Hook Carpentry

Kevin has done three jobs for us over the years all of which have been excellent. Kevin’s recent work to refurbish the stairs has transformed the stairway. I would highly recommended Kevin.

Kevin has worked diligently to rectify squeaking floorboards in a number of rooms in our house before new carpets and wooden floors are laid. He has done a really professional job which I am sure he would do on any bespoke carpentry jobs he might undertake. He is very polite, a good time keeper and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services. When he has completed a days work he is meticulous in tidying up before leaving.

Kevin fitted some new oak doors at our house. He was professional and took good care of our home, he worked in a very tidy way and the result is excellent. Thank you Kevin.

Kevin has recently fitted a dozen internal doors for us. He has done an excellent job - he is diligent and hardworking, with a great attention to detail. We thoroughly recommend his services.

Kevin has just finished a job at ours which included replacing 12 upstairs wardrobe doors and replacing and adding coving and skirting to some bedrooms. His work is of a very high standard and we are absolutely thrilled with the workmanship. Kevin works incredibly hard to achieve a result which is first class. We cannot fault his professionalism or ability. Thank you Kevin so much.

Kevin has completed a number of projects for us over the years from new banisters, internal doors and a unique storage unit. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, great attention to detail.

Kevin is reliable and very competent with his carpentry. He did some very specific and detailed work on window sills and external doors on our very old building. He was punctual and tidy and took care of the surroundings. We are engaging him for more work later in the year. Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent service. Good timekeeping. Kevin has done a sterling job. Tidy. Competitively price. Work completed to a high standard. The master at work.

Kevin always does an amazing job! His craftmanship is just outstanding and his ability to fulfill the brief too. I love my new shoe shelf!

Kevin spent 3 days installing laminate flooring in my lounge, dining room and hall. Excellent job done transformed the downstairs. So happy I've asked him to do the upstairs now. Hard working and professional and friendly, I would recommend Hook Carpentry to anyone looking for a quality job.

Kevin built some shelving, a media unit and a wardrobe for us. He had great attention to detail, was very tidy and timely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Fantastic service from Kevin. Couldn't be happier with the unit he built for me. The quality is better than I could have hoped for and Kevin's professionalism is second to none. Would wholeheartedly reccomend and use Kevin again in the future.

Kevin designed and built a be-spoke media unit for us which we then had spray painted. He did an excellent job. Very professional, would highly recommend.

Kevin’s attention to detail, work ethic, and professionalism are excellent. He created cupboards under the stairs, shelving for three alcoves, and an under-the-sink cupboard in our cloakroom. Everything he did was thought through and crafted; cleaning up at the end of each day and always arriving on time. We now have more than enough storage space and will certainly be using Hook Carpentry’s services in future.

Kevin installed 14 x internal doors for us. He is meticulous in his work and his attention to detail has meant the doors have been fitted to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend Kevin for all carpentry work and we will have him back for additional work in the future. Kevin is also a thoroughly nice chap and our dog took a particular shine to him, probably recognising his calm nature!

Kevin of Hook Carpentry has done two items of work for us, The first was to change an opening door into a sliding door which he did very efficiently and quickly. The second job Kevin did was to build fitted wardrobes in our second bedroom from scratch. It was a long run and included hanging space and shelf space. Kevin was very professional and guided us to make the right decisions and we are delighted with the end result. He was a very clean and tidy worker and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

We use Hook Carpentry for all are carpentry requirements. Kevin is a pleasure to work with. Punctual, tidy and standard of work is excellent. So far Kevin has replaced 2 sets of banisters with lovely oak ones. Replaced under stair cupboard in oak. Built a bespoke oak radiator cover and replaced all our internal doors. We now recommend Hook Carpentry to family and friends. Hook Carpentry came highly recommended by 3 different sets of friends (known of which knew each other). I am so pleased we went with the recommendation.
