My dealings with Deltic from start to finish was excellent. I received a quote within 48hrs and once accepted arranged the installation within 2 weeks. The electrician Mark was genuinely interested in getting things right and despite there being difficulties not anticipated like cupboard space and the right glands he & the support team at the office dealt with it immediately. I would recommend and will use again in the future

This is the second time we've used Deltic Electrics and both times have been first class. More recently we needed a utility room grid switch replaced (the old switch was temperamental which affected the operation of the washing machine! Frustrating!). We also needed electric light switches replaced. Everything was carried out quickly and efficiently by the engineer.

The installation of my EV charger was carried out in 5 hours without fuss and without mess. The ordering system was straightforward and the team arrived fully briefed and with all necessary equipment. This was in total contrast to the Octopus Team who had originally been tasked with the installation but appeared unprepared, not properly briefed and not in possession of all necessary equipment. (They were not invited to return).

The electrician took the time to explain the works to be completed in detail, which I really appreciated. I had one of Deltics electricians out and I just had to share that he was super friendly, professional & thoughtful. Always anxiety inducing allowing strange men in, however he was warm and smiley and I wasn't worried at all- I was impressed about how considerate he was working around the property whilst my toddler slept, also having worked the night shift I don’t think he realised how much I appreciated such a stress free interaction. I used Deltic to replace some broken lights in a rental property I am at distance to. They were quick and efficient, with suggested replacements and before and after photos which was really helpful. I'll use them again I can't fault the service and the price was competitive.

Got a fault find service, person on the phone said it would take 30 mins, which it did. Charged for one and a half hours. They started charging from when the electrician parks up outside, in my case 20 mins before he entered the house. Edit after reply: They did not follow up with me. Their quote for earthing problem was £200 more than the company I used.

Didn't arrive to conduct the survey on time. Poor communication throughout and have yet to respond to emails after 4 weeks. Quote was very reasonable though and detail of work was good. Shame it wasn't quite what I wanted.

We used Deltic Solutions to fit an EV charger to our home. The project was slightly tricky as the property is Grade 2 listed and in a conservation area so they needed to be particular in how the installation was carried out. We found them easy to deal with throughout, the quality of the work exceptional, and the speed of service excellent. They came recommended to us by a letting agent friend who uses them in his professional work and it is clear why he was happy to point us in their direction.

The engineer did a great job and our intention was to get him back for some other jobs, which he had taken notes off. But will not be doing that because the service gotten from the rest of the team was very poor. And not all the job I had wanted was completed. Quoted only partly what I had asked and didn't communicate they could not achieve all I had requested, when they called me several times chasing for the job. Despite I had told the customer service lady I wanted the Aerial taken down. I got quoted only cables taken off. Fine I missed it, thanks to my chaotic life but it would have been great if I was told verbally just as I did when I requested the service quote on the phone. An oversight from my part for missing that in the quote but doesn't look good from your end. You were kin to get the job and called me several times but didn’t think it was relevant to tell me the engineer could not take down the aerials, which I specifically asked for and sent you pictures. Offering me few pounds off doesn't do anything for me. What I wanted done wasn't fully achieved. The exact floodlight I wanted was not fixed but I accepted a different type because I just wanted it done with. Clearly. The work done securing the around the blank plate is also not durable.

We were very happy with the service- the work was professionally completed. Mark was polite, friendly, careful, tidy and we felt the quality of his workmanship was very good. Price for services was competitive and fair.

Deltic installed a new induction hob in the kitchen, new down lights and an extractor fan in the bathroom, including core drilling the wall. The whole experience was very easy and stress free. I found them very professional from initial engagement to installation. I was consulted on exactly where and how I wanted things done and I’m very pleased with the standard of work completed. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend them again. Update 14/01/25 - Since my initial engagement and review I have gone on to use Deltic several times, they are my go to electricians. They’ve installed a new consumer unit, electricity to my small outbuilding, several lights, extraction in the kitchen, positive input ventilation in the loft/hall and even a video doorbell. I’ve always found them great to deal with, nothing is too much trouble and they are flexible and considerate around timings. I’ve never had to question the quote, it’s always clearly itemised, competitive and there are no hidden costs. If I want to add anything to or take anything off the quote, no problem. Given they are my go to electricians it goes without saying that the work they do is also to a high standard; I’m particular, so trust me. Mark has done most of the work at the property and he’s been great. He always discusses the work with me beforehand to make sure we are on the same page. If he can see a potential problem he’ll discuss the plan and if he thinks we might need to tweak things. If he encounters any unforeseen problems then he’s good at adapting, and again always discusses it with me before he goes ahead to make sure I’m onboard. I like the peace of mind I get with Deltic. I have enough things to juggle so it’s nice to use a company and know that I’m going to get what I want at a fair price, hassle free.

Today I had an excellent experience with Mike at Deltic Solutions. They came to fix the lighting and extractor fan in my bathroom after cowboys left us without electricity. Worst company ever. I would show photos but it’s insulting. They can do any work. But can’t sign it off. So they do a cowboy job and then when you get someone to sign it they can’t because it’s dodgy work. Yeeehaa

Deltic have just upgraded the distribution board in my daughters new flat. The price was fair and Mark who performed the installation was fantastic and did an extremely professional job. I would very much recommend them.

New induction hob installation necessitated additional dedicated circuit and larger capacity and up to date consumer box with MCB and surge protection. From my initial approach to Deltic through to installation I found them to be ultra professional and customer focused. They also managed to pull out the stops for my short schedule requirement. Was midway through some garden works when it transpired that some of our electrics in the conservatory were, dodgy to say the least. Deltic offered advice and a quote for someone to visit the next day. Work carried out was fantastic, quick and was an overall delightful experience.

What a great team, from the back end staff to the engineers, same day response, same day quote, and even same day Fix. I needed some light switches changing from 3way to 1 way and a smart switch installing. The guys came round, ensured they put on overshoes to protect my carpet, which I really appreciated as I just had new carpet installed, took a look, spoke to the office, they sent me an email with a quote to approve and they sorted it there and then, Job done! Deltic was hired by my landlord to fit some new heaters in my rental property, and they could not have chosen a better company. Jessica who has been my liaison for the work is absolutely lovely and so very helpful, and Barry and Lee that came to do the work were just fantastic. They could not have been more friendly and efficient. They did a great job, Barry explained all of the functions of the heaters to me, and they cleaned up any mess after the work. This may not be important to most, but on top of doing a good job, Barry and Lee made me laugh, which, when you are in a house with two trades people you have never met before just makes the whole process nicer and the day fly by.

We needed an electrician as the power was out to the kitchen. We had been let down by 2 previous companies who said they would do the work and then made excuses. The work then became very urgent to complete. Deltic Solutions were sympathetic to our situation and sent someone out on the same day to assess the work and then carried out the work within 2 business days. The 2 electricians who came and did the work were professional, worked without a break and gave a good explanation of the work that they had completed. Also, they all this for a lower price than the other 2 companies who reneged from doing it. I would thoroughly recommend Deltic and would definitely use them again.
