-Update 15/06/26- After our porch was completed last week I had to come back and show the appreciation for the great work undertaken by Lee, Leo and Shaun. Thanks again to the great work guys a credit to Windows etc . Keep up the good work . We would like to thank the fantastic work that the team have done installing our windows . We were slightly apprehensive about having our windows replaced due to the size and replicating the original Georgian styling . From the start Stef and the staff assisted in finding our lovely new windows (rose charisma ) which have an authentic Sash style at a very reasonable price . We have had top notch communication throughout and everyone has been a real credit to the company. We knew we had picked the right window installation company with the incredibly detailed survey which put our mind at rest. I would like to thank Wayne , Scott and Shaun for this brilliant installation even though these are wooden effect uvpvc windows there were still a large amount of joinery involved all of which is to a high specification and fantastic finish. Cannot recommend Windows etc anymore . joe make sure you buy your guys a drink they’ve done a terrific job here .

It’s not often you find a company that not only talks about putting the customer first, but also follows through in all its actions! The team recently fitted 11 anthracite grey windows at my property, no pushy sales pitch, no 90% manager special discounts, no “look at our frame samples and see how good it is”. With a competitive price and quick remediation of any issues, the team really went above and beyond. It’s not often I’d give a 10/10, but if I could, I’d give 11!

I have a Grade II listed building and was struggling to find a company who could replace my timber windows. WindowsEtc have been brilliant. They liaised with the person who was dealing with the planning application and worked hard to find the correct windows. I was told there would be a 12 week wait for the windows to be built and, in fact, they came in a week early. The installers have been amazing, quick, efficient, quiet and tidy and I am thrilled with my new windows. I can't recommend this company highly enough. Thank you!
We had our bay windows with stained glass replaced and some french doors fitted. Windows etc copied the original stained glass pattern and colours perfectly and we really couldn’t be happier with the windows and with the team that fitted them. The new doors replaced a window and have opened the room up massively letting loads more light in.

The customer service from windows etc has been absolutely outstanding, from the sales team, to admin, to the installation team. I wasn’t sure of the process and they walked us through everything and guided us to the right bifold doors for us, without trying to sell us the most expensive. The price was very good and the doors themselves are great, very smooth to open and look amazing. I would 100% recommend windows etc.

Website quotation tool is very useful as it allowed me to look and request a quote on line without someone insisting it has to be face to face meeting and my partner must be there. Nice showroom where you can get to see the products up close and showroom staff very helpful. Survey guy was very professional and knowledgeable, and the two-man installation team who made sure everything was clean and ok before leaving site. Very competitive pricing for a top-quality product would thoroughly recommend.

Can't recommend Windows etc enough. From the initial consultation, survey and the fitting by Scott and Wayne and the office staff the company is excellent. Special Kudos to Scott and Wayne who took so much care to cover carpets, take their shoes off and hoover up they were a joy to have on site and the new windows look beautiful. They also fixed plaster that fell off (not their fault). I would not hesitate to use them again
Wayne & Scott came to fit a new front downstairs window. They were really nice guys. They did a brilliant job and were very professional. The windows look great. If they ever fit any windows for you, they like coffee and do please offer them a bacon sandwich. They didn't take me up on the offer as they had already eaten, but they appreciated the offer. The door has been done to a really high standard and I’m very happy with it. Keith was very professional and courteous during the fitting yesterday. I felt bad for him doing it in the rain but it didn't bother him at all. I will be back in touch for any future work.

We experienced a superb service from start to finish - we can’t recommend Windows ETC enough! Quality products at a competitive reasonable price. We had a couple of front windows and the front door replaced last year which went smoothly and were fitted very well. We ordered a new Solidor back door which Keith came and fitted last week. This was quite a challenge as the aperture wasn't square. The fitting quality was 1st class and we will definitely be a returning customer. Keep up the great work.

Windows Etc have just installed French doors, windows and a lovely apex window above the doors in our new extension. Scot and Wayne did a great job fitting them and left everything all clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend Windows Etc if you thinking of having new doors or windows.

Great people to deal with. I had two other quotes from national suppliers one of which was more and one less but we felt comfortable that the guys at Windows Etc would do the best job. They delivered on that completely. Installation process went smoothly and the follow up was thorough and made me relieved I wasn't dealing directly with the window manufacturer which is a big advantage of using this firm as they took all the hassle out of sorting out the inevitable snagging! Would definitely recommend them to anybody!!

We recently had our back door replaced for a beautiful barn style door. Saw Windows Etc recommended online and can honestly say they were great. Top notch communication. Detailed about lead times and installation times. On the day the contractor was efficient, tidy, helpful and detailed everything we needed to know about it. Even with a minor fault with the glass (which wasn’t their fault) they identified it on the day and made plans to sort as soon as they could. Would definitely use again.

We can’t recommend Windows ETC enough! We have been going back and forth with a few companies for replacement windows throughout our whole period cottage. In the end we chose Windows ETC for their range of choice, their brilliant and patient sales process led by Laura, and Stef, where not once did we feel pushed into anything, but listened to and guided. We chose PVC wood grained windows and they look amazing in our cottage where it was important not to look too fake or bright white plastic. The best thing though. Was the expertise of the fitter, Tom. It wasn’t until the work started that we realised just how important the fitting was as it would make or break the final effect, and the finishing can be complicated. But Tom talked us through everything, and asked questions all along to make sure it all looked perfect. Tom and his team were a pleasure to have in the house, super fast and very, very tidy. Overall, we can’t recommend Window ETC enough. The old wood windows were dreadful and we have now transformed our house. An investment well worth it and 100% satisfaction from Windows ETC.

Very pleased with the decision to go with Windows Etc. We had 8 windows, including a bay, plus the front door replaced and the whole process was professionally handled by the office team as well as Scott and Wayne (our fitters), who did a brilliant job. Scott in particular showed pride in his work and did his upmost to ensure the finish was to a high standard and the inevitable damage to plaster and rendering was kept to an absolute minimum. This is a great company. I now have my back & front door from Windows Etc & love them. Keith was exceptional at making my dreams come true by fitting a solid, secure front door. His 29yrs of experience & skills made a very challenging task look easy as it wasn’t a straight forward job. So many other companies said I wouldn’t be able to get a composite door due to the size and challenges of an old terrace house. Shawn who came to measure was very accommodating & went through everything with me to show what was possible. I now have a beautiful front door that looks gorgeous both inside & outside. The finishes are so professional and I would recommend Windows Etc to anyone who wants 5* customer service and high end products for very reasonable prices. Will definitely be using again.

On one recent order, every single opening sash hit the frame profile and have damaged the foil as a result. Clearly and visibly a manufacturing mistake on hinge positions, any halfwit can see that except this lot. As 'supply only' to trade, they see this as an excuse and refused to resolve the manufacturing issue. Instead they tried to blame me for how they were fitted which is nonsense. I've been doing this for years! What a total cop out. Have lost heaps of time fixing all 11 windows, redrilling, packing etc. ALL the brush seals fell off within 6 months and yet again, they won't do anything.

Parents moved to new bungalow that had access issues due to lock height. We ordered a new door and got a good price & delivery. Had an issue with the 2nd installation but was resolved amicably and happy with end result. Installed key safes for carers and order new keys and they delivered them.

It’s hard not to like this company. We went to their showroom in the middle of 2020 and Joe was very helpful explaining the options to us. In the end we went with Origin BiFolds which I am especially pleased with. There were so many different colour options that we felt a little bit overwhelmed and it was hard for us to get back to the showroom so Joe organised a FaceTime call and walked us around the showroom via is phone. This helped a lot. Their in house fitting team were professional and efficient. There was a small flaw on one of the panels that the installers pointed out to me ( I would not have noticed it ) and they arranged a replacement which has now been done. Would highly recommend.

I thought the service was first class from start to finish. One of the main reasons I chose this company was the fact that I put a brief in of what I wanted and I was given a price with no umm or argh . The guy who fitted the door was courteous and did a great job. Really neat finish and was mindful of how things would look and the best way to get a good clean finish. Would recommend

Windows Etc have just recently finished supplying and installing 3 sets of by-folds, 2 windows and a door for me and my wife in Colchester. In an industry that is often maligned, they are a breath of fresh air for anyone looking to buy or replace their windows / doors. From the first contact we had with Jonny, to the site visit by the owner Joe, then finally the installers, the whole experience was excellent. Even after multiple changes and additions we were treated with the upmost patience and professionalism. I am one of those type of people who will be quick to criticise when work is not well done, but I also believe it is important to praise excellent work and professionalism when due. A great company to deal with. We had 6 windows and 2 doors (+cat flap) installed. Great communication from the start (even through a lockdown), work took about 2 days, all waste was dealt with too! Final finish is of a high standard and the windows and doors themselves have a quality feel. If we're ever in the situation where we have to replace windows or doors again, this who we would call first.
Really pleased with my new front door and the service from the team was excellent. There was a great selection to choose from initially, so I was able to have exactly what I wanted. Windows Etc were an approved supplier and installer for our chosen window brand, Aluco. Whilst I knew nothing about Windows Etc at the start of this project, I cannot rate them high enough. Their Customer Service is amazing starting from quotation all the way to final fitting. Their installers are very professional, very friendly and they did a superb job! Their attention to detail picked up several small issues on installation and they were proactive to have all these rectified in a timely manner to suit us. The team at windows etc were brilliant from start to finish. From the time we were greeted in the showroom, from the surveyor being very polite and informative giving us various options to choose from, to the installer working non stop all day to get the installation finished on time even though he came across some unforeseen issues when removing our old doors, nothing was too much trouble for him. I recently had 7 windows installed by Windows Etc of Colchester and I am delighted with the results. The windows were delivered and installed as promised. The installers were very efficient , friendly and polite - they did a great job.We have previously used Windows Etc. for bifold doors and I have no hesitation in recommending this first class company.
Had all of our downstairs windows and our kitchen diner back doors fitted by Windows Etc - they were the only company that offered our gorgeous Crittall style doors that were still heat efficient and practical - they are stunning. The price is extremely competitive compared to what else we were quoted ( and I had a lot of quotes given we did a big refurb) and I like that they have a real family feel about them. The manager who came to survey our property even emailed me a picture of what my daughter had drawn on his iPad whilst he was here! The installers are so lovely - all about the quality and ensured the house was immaculately clean before leaving. For me it’s these little things that make a big difference. I would recommend them to everyone who is considering new doors/windows - they have been brilliant.
They offer a professional service without the hard selling techniques used by other companies. Really pleased with my new upvc door and the attention to detail in installing the door, making sure I was happy with it and clearing away all the debris. I would definitely use Windows etc again.
What a refreshing change to find a company with comprehensive product knowledge and no ‘hard selling’ tactics. It was a fast efficient service on both our French doors and our front door. Windows etc have fitted bi-fold doors and front and rear entrance doors to our home. We have been impressed with the products, their efficiency, their communication, their website, and their staff in all aspects of their service. They even tried to help me jump start my car when it failed outside their showroom!! Very happy and would recommend.

I have recently had 2 external doors fitted by Windows Etc. and I am pleased to say how satisfied I am with both the appearance and quality of the doors. All my requirements were met, then double-checked and agreed with me prior to any work starting. The work was then carried out by their fitting team, who were friendly and quick, with work to a high standard of installation and finishing. Definitely recommended.
Looks like they are in the process of setting up the showroom as just aluminium products and some doors on display at the moment, no UPVC products. Staff always on hand to help you.
OK - so i became a window bore for about 3 months trying to find the right windows and doors for our house refurb / extension. Windows Etc were just different class compared to all of the other providers (I visited or got samples from perhaps 15 supplies around colchester / ipswich). Joe and team offer great range of products and fantastic installation all at a fair price. A big thumbs up from us

We are so incredibly pleased with our Origins bifold doors from Windows Etc. We took a little risk by ordering them in turquoise but wow did it pay off! The doors are beautiful! We had a roof lantern from Windows Etc. What a transformation! A dull kitchen with a small window now a light bright space all year round - we were also surprised at how the height of the lantern really added to the room. Pretty impressed with the self-cleaning glass too!
