Great job by Spires interiors at our property. Jack, our installer, was great, and though there were some technical problems with the installation of the flooring of our new bathroom, they sorted us out quickly and efficiently.
They came to price for a bathroom install, the guy that came round he asked to use are Toliet wich we allowed. this led me to believe he didn’t understand plumbing that well as he managed to block my Toliet not tell me and leave shortly afterwoods
High standard of kitchen fitting. I am really pleased with the finished result. Communication was regular, informative and professional.

We had our kitchen completely remodelled and what can we say. The planning was fitted around our schedules, the guys who attended were friendly and highly skilled, and the company checked in regularly to see how we were as the process went on. We couldn't be happier with the result, months of planning and our vision came into fruition thanks to their expertise. We highly recommend their services. 5 stars!!
The whole team at Spires provided excellent service in regards to redoing our bathrooms. We were incredibly happy with the design process with Claude then when Ben and the team did the work they were efficient and incredibly professional. Could not be happier with the results and would 100% recommend.
We needed some fitted furniture to help with storage in two small awkward shaped bedrooms. From the first visit to the showroom we were impressed with the personal service and interest shown by Claude in getting the project right for us. Suggestions were really helpful and designs tweaked easily. The install was exactly on time, all the staff were friendly and took great care to protect the rest of our home and always left everything tidy. We are delighted with the finished result, high quality and installed with care. Communication through the project was excellent with frequent checking in from Stacey and Margaret to make sure everything was going smoothly. The personal service was really appreciated and meant we didn’t have to worry about anything. I couldn’t recommend Spires highly enough, thank you so much!
This was a fantastic makeover of our kitchen from shabbily to out of this world. The work took no time at all 5 weeks in total. The rip out and in stall followed works schedule spot on even when the floor had to be self levelled. The trade staff were of the highest standard and I’ve been in the business for some 30 years. The build standard of the kitchen is really good. One of the Spires team came round to fix in location all the units to the kitchen ensuring everything fitted together and was flush to fit. The sub contractors were equally as diligently with their work. All of the staff are so helpful, easily approachable.. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a new kitchen.
I have used Spires Interiors in conjunction with Wickes Colchester (Designer was Andrew Lovlee). Having a new kitchen designed and installed is always going to be a stressful and expensive experience, however i must say that from the moment that Andrew started working with us through to Spires starting the works, through to completion, working with these guys has been an absolute breath of fresh air. The project was managed with total professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail. I would 100% recommend working with Andrew Lovlee from Wickes in Colchester and Spires Interiors.
The whole team at spires were amazing when fitting our kitchen. a big thanks to Cody, Ben and Laurel who were always prompt, friendly and considerate of our house. everything was always left clean and always well explained if any changes or adjustments were needed. so pleased with our kitchen and the standard of work!!
By far the best quality of work I’ve seen. I had an en-suite renovated through Wickes. Stacey and Ben were amazing the whole way through the project. Highly recommend their professionalism and craftsmanship.
Spires did a super job of putting in an entire office space in our new house - new desk & shelving in the workspace, and floor to ceiling storage and shelving elsewhere. From the initial ideas phase through to the installation, the process was well-managed, and the end result was excellent. This is the second time we’ve used Spires and would happily use them again and recommend to others.

Spires built and installed some fitted cupboards and shelves for us and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the start they were really helpful and thorough making sure we were happy with the design and the materials. They also made sure the shelves were finished in time for a party we were hosting which we really appreciated. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional and I love our new shelves. This is a Company that make dreams come true! We asked Stephen to come round with a view to him fitting a new kitchen for us and as we were chatting he mentioned how great it would be to knock out a wall and create a huge space for a family kitchen/dining room, complete with one wall of glass doors overlooking our garden!! Amazing!! this was our dream but we didn't think it was something we could do, having been put off by other people we had had in to talk about it! Stephen put together a plan, within our budget and then the magic began! his team are all, without exception, true craftsmen! they care about the work they're doing, they care about the customer and more importantly they want to do a good job!! They were respectful of our home whilst the work was being done and were courteous and polite whenever they were talking to us! The end result was a fantastic new family room, far exceeding what we were hoping for! We cannot praise this Company enough, Stephen for his original idea and his dream team crew for bringing it to life for us!! I am delighted to be able to leave them an excellent review and would recommend them (and have done) to anyone considering having any work done. Having to replace both kitchen and bathroom following a flood Steven Spires was the approved project manager. From the very first meeting he gave us confidence and his expertise was extremely reassuring. From the start to the finish the team were so professional, the many contractors were always respectful and friendly. We didn’t have to worry about anything Steven was always available if there were questions and he was very supportive. We are delighted with the kitchen and bathroom. Thank you so much.

Hi All, Spires have just completed our bathroom , what a team , from the people in the office to all the trades people, the service was outstanding. I must give a mention to the main trade person JACK. As a retired carpenter & joiner myself , i have to say his work was of a standard i haven't seen in years, very good. As we are in our seventies, we find it difficult to move around, but Jack took time in making sure the shower tray was as low as possible and all the way through the job, he reassured us, and nothing was to much for him to do for us. All the trades people were polite, happy to help, and nothing was to much for them. To end , i have not come across a company like this in years , they are so good, i would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a good jobs with no problems, that they were unable to sort out. We've just had our second bathroom completed by Spires Interiors and we remain very happy with the end to end service provided. The design process helped us to quickly decide what we wanted and the installation team were brilliant. Great communication throughout the whole process. Would definitely use again!
Spires Interiors have undertaken toilet, bathroom, bedroom and door replacement work for us. Variously when each of the separate work was in progress the staff were very good. Particularly, the staff arranging the work from the office, who continuously monitored who was doing what, where and when. And, importantly making sure you were happy with what they were doing. If there was a problem with anything, and in this day and age there's plenty of that, then the proprietor himself would do his best to resolve anything to your satisfaction, not his. All in all Spires Interiors tick the boxes for overall service and ability.
Excellent advice throughout my entire kitchen installation nothing ever a problem the fitter are amazing as well very polite funny and professional the office was always at the end of the phone for me was updated with everything along the way Margaret must have got fed up with me in the end 🤣 would 100% recommend spires interiors and actually have to a couple of friend once again thank you so much.
Great service from start to finish. Office staff were very easy to contact by phone and email to sort out the questions that we had. All the tradespeople that visited were polite, helpful and explained everything clearly. They answered our questions and were very accommodating in terms of working around our availability. To top it off, they were the tidiest workers ever! We will definitely be considering using Spires again for other home renovation projects in the future.

Spires Interiors replaced our kitchen floor due to some previous issues. They made their recommendations to avoid the same thing happening and made a great job of our new floor. A very professional set up and I would highly recommend them.
I would really recommend Spires. They did two en-suites for us in the last 9 months that were in need of a makeover. The whole Spires team were brilliant. From initial meetings with the designer to the people on site, everyone was fantastic.

Spires have just completed a new kitchen with some additional works. A great experiance from start to finish, great planning from the office meant everyone was in the right place at the right time. The standard of work is extremely high with everyone wanting to acheive a qualiry finish. Particular thanks to 3 who did the bulk of the work really impressed and happy with the finish. Great workmanship from Spires Interiors. We recently had our bathroom replaced and love it. The guys worked really hard, always here on time and didn’t leave at the end of the day until they’d finished what they needed to do and had tidied up. They were good at offering ideas and ways round problems as they cropped up. We had a few tiny snags after installation and they were quick to respond and send someone out to resolve. They’ve restored our faith in builders and we’d definitely use them again. Hollesley Suffolk.
We had a small wall knocked out between our kitchen & dining room and a door blocked up between hall & kitchen. Walls & ceilings plastered then a beautiful Wren kitchen & appliances fitted. All works completed by Spires interiors. They kept us informed throughout. The fitters were all polite,courteous & professional throughout the installation. We are over the moon with the end result. We had a fantastic experience with the Spires team from the get go and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services for a second to anyone looking to carry out any home improvements with an expert and top quality finish (and we have already in fact recommended them to several neighbours!). We had new flooring laid, a new shower fitted and a complete refurb of our utility. There’s no hard sell or pressure, just really helpful advice and suggestions on how to best utilise space, colour schemes/finishes etc (and a whole lot more!) according to your budget. The whole team are great - Claude brought our vision to life (even when we weren’t really sure what we wanted!), Stacey and Margaret project managed everything brilliantly and kept us informed about what was happening when, and Stephen and his trade team were excellent - they turned up on time every day, were polite and respectful of our home, and made time to talk to us and answer any questions we had. They worked incredibly hard and were clearly very experienced - we have the joys of an old house which revealed a few of its lovely secrets along the way while the job was being carried out (damp, rot and general neglect), but the team always found a solution to whatever issue they encountered, talking us through options, how long it would take and if there was likely to be an additional cost). We’re delighted with the end result and can’t wait to work with Stacey and Stephen again in the future, they genuinely care about their customers and have been a pleasure to work with.
Oak and glass staircase refurbishment carried out by Spires interiors in November. Top quality craftsmanship performed punctually and professionally. All staff, office and craftsmen, polite and helpful. A bit of a wait from initial contact until commencement of installation (as quoted at outset) but then a quality job is worth the wait.
I couldn’t recommend Spires Interiors any more highly! We approached them to complete an en-suite bathroom renovation and their service has been impeccable at every part of the process. The showroom team helped us to select a great design. They listened to what we liked and didn’t and were able to present thoughts and recommendations which made it so much easier to make a decision. The project management team had everything lined up really well for the actual installation and everyone involved in it was excellent, being as clean and as least disruptive as possible. We would definitely used them again for future home improvement projects.

I ordered a complete new bathroom through Wicks Ipswich who were also amazing throughout, but the true heroes were Spire who I had as my fitters, I can't tell you how over the moon I am with my bathroom, the professionals service I received from Spire was second to none, they kept me in the loop every step of the way, were very organised, always on time or early and worked incredibly hard throughout, the quality of work is beautiful, can't recommend them enough! I would definitely use them again! One very happy customer!
We had an old bathroom ripped out and Spires provided the new flooring, tiling, circling and fixtures. The service was excellent at every step of the way, from sales through to completion. The property is over 100 years old, and so issues were discovered. The team were able to work around all of them to deliver on time. The quality of work was excellent, and time management to work around the issues was superb - the team handled everything. We’re very happy with the completed bathroom and would consider using spires for any other work.

Stephen and his team recently completed a total transformation of my old existing garage/utility space into an amazing annex. This was a project that was really important to me and if I'm honest one which I couldn't imagine would happen and be able to achieve the result I wanted. But I was wrong! Thanks to Stephen & team Spires! who I can honestly say bent over backwards to make this project work for me including accomodating my budget and having to do a lot of problem solving especially to make my old toilet space into a fully functioning wetroom ! Stephen always managed my expectations and reassured me when my anxiety got the better of me with such a big project but I can now say at the end of all this Spires have completely transformed my garage into what is now a beautiful usable space with living area, kitchen and wetroom. We recently used Spires via Wickes for the remodel of our bathroom. This included new plasterboard, extractor fan, spotlight, flooring, tiling and installation of new units etc. The team were amazing and communication was great throughout, we are so pleased with the end result and it’s been done to a high spec standard. In hindsight, I wish we had purchased our bathroom and gone direct to Spires for the installation work rather than going through Wickes as any issues that cropped up were as a result of wickes e.g delivery delays, missing/faulty items etc. If you’re considering using Spires, we’d highly recommend them. The whole team are friendly and approachable and should any unforeseen work arise (as they did with ours e.g. water damaged floor due to previous leaks) they will talk you through your options and make sure you’re happy before moving forward with the project. 5* company and team
Spires Interiors recently fitted and supplied two internal doors at our property. Whilst I’m aware that this is a relatively small project, I felt like I received the same level of professionalism, responsiveness and high level of service as any other customer, noting the high end/high spec projects Spires Interiors are clearly capable of and work upon at this time. In addition, I tasked with them undertaking this work during a very busy period (pre-Christmas) and they were most helpful at accommodating this. Stephen, Stacey and Cody were all a pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in both recommending them and using them again in the future. A throughly deserved 5* review!
Replacement of staircase and new wooden floor laid in hallway. Very impressed with the process from start to finish. Stephen was extremely helpful at the start of the project and was able to deliver the staircase we wanted, which other companies had claimed was not possible! We were kept informed at all stages of the process and work was carried out to a very high standard with minimal disruption. Everyone who worked on the project took great pride in the work they were undertaking. Adam who had to lay the new wooden floor was truly amazing. I would highly recommend Stephen and his team.
My wife and I used Spires Interiors to transform a large dated kitchen into a kitchen and living space. The work included underfloor heating, replacement flooring, kitchen and electrics. Spires were brilliant throughout and helped bring our vision to life. We live in an old Victorian house in Colchester, as such Spires faced various unknow challenges during the build, including rotten beams that needed replacing. Every hurdle was handled brilliantly by their professional team. Spires were also great to deal with throughout. There didn't seem to be anything Claude in their showroom didn't know about kitchens and he was always happy to talk through ideas and highlight potential pitfalls/concerns, backed by Stacey in support and management of operations and Stephen on the ground project managing. We met various members of their wider team throughout who were all skilled tradespeople who took great pride of their craft. I would happily recommend Spires Interiors to anyone that is looking for a new kitchen.

I purchased a kitchen through Wickes and they provided the installers which happened to be Spires, who have been faultless in every details. They were not cheap but every element of the work was scheduled by them and any changes in timescale were detailed as soon as they knew about any problems with delivery or any additional work identified. The installer who works full time for Spires was polite and very punctual, putting in long days in an attempt to complete the work to schedule. I would highly recommend this company and if we had known of them before entering into a contract with Wickes them we would have gone to spires first.

I cannot fault Spires. They did my bathroom. From start to finish were brilliant from Stacey in the office to David and apprentice Harry who fitted the bathroom. They were really professional and communication was excellent. They were also very tidy and cleaned up well every day. I will definitely use Spires again.
I am not usually one for writing reviews but you kind of feel obliged to with Spires Interiors. One of the most professional businesses I have had dealings with in a long time and I think other well known businesses could take a heed of Spires example with regards to professionalism, communication and standards of work. I have no hesitation in giving Spires a 5 star rating.
Superb workmanship and great customer service. Stacey has been very accommodating when ordering materials for the project and the team worked extremely hard. They were punctual, tidy and their finish product looks amazing.
We wanted to modernise our staircase and having received some ridiculously high quotes, by chance we found Spires Interiors. And we are so happy that we did! From the first engagement with Stephen it was obvious that customer service was a top priority to him and his attention to detail to ensure we got exactly what we wanted was outstanding. Stacey kept us informed throughout with phone calls and emails and the end result is stunning, our staircase and landing have been transformed and we love it. After one bespoke oak and glass staircase and one bespoke oak fitted wardrobe, we are still in awe of the quality of workmanship and the speed of installation. Steven and his merry men were on time, very tidy, very polite and tidied up afterwards. Totally brilliant service and have no hesitation in recommending them.
Spires have just supplied and hung 8 oak doors. The whole process was painless and Cody did a fantastic job.
We have just had our stairs completely revamped by Spires. Because of the lock-down it has been difficult to schedule trades but Stephen and Stacey have been able to work around that and been able to accommodate changes in schedules. The final result is beautiful, with great attention to detail in the final installation. I can thoroughly recommend the company.
We ordered our new kitchen through Wickes who arranged for it to be fitted by Spires Interiors. Everything was so well organised...kitchen rip out in the morning, gas (un)fitter In the afternoon, electricians the next day, plasterer the following day. After that the flooring went down and the cupboards and appliances went in. Every evening Stephen checked in to make sure we were happy with the work. The procession of tradesmen all knew exactly what they had to do and they got on with it, no fuss and lots of good humour. As soon as the work top was fitted by the manufacturers, Stephen and his lovely young colleague Cody were back to finish off. We are delighted with the finished kitchen. All costs were agreed in advance and kept to. I would definitely recommend Spires Interiors to anyone.
I was having a new kitchen through Wren who hired Spires as fitters. Despite everything with Corona, Spires kept in touch as we had to reschedule. I spoke a lot with Stephen who gave me clear options as the electrics of my old house would need to be overhauled. He didn't push the more expensive option on me. Even with a change to electrics needed, it took only about 4 days between the kitchen being removed and the new one put in. Andy also showed me what had been done and gave advice on how to care for my new worktops and new appliance. Would definitely recommend.

If you’re a cyclist, or care about human beings, do NOT give you’re money to this company. Just had one of their vans go past me giving about 10cm of room as they drove by at about 40mph... completely careless and reckless, with blatant disregard for human life. I’m somebody’s father, husband and son....
In April 2019 Spires Interior Ltd completed our kitchen/diner and downstairs cloakroom. We were very pleased with Stephen Spires and his team. Right through from the beginning to completion they were very professional and reliable. Communication was very good with Stephen keeping us well informed throughout. The quote was very detailed with no surprises and Stephen was always very clear about the costs throughout. Stephen was able to provide me with advice regarding any technical or design queries prior to and during the work. They were able to accommodate our dates and worked with efficiency to ensure a timely completion. The team were very friendly and tidy throughout the job. When we had a fault with our toilet flush the team returned quickly and fixed the toilet with new parts. The team were very skilled and the work was of a very high quality. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I contacted Spires Interiors about a job that I had been let down on by another supplier, needing it finished before Christmas and with only two weeks to spare. Their professionalism, speed and quality were unquestionable. I would have no issue recommending them and their excellent level of work.

I’ve just had Stephen fit a worktop to a kitchen island. The quality of his work was excellent and I’d definitely recommend him for his professional approach and prompt service.
If you are looking for a craftsmen who really cares about his work, you should speak to Stephen. He was in our house for a week doing our kitchen and his attention to detail and passion for getting it right is superb. It can feel as though people don't care sometimes, but Stephen was a welcome breath of fresh air and is determined to make it perfect. Steve was the third carpenter to give me a quote and he got what I wanted straight away. The others tried to sell me other ideas, but steve was on the ball. I had steep cottage stairs that I could not climb easily and made me feel disabled. After I had my new stairs installed I felt wonderful gliding up and down instead of staggering. Very happy with this job planning the next one now😃
