Rang this guy 2 day's ago, asked if he could fix a broken dishwasher. Told me how much it would all cost etc. I said that's fine when can you come out, he said haven't got my diary to hand. But if you text me your details I'll get back to you. 2 day's later plus another text haven't heard a word from him. If you don't want the job then say so. I'd avoid this guy at all costs.

AVOID ALAN AT ALL COSTS! 1 star is simply too kind for this waste of space. Where do I begin? My landlord contacted him 2 days ago in the morning to fix my oven, he texts late afternoon asking when I want him to come, I respond straight away, no reply for 2 hours, so I call him and he claims to have only just heard about the job (lies) in the last couple hours. For no reason he was cold, defensive, dismissive, didn’t care, couldn’t tell me anything without his diary (fine, I said call me when you have it in front of you) when I was simply trying to find out when he could come by. 3 hours later nothing… texted him again nothing. Next morning nothing. 24 hours after my initial phone call with him I raised it with my landlord cos I knew this was going to happen - could tell he was a wrong ‘un by our initial call - and my landlord had to chase him - how unprofessional and by this point even making my landlord look bad! - Alan then texts me in the evening yesterday asking if he can come today and gives me a pm 2 hour time slot. By this time I don’t want this man really in my property but say ok. Surprise surprise, he never shows and doesn’t reply to my messages. Not even a message to say sorry I am late/can’t make it!! Suffice to say we’ve now had to find another engineer, an actual professional, and I’ve been without an oven for 4 days. Absolutely disgraceful, unprofessional and disgusting! I’ve just come out of hospital very sick with no oven to have to deal with wasters like him who can’t be bothered to do his job? We won’t be using him and spreading bad word about him. The best bit is his brand name… “Relax repairs”… only person relaxed about his work is him clearly! Please avoid this idiot at all costs for the sake of your sanity.

We contacted Alan at relax repairs about our washing machine door being stuck (with all of our work clothes inside the machine) and he ordered the parts and fixed it for us literally the next day! Brilliant professional service at a reasonable price! Will definitely use him again in future for any repairs! Thanks for saving us!!

I Have used Relax Repairs twice now and on both occasions I can honestly say all I had to do was... Relax! Made a phone call and received message asking for brief description of fault and my address. I was then given a time that Alan could visit, I couldn't make 12:00pm but asked if he could visit after 1:00pm which he said was fine. I received a txt message shortly after 1:00pm to say he was on his way. Fault was quickly determined and a replacement part fitted. Left the premises clean and tidy. This was the most recent repair, the first time I used Relax a couple of years ago and from memory the process was pretty much the same. On both occasions repair was carried out on the same day that I made contact.

Waste of time contacting this company! Called the 01202 number provided and almost immediately recieved a text message that I now assume was automated saying that they are sorry they couldnt answer but to text the problem to them and they would be in contact, signed Alan ... A few chase up messages later, not one reply to any of them. Maybe this company is now closed. By the looks of the reviews im not the first to waste my time here. My advice would be to take your problem elsewhere!

Fantastic service from Alan. Our dishwasher has not been washing properly for ages and eventually stopped filling. There were several things wrong with it but Alan managed to sort and now it's working better than ever. Also arrived when he said he would which is rare these days. 5 stars.

Genuine review , Could not find a more genuine helpful guy , We had an intermittent fault which meant Allan had to come back a couple of times which was no problem for him. Engineers we have had before normally hastily drag the appliance damaging the flooring. Not so with Relax Repairs very methodical and helpful taking time to put down a floor covering as not to damage anything. Would certainly recommend Relax excellent professional service. Beats the pants of a Hotpoint engineer last time who left the machine in a mess.

Motor Brushes died on the motor of my washing machine, couldn't find replacement ones anywhere online, emailed him Sunday evening, got a reply saying he probably has what I needed. He's not so great at communication as he didn't reply to request to phone me to organise pickup of the part I phoned him a couple of times that day, got answer 2nd time and picked up the brushes a little after 7pm which meant I could put the kitchen back together and not get shouted at by the Mrs!

Attempts to fix the problem failed, dishwasher still not working. The engineer failed to attend on two appointments, didn't return numerous calls, voice mails and text messages. Weeks later and still no response, despite plenty of opportunity and the dishwasher is still not working. Very disappointed.

My neff oven had decided to stop working, just no heat but clock working as normal. The oven is only 2 years old cost more than £400 and so thought it was worth repairing. I had a quick look on the internet and found Relaxed Repairs and liked the look of their customer comments. I then gave them a call, explained my problem, Alan agreed that in his opinion the oven was worth repairing. Alan arrived on the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave me a quote for the repair and proceeded to fix the oven. Ran a test, all working fine, my oven is back to working order, all in under 40 minutes. I was very pleased with the service.

bosch dishwasher not working, making strange noises but not cleaning the plates,i called relax repairs [found them on google] they gave some advice over the phone but i still wanted them to look at my problem machine, they arrived on the same day , alan was polite, tidy and very efficient he removed my intergrated dishwasher carefully took some panels off and diagnosed the problem alan kept me informed of what he was doing, he had dishwasher fixed back together and back where belonged within 30 minutes, i was very satisfied with the promt efficient service, thank you alan and relax repairs !

my hotpoint washing machine just wasn't getting my clothes clean and there was an unusual smell, not nice at all! i had been recommended to relax repairs by a friend who had also had a problem with an appliance, well they lived upto there reputation they arrived on the same day quickly found the problem sorted it, put the machine on a test run, all finished in 35 minutes, alan was friendly but professional.
