I recently hired Carl Dingle Builders to carry out the complete demolition of an old garage, full garden site clearance, and levelling of the ground ready for my new Garden Office installation. Carl was extremely professional from the very first contact. He came well prepared, brought an excellent team, and took full control of the project from start to finish. Even though the start date had to be brought forward at short notice, Carl made it happen without any fuss and ensured everything ran smoothly. The demolition itself was a challenging job — the old garage had very deep foundations and even included a steel girder that needed to be removed and disposed of. Carl arranged the right plant and equipment (including a mini digger) and the work was completed safely and efficiently. What really impressed me was Carl's attention to detail. He carefully checked the Garden Office installation plans at every stage, took accurate measurements, and made sure the finished site was perfectly level and ready for the next phase. Throughout the work he kept costs firmly under control and stayed well within my limited budget. The whole team was tidy, considerate, and respectful of my property. The site was left clean and safe every day. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend Carl Dingle Builders. We needed a building job done urgently and asked Carl if he could fit it in. He came over promptly, offered suggestions about what was required and the costs involved. Once we appointed him, he went to buy the materials and started the job the next Monday. He got on with the job in no time, worked diligently and expertly and within 4 days it was all done! We are very pleased with the results and it was a pleasure to see such neat work carried out without any mess. Carl is a pleasure to have around the house and we wouldn't hesitate to ask him again, should we need more building work done.
Carl and his team did a fantastic job on an old, drab, outdated loft conversion. The room had not been touched in 20 years, but they stripped it back to bare rafters and built it back up again from scratch. The finish is lovely, and in keeping with the rest of the house, so it all flows. The team was professional at all times and open to discussion and input, as we went along if things needed to change slightly. It now looks modern and fresh, and my daughter loves it. The red images are before, and the white/cream images are after.
Carl was great from start to finish. From the initial coming over to quote the work we wanted done he was happy to share ideas from previous jobs and give us alternative options on how we could modernise our home. Carl and his team removed a supportive wall separating our kitchen and dining room. Whilst also blocking up a back door and making it a window and blocking up two side windows and making the outside match the pebbledash of the house. They were on time every day and couldn’t be friendlier. At the end of every day they left the house tidy especially given the amount of dust created on the day the wall came down. Can’t fault the work done, everything has been finished off really neatly. I’d highly recommend Carl to anyone wanting work carried out and I will certainly be calling him next time I need something done.
