Update: classic cowboy response! We found a reputable firm to come in and fix the issue for the price of this cowboy's call out fee. To be clear, we were charged £230 (upfront, which I also thought was unusual) for them to come out and inspect the unit, only to agree with me about the issue. This is not what was agreed via Whatsapp despite what they say -- we were told it was an easy fix and that "this is a small job for us". I'm sure anyone can agree that £230 as a call out charge with no work being done is extortionate even for the big firms (bear in mind, this is not an emergency call). If you want further evidence, when I asked for proper paperwork via email after the job, he wrote me a couple of lines on Whatsapp and said that's all he could give me as the payment receipt! COWBOY. We have plenty of cash and are loving the luxury of our air conditioning, but nobody wants to be conned by a bunch of scam artists plying as tradesmen. Avoid like the plague. Run, don't walk. I wish we could give zero. -- Original review: Agreed work via Whatsapp including detailed spec prior to visit. Engineer turns up and essentially nods and agrees the issue, and that work needs to be booked in for another call out cost plus hours. Requested formal paperwork for engineer report. Refused. Quote for work is hyper inflated. Avoid!

The air conditioning installation was completed to a high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. They explained how to use the system clearly and answered all of my questions. We had ACL Aircon out to our commercial site on an urgent call when our units suddenly failed, and honestly they were brilliant from start to finish. We had a couple of other companies come out as well, and every single one of them pushed straight for full replacement of the units. ACL actually took the time to look at what could be saved, serviced what was still workable, and only recommended replacing what genuinely needed it. It ended up saving us a fair bit of money, but more importantly it felt like they were being straight with us rather than trying to sell us the most expensive option. Really responsive, easy to deal with, and just a genuinely honest team. Would definitely use them again and happily recommend.

Excellent service and would highly recommend. Significantly better than any of the other aircon firms we have used over the years James Sal (Ops Manager) very responsive and helpful. Engineer James who came to service our units and fix one that has been playing up is really good and knows what he is doing. Fairly priced as well.
