I just want to say what a pleasure it has been to have Groves Gas and the lads sorted out my air source heater. Emergency Insurance (CET) was a complete waste of time. Once Groves Gas team stepped in, they delivered and put my water and heating back on where others had failed. Can't thank you enough.

Absolutely amazing service, boiler had decided to pack in over Christmas period. We were recommended by neighbour to go to Groves, and very glad we did. Mike fixed the problem with the pump and we have now decided to have new boiler. Many thanks, would totally recommend.

I had an urgent issue with the gas in my caravan. Groves came the next day and sorted it out, plus carried out a full gas safety check. The price charged was as quoted, plus parts, and was very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any gas work.

Chnged 3 radiators to chrome radiators. The work was excellant by two young polite gentleman. Highly recommended.

Fitting a gas hob, putting in an extractor fan, re-installing a faulty shower - this firm covers so much and it is all excellent work. Prompt, polite and professional.

Lovely husband and wife owned company. Absolutely lovely people and so easy to converse with. Nothing was too much trouble. I recently suffered a heart attack and a member of staff went and took my empty gas bottle out of my car and replaced it for a full one for me. The owners even gave me a little present of a Greek chicken rub for barbecues etc. It was absolutely stunning. They sell loads of different meat rubs and seasonings so I will be trying some others as well. 5 stars, I wish I could give 10 ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️

I have used this company for many years and have had excellent experience when needed if service or call out can not fault their response would recommend.

We contacted Groves Gas about our gas fire that wasnt lighting, after an initial visit a thermo coupler (I think it was that) was diagnosed as faulty. After paying for a new one and another call out fee the engineer found the fire to still be faulty and continue to not light. We were told that he would need to speak to the manufacturer to discuss potentially needing a new part and we would get a call back. After Calling them to chase I was informed the person needed was off sick and I would get a call back - fair enough. After approx a week I called again and chased nad was told the guy was back and I would get a call back from him or the person who answered the phone, I have received nothing. After about 3 weeks and £300 down I am no further along with having a working gas fire. The service has been pretty bad tbh and I feel my money has been taken and that I'm no longer of interest to them. I would not recommend this company and would advise you try someone else sadly.

Groves gas have been absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend. They came out on an emergency call out as our boiler wasn’t working and advised that we could either repair or replace. There was no pressure felt from them at all, but we decided to go for a new boiler. They came and fitted it in great time, were so polite, tidy, respectful and have done a great job. There was a small leak that happened during their work, which was dealt with quickly and they sent out decorators asap to sort the water stain too. Thank you SO much everyone, we’re incredibly grateful 🙌🏼

We’ve used Groves gas a couple of times in the last year or so for callouts. Also used for boiler servicing. Each and every time they have been superb. The previous time they came to fix a New Year’s Day leak, and this time something under the sink. I would highly recommended. Excellent service all round

Unfortunately not able to recommend this company. Initially enquired about some work that we required to our home on 26 February 2024. Groves Gas received all of the necessary photographs and promised to show them to an engineer when one became available in the office and said they would be in touch on 29 February 2024. We chased via email on 25 March 2024. We received no response. We then made several phone calls chasing the company, we were told we would receive a call back. At writing, it’s 4 April 2024 and we have not had a call back. Terrible organisation and communication.

I originally contacted Groves Gas about servicing my boiler - excellent process throughout and very happy with the work. Whilst Craig was looking at the boiler he also had a quick look at an issue with a poorly draining toilet - it turned out the toilet needed to be raised slightly on a plinth to get the correct angle on the pipework. I sourced a Plinth online and arranged for Groves to fit it. Billy did all the work to an incredibly high standard, prompt, efficient and very tidy - all at a great price. Won't go anywhere else for any plumbing work from now on, First Class!

Would highly recommend this company. Tried everything to get a company in newport gwent to come and instal a brand new cooker to no luck ( ask to call back or they would call me back to be ignored). One call to groves gas and it wad booked in straight away without any problems. Scott the Engineer was really friendly and quick at the work ( great conversation :) . Many thanks everyone! So grateful for Groves today. Our boiler was found to be leaking 2 days ago. We had someone else booked to come and fix it but they cancelled last minute. We rang Groves at 9am and by 2 they were in our house fixing the boiler. So grateful to have our heating and hot water back! Thank you so much again.

Outstanding , Had a boiler service , engineer came in and smelt gas ,I've told various gas companies in the last 5 years that there was a smell of gas in the kitchen all said it was nothing just the smell from the flue , id had headaches , this engineer found a leak from the cooker straight away , capped it off , no more smell can't thank him enough ,great boiler service great price , I'll not use anyone else ,

We wanted to replace our old back boiler with a modern combi, and get a couple more radiators installed. The service from Groves was excellent. Ben and Rhys were very friendly and professional (Sorry there was a 3rd guy here for 2 days but I didn't catch his name). They took all the old stuff away and tidied up after themselves. The installation looks nice and tidy, and the new system works great. Our house is warmer than ever. We can have the heating on all evening and not just a couple of hours, and we're using less gas doing it. Can't recommend Groves enough.

The engineers contacted me to let me know they were on their way after I received a confirmation email of the time first thing in the morning. They were very tidy and the job was completed thoroughly but efficiently.

After experiencing another company which was poor service and expensive didnt even fix the problem. I can't thank Groves enough, Excellent customer service, always there when needed. Give Groves a ring I'm 110% sure they won't disappoint. Thanks to Sean and his team for all you've done for us this year.

I had a problem with a specially adapted Mira shower which wouldn't work. I called groves gas (who also cover my boiler) and didn't realise they did showers but within 3 hours of calling they came out & found that the shower was beyond economical repair. They phoned me back within an hour giving me a price for a replacement which I agreed & arranged to fit the new one next day. I would recommend this family run company to anyone if you want quick reliable friendly & competitive service.

At Little Chums Nursery (New Inn, Pontypool), we use Groves Gas for all our boiler/heating servicing and repairs, as well as for all our little plumbing repairs. All the engineers/plumbers that attend are always friendly, courteous and polite and carry out effective work that is complete to a high standard the first time. The same can be said about the office staff who always do their best to ensure someone visits the same day we call. Little Chums Nursery has no hesitation in recommending Groves Gas. We trust them completely; we even have a maintenance agreement with them!

Moved into our new house and.....the boiler promptly packed up! Phoned 'Groves Gas' at 4.40pm on Monday, by 6.10pm Mike was at my door to sort it out. Engineers were polite, friendly, professional and extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our routine.
