Booked to do an annual gas safety certificate for two boilers. Engineer arrived stressed and rushed, hardly said hello and didn’t even come and find me to say goodbye. Promptly received an email invoice, paid and confirmed within one business hour. 8 days, 4 chaser emails and a phone call later, still no certificates. UPDATE - certs received after review

Never an issue with UK Gas Plumbers..Always on time. If there's an issue they explain in "layman" terms so its easy to understand. We'll continue to use them moving forward. 11 out of 10!
The engineer had come to fix problem with my underfloor heating. The engineer was unable to identify the problem . Finally he came to the conclusion that the motorised valve is not working. He asked me if I had the valve. I had already purchased the valve in anticipation. It came as a surprise to him. He then informed me that he did not have connectors to connect electrical wires. I was prepared to go and purchase from Screwfix which was 5 minutes drive so that heating could be switched on.. The engineer was not prepared to wait even though he had been in my house for about half hour of the one hour charged for. He wanted to come next day to fix and charge extra. He left without fixing the problem. This is not expected from a company which believes in service.
Abusive & incompetent Booked a visit - call out charge £180. Agreed. Turned up for 5 mins, said needs to order a part. Fair enough. Invoice payment date 16th September- On 9 th September (when he was meant to come back! ) we get a phone call evening time to say he's not coming back until he gets the £180. Felling harrased ... We paid... we were worried we will pay £180 and the guy will never come back to fix it. Well guess what - THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED Literally a minute after we paid - he txted to say he is not coming back to finish the job! Also abusive to my female staff member

My first time using this company asking for PC42 Gas safety commercial. Team have been amazing specially Rosie. She always updated me everything from engineer and services. Really efficient and speedy service without the crazy price tag. Had problems with boiler installation due to inefficiency of BOXT but had a really helpful chat with UK Gas Plumbers and they had the entire installation done within 48 hours of contact. Highly recommended
I had major issues with both my heating and plumbing in my apartment in elephant and castle. We have a communal system and it required the experience a commercial Engineer. (Indeed, three previous engineers visited from different companies and they were not able to help). The team at UK Gas Plumbers were simply amazing. They could easily have charged me more - And despite being incredibly busy, still managed to accommodate my appointment. I can’t thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I had a very disappointing experience with UK Gas Plumbers. At first, things appeared professional: they asked for photos of the installation area and provided a quote based on that. I accepted the quote informally and followed up with a call to ask which boiler model they intended to fit, as I wanted to ensure we aligned our flow and return correctly in advance. Essentially he responded was saying that only an idiot would want to get the flow and return aligned correctly in advance. His tone was really unexpected and unnecessarily condescending. I’m always very polite and helpful, he could have responded in the same way regardless of his answer. Then, just two days before the scheduled work, he asked for a video of the same location we had already photographed — and then increased the price by about 30% with no explanation. He had not previously asked for a video. When I raised concerns about this last-minute change and how we were being treated, I received no response at all.
We needed a CP42 for our commercial kitchen range. UK Gas Plumbers were easy to contact and we had no problem booking the visit which was "All ok and efficient". We received the certicate by emai.

I was so lucky to find Ernest to help me with a gas test certificate at my property which I rent out in Bromley. From the get go Ernest was efficient friendly and couldn’t do enough to fit me in the diary to get my test completed in my timescale. He is so easy to deal with professional and goes over and above, running out to get a carbon - monoxide alarm for me and fitting... what a service I can not recommend highly enough.
