Berry Construction converted our loft in the summer of 2023. After being let down by another builder, Berry Construction took on our conversion quickly and we are extremely pleased they did. The build quality was extremely high, the team was knowledgable and we are very happy with the results. They gave us sound advice which we are pleased we took. Also during the build the neighbours commented on how polite and nice the builders were, which is fantastic to hear! Would recommend.
Dan and his team have been working on our overdue staff kitchen refit this summer. I can heartily recommend Berry Construction. Dan's communication from before the job was confirmed right through to the post fit updates, has been faultless, along with the communications from the team onsite. I have never seen a quotation like the one I had from Dan: it actually explained clearly how he reached his numbers and gave me great confidence in the person I was dealing with. The quality of the work is excellent. Eugene project managed beautifully and was a pleasure to have in the practice. We found Berry Construction through recommendations on the FB Epsom and Ewell Families group. After umming and ahhing over a loft extension for 5 years, we took the plunge with them because Dan was unfailingly polite, prompt, communicative, detail-oriented, and honest, which wasn't our experience with the other building companies we'd had quotes from. It was important to us that we trusted Dan and his team, after all, they were going to be in our space for a few months. They did a brilliant job with our loft, advising us how to maximise the space and light. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them (and have done). If we had the money for a rear extension we'd be booking them in!
We found Dan's details on the Epsom & Ewell Families website when we were weighing up whether or not to buy a house in Epsom that hadn't been renovated since the 70s and needed a lot of work! Dan was very responsive and came to view the house with us to give lay people his expert opinion on our largest ever and riskiest purchase! He was extremely helpful in chatting through the work and even went as far as to provide an estimate into how much the potential work may cost. We built this into our budget and have now submitted planning. Dan's company have done a fantastic loft conversion for us. The workmanship is excellent, and communication was straightforward and responsive. Dan helped us navigate things like parking restrictions and when some inevitable unexpected extra works came to light Dan gave us plenty of notice and clear explanation and costings so we could understand and manage everything well. All of Dan's team were friendly and highly respectful. Really helpful also in helping us make some choices when we weren't certain of the best options to go for, eg: type of shower door and flooring etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Berry Construction.

Having already done one loft conversion on a terraced house in Clapham using one of the pile-'em-high-sell-'em-cheap outfits, we decided we wanted to work with a builder more concerned with doing a quality job than stripping everything out and keeping the price rock bottom and maximising their cut. We did our research to make sure we made the right decision and chose Berry after a number of conversations with various conversion companies. The price was fair for the work to be done and in line with other quotes we received. Dan was very personable, knowledgeable and brought various members of the build team round to see the job before they began to ensure we could achieve the result we wanted, set our expectations and make sure everyone was clear on how the build would develop. We liked that they are a small tight-knit team and got to know them all very well. The fact they turned up every day for the entire build was a promising sign and set them well apart from the last team we worked with. They also gave us a lot of time and support during the build, accommodated a number of design tweaks and even came up with a few very sensible changes of their own. They used better quality materials than we were used to from the last project and the work done by all the trades - carpentry, roofing, plastering, plumbing and electrics - is excellent. All the guys who worked on the project were friendly, courteous, skilled and regularly went the extra mile to make it a more pleasant experience and help us achieve a quality and long-lasting result. We would engage them again without hesitation and certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal touch, reliability and high quality construction at a reasonable price.
Dan and his team converted our loft in Streatham Hill a few years ago. They did a brilliant job and we are totally satisfied with the work. It is not unusual for people to look at the unusual triangular window at the front of the house and comment positively. Everything was done to a high standard and the guys were all consummate professionals with a real pride in their work. A couple of years later Berry replaced some windows (nothing to do with the loft) and again we were really happy. The windows were not straightforward and I could not praise them more highly. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
An incredible eye for detail was what impressed me most for example matching the spindles at the bottom of the house with the loft conversion so that there was a real flow to the house. All workmen were professional, approachable and keen to please. Good value as the loft conversion looks as fresh today as when it was installed. We have used Berry Construction to do our loft conversion in Tooting through a recommendation and were left very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of the builders: Tomas was very attentive to our needs and even tried to work around nap time of our 1 year old boy not to make too much noise. Giacomo have constantly updated us with his regular emails on the progress and gave us sufficient advise on the choices of specific product we had to make. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend this company.
Dan and the team completed a full house renovation and loft extension and went the extra mile in all areas. The work was impeccable, completed ahead of schedule and with Dan and the others coming up with some great innovative ideas on the build structure and finish. Hugely engaging and personal approach by Dan and Giacomo - we've used them to effectively redo 5-bed mid-terrace in stages (loft conversion, re-roofing, bathrooms, ground floor renovation, etc.) and are our go-to for all building matters - have just moved houses and plan to use them again!
Berry Construction recently converted our 2 bed victorian terrace into a three bed and redecorated existing bedrooms and repointed the front of the house. Throughout the process Mr Berry was pro active in communicating the progress of the project with updates and alerting us to the next steps. The work was to a high standard and came in below other quotes. Any change in variable costs were emailed over by his helpful assistant to forewarn us and with rationale as to their movement. We shall use Berry Construction again and frequently recommend them to friends and family.
I was put in touch with Daniel from Berry construction through friends who highly recommended him. I required a complete new roof on my commercial premises. Daniel offered me various options along with a very detailed quotation. I instructed Daniel as he gave me confidence through the planning process and his quotation was very reasonable. He was thorough with updates and communication through the whole project and i am absolutely delighted with the end result.
Dan was extremely helpful for us earlier this year when we were in the process of buying a house. We had had an offer accepted on a house but brought Dan in to do some due diligence on the roof. Berry Construction (UK) did some maintenance on our Clapham flat in preparation for new tenants. We are very happy with the quality of work and the helpful and punctual nature of the decorator. We had a short timescale with the old tenants moving out and the new tenants moving in and Dan was extremely helpful getting the work done in time. The quality of the work was excellent, and best of all the decorator was extremely professional and very organised. He secured the paint, brought all the right tools and was very clean and tidy. Would definitely use Dan and Berry Construction again.
