The Engineer Azif had very good manners & offered to wear shoe covers before entering our home which straight away earned brownie points and then he repaired the washing machine within the hour and gave us advice on how to not have the same issue again. It was also same day service within a few hours of having contacted them which was excellent as we couldn’t be around all day.

Extremely fast response and repair to my Samsung washing machine. Engineer was at my home within 2 hours of my call Saturday afternoon. He was able to fix the PCB issue and had my machine working again within a few minutes. Very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Exceptional service from this company. Called at 2pm arrived by 6pm done a temporary fix which he said could have lasted 1 day or forever. So far temp fix has actually fixed the issue but also helped us source a new fridge. Could not recommend this company any more than I have 👌🏽

Not recommended at all. £50 call out which I accepted and do not dispute. Further "guaranteed" repair necessary, paid for but did not resolve issue. This was reported with many promises to put right. 10 months later no-one has returned. Company has been in touch, away at the moment. I will update my post here. I will not be contacting Trading Standards until I have heard back from the company.

I recently had a frustrating experience with House and Shop Appliances that I feel compelled to share. My fridge-freezer was malfunctioning, and based on their impressive 5-star rating on Google, I decided to reach out to them for repairs. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon contacting them, I was charged a £50 call-out fee, which I was willing to pay given their reputation. They presented me with two options: - They could order a spare part (PCB) for £260 and replace it for an additional £80 in labor costs. - They could assist me in obtaining a discount on a new fridge-freezer (costing £450+) and recycle my old one at no extra charge. Option #2 seemed like their recommended solution, but I opted for the first option, requesting they order the spare part and proceed with the repair. This is where the problems began. They suddenly became unresponsive, claiming that the spare part was no longer available. Frustrated by their lack of communication and unwillingness to follow through, I decided to seek help elsewhere. I contacted another company, and to my relief, they resolved the issue for just £120, including the cost of the spare part, and completed the repair within two working days. This experience with House and Shop Appliances was disappointing and felt like a scam. Their initial high rating did not reflect the service I received, and I would caution others to be wary. I will certainly not be using their services again.
