineers. Highly recommended.

Fantastic, clean , efficient and very experienced

Excellent Work by Thunder Sparks Thunder Sparks recently upgraded our consumer unit and completed all the electrical work for our home sauna. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, reliable, and efficient. The workmanship was top-notch, and they left the site clean and tidy, which we really appreciated. A special mention to Jody, who was not only highly skilled but also very personable — he took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Thunder Sparks to anyone looking for quality electrical work.

Thanks, Bert and Dan. You were brilliant. You were patient in explaining the answers to my (probably ridiculous) questions. You were thorough and tidy, got the job done and are really nice guys. I will 100% recommend you.

Very happy with the team from Thunder Sparks who were very helpful and knowledge in helping resolving my issue with my solar PV system. They were timely, sorted the problem and the workmanship was good.

Excellent job done by a great team at a reasonable price. Prompt, fast, tidy, - what more can you ask. I'm delighted to recommend Thundersparks.

Great service and a lovely group of installers. Polite, tidy and really efficient. Would highly recommend. Love our solar thank you!

The whole team from ThunderSparks are amazing, really professional, polite and tidy work ! They have been out to us previously for domestic work and when we decided to look into a solar installation they were our first choice. They quoted and when we gave them the go ahead they were fast to commit to an installation date. The result is a happy household with a very nice PV installation adding self sustaining power to the home, with less dependence on the grid 😊. Highly recommended for any electrical needs 👍

Really good to find a excellent electrician. On time, helpful, friendly and did our two jobs without and mess. Good value too. Recommended

We dealt with Jody and Evren, who were courteous, helpful and responsive throughout. Our problem related to a solar power installation, which the original electrical contractors did not wire properly. Even though Jody and Evran' s business was not responsible for this, they took on the remedial work and fixed it in a morning. The developer/original contractor had failed to accept responsibility for the defective work over a period of nearly six months. We would not hesitate to use Thunder Sparks again.

Every now and then you meet a genuine tradesman/professional who instills you with confidence and relief! I just met this gentleman. Excellent in every respect.

Great service, fanatic work

efficient helpful service would use again

All a bit strange really. After confirming our project would fit into our respective mutual timeframes, we arranged for Jody to come around and survey our house. Jody spent a good hour at our home and came up with some helpful suggestions. Jody said his quote would be with us within the next 3 days. 12 days later…….diddly squat. I’ve even sent a chase up email and text but no response of any kind. Other than gaining a few helpful suggestions, I just felt my time was wasted. I would have rated one star, but as I stated above, Jody was a nice guy and provided some helpful advice. UPDATE 27/04/23 How bizarre, I have received all emails apart from the one you stated was sent to me on 15/04/23. I would also point out that I received no responses to my chase-up text and email both sent on 21/04/23. As previously mentioned, Jody confirmed our project would fit into our respective mutual timeframes at the time of his site visit. I would rather companies just say if they don’t wish to/ don’t have the time to undertake the work or something bigger, better or more lucrative has come up.

Recently had Thunder Sparks install solar PV and storage batteries at our home. Very professional, knowledgeable, fair pricing and a pleasure to deal with. Solar is in a lot of demand with current high energy prices. If you are planning on an install, and these guys can fit you in, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We used Thundersparks when we had an emergency. Jody came when he said he would and even waited around until our plumber could come to ensure that he they could investigate the issue together. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Punctual and responsive.

Thunder Sparks Ltd, fitted us a battery ready Solar Panel system. Joe and his team were superb, very professional, knowledgeable and meticulous in their work. We were particularly impressed at how access to the panels from pigeons and squirrels was addressed by placing protective wiring all around the panels. We have a very old house which meant the electrical wiring of the system was not straight forward. The cause was quickly identified and sorted and our panels are up and running. We are delighted with the service we received and would recommend Thunder Sparks with no hesitation.

Thunder Sparks recently advised, designed and installed a solar pv system with battery storage and EV charger. I felt confident that we were getting the best system for our needs rather than just being sold any old system. Very helpful and professional from start to finish. The system is up and running and we are really pleased with it. Thank you!

Had an issue with a circuit in our flat and Thunder Sparks came out next day. Both the gents who came to fix the issue were professional and courtious and made time to answer all my questions and make it clear what the issue was. Problem was fixed quickly and all the areas were left tidy. Excelllent Service!

We wanted to purchase a home battery storage unit and Thunder Sparks were recommended by the battery company as an accredited installer, from the very first contact with Jody and his team of super sparkies to the final install everything went very quickly (less than 2 weeks) and extremely smoothly, it was a pleasure to have such professional tradesmen in the house, everyone was very friendly and respectful a pleasure to do business with, highly recommended and will remember for all future electrical works, BRILLIANT

Very pleased with this business. We got a great service. Will call them first when we need anything electrical.

Jody was punctual, well presented and polite which created a good first impression. He explained exactly what needed to be done and also informed me of the Fan he would be installing. As this was a rental property and I wasn’t in attendance on installation day Jody sent me a video showing the work had been carried out and the fan in action. My experience of Thunder sparks was very positive and I have no problem in recommending them to friends and family for any work that may come up.

Joe and Bart were two really likeable blokes who worked really well . There work skills were evident from the start and were totally professional in all they did .I would have no problem using them again and can highly recommend them . Thanks for doing a great job for us.

Provided EICR report and did associated corrections. Was a good service with good communication and did what was necessary rather than go for the easy ride. Was timely and polite and got everything done on time and for a fair price. I'd highly recommend if you want a decent good value service that you know will be safe!!!

Joe provided us with a highly professional service from start to finish, not to mention an extremely friendly guy. Lights look great - thank you! Will certainly use this service again.

Excellent job, performed swiftly and at a very good price. Thank you!

Joe was on time, friendly and quick! Would definitely recommend and use again

Absolutely perfect responsive and professional service. Top company.

Brilliant job. Service with a smile. Very professional and stayed till job was finished and they cleaned up after themselves. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend.

From start to finish we have found Jody to be a true professional to deal with. The quality of workmanship second to none, with every detail taken care of. Its so reassuring to know that your home and requirements are in safe hands.. would recommend Jody and his company to anyone. Jon & Deb (Billericay)
