KJM Windows - ordered casement windows in agate grey, so happy with them, but the whole service from first engagement, through to installation has been exceptionally professional. Charles never once pressurised or chased me up, Andy the surveyor was very helpful and guided me a bit ( which I needed). Paul and Lennon great guys, who installed the windows, were fun and very quick, However, the obvious conclusion with them all, they genuinely love their job and working at KJM. We had a new front door and side glazing installed by Will, Shane and Jordan, who were all very professional and went out of their way to finish off a door they hadn't installed. I have had a number of disappointments recently from suppliers but KJM was a pleasant surprise. From the point of quoting it has been seamless. I had good advice from Andy when doing the survey. Charlie and Ryan turned up to fit the door on time, did a brilliant job, tidied up after themselves and had fantastic communication skills throughout. They were down to earth and are a credit to KJM. Very happy with the finish and would not hesitate to recommend.
We were very pleased with KJM and Kerry in particular for the work that was carried out last week. He did several repairs to locks and hinge's on both doors and windows, he also replaced handles. Our back door was completely replaced. He was very polite and a real gentleman. I would not hesitate to recommend KJM.

Arrived early which was great news. We had ordered replacement glass with integrated blinds for our existing bifold doors which we had previously purchased from KJM. Both engineers introduced themselves, were very friendly and did a great job. After installing they showed us how to operate the blinds which was really helpful. Everything was left spotless. Can’t say anything negative. It’s not the first time we’ve used your company and it won’t be the last.

We have recently had 24 new Graf welded Deceuninck 2800 flush casements windows in agate grey, installed in our Andover Workshop and showroom. The transformation is amazing. The process from initial quote, to finalising details, site measure, manufacture to installation went incredibly smoothly without delay. The installation team worked through the extra hot weather without complaint and did a stunning job. I know window companies can get a bad press particularly when it comes to installation. 5/5 Stars – A Life-Changing Transformation! If you want exceptionally high standards and a trustworthy team, look no further than KJM. They recently built us a conservatory, and it is incredible. We used to have a rubbish garden room that leaked, was freezing, and looked horrible. Thanks to KJM’s brilliant design, we now have a stunning family room that is completely life-changing for us. The entire process was faultless from the initial sales visit to the final sign-off with Brian, who was a fantastic coordinator. Builders Michael and Ben were absolutely brilliant too, doing a fantastic, highly skilled job putting the frame up. But a massive shout-out goes to our brickies, Ant and Colin, who were the absolute stars of the show. I cannot praise them enough; they are the most friendly, kind, and hardworking people you could ever meet. Most contractors are incredibly disruptive, blasting radios and ignoring your routine. Not these guys. They were so deeply mindful of our working commitments and incredibly respectful of our neighbours. They just put their heads down and worked tirelessly, showing a rare level of pride in their craft. Having them on-site was a total pleasure. If I had to sum up KJM, they are: faultless, high-quality, professional, easy to contact, reliable, hard-working, and entirely trustworthy. Amazing service - could not lock door due to heat from heatwave and KJM arrived within about 10 minutes of our call! All windows and doors in our house are from KJM. This is why!
Having previously had a new front door installed by KJM, and having been thoroughly impressed with the service I received, I immediately thought of them when the window of my en-suite failed to lock. I was aware that KJM had not fitted this window but thought I would try. I was not disappointed. The engineer arrived to see it they could help, the company sent a quote l, which I accepted. The part was ordered and when it arrived, Kerry came to fit it. Great communication throughout and a service second to none. I would recommend KJM without any hesitation.
Had broken my window cutting the grass and called KJM straight away. Instead of waiting until the following day for someone to attend, the director Mark was on my doorstep within 30 minutes to measure up and quote to replace the glass. The quote was done within the hour and paid for, after a short wait of a few days for the glass to be manufactured and delivered, Kerry was out and fitted it. It took less than an hour to fit and he gave me some good advice on cleaning the frames in the aftermath of having to tape the old glass up. Really appreciate the quick turnaround and seamless process in arranging measuring, payment and fitting. Would recommend to anyone who does the same as I.
We’ve just replaced our old bay windows that KJM fitted over 35years ago and installed windows with acoustic glass to reduce street noise and upgrade to a more modern style . The noise reduction is amazing my decibel meter registers the road traffic as a “soft whisper “ The quality and finish of the new windows are exceptional. Highly recommended
KJM has been coming to our site for many years. During that time they have installed new composite doors, guttering and facias. They have also supplied and built a large conservatory. The engineer who covers our area is always polite and professional and is trusted to work with older people. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Had windows and a lift and slide back door fitted in South Wonston. The guys (Charlie, Ryan, Mike and Will) were brilliant. Very courteous, hard working and a good laugh. Really high standards throughout. They planned for 4 days but finished in 2, despite having to negotiate the pouring rain on day 1. The whole experience with KJM, from quote (Charlie and Paul) to survey (Andy) to fitting has been very positive. Would definitely recommend this company. Thank you guys!

Our third time using KJM and would still highly recommend! The whole team from sales to survey to install to payment are very polite and a pleasure to deal with. The install guys were especially good, turned up on time, explained everything that was happening each day, asked questions rather than making assumptions, worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves. This was phase 1 on our current house and we’ll be back for phase 2 as soon as we’re ready!

Since we had an aggressive double salesman who in the end we had to ask to leave after midnight some years ago we have been dreading the time when we would have to replace our doors and windows. Our experience with KJM could not be more different, Charles from their sales team visited us at home, listened to what we wanted, outlined suitable products and provided helpful advice without pushing anything on us. He later gave us what we thought was a very competitive price. All without any pressure or commitment on our part. Everything went as planned and Charlie, Ryan and Peter, from their installation team turned on the agreed date and completed the work to an extremely high standard, showing care, consideration and a remarkable attention to detail in a couple of days. Simon from quality control made several visits to make sure we were happy and that things were going as planned. In summary we would have no hesitation in recommending KJM to others, commend their management for their straightforward approach to business and all the staff, included those not mentioned above, that we came into contact with for their polite, helpful and can do approach to our project.

So happy with our new windows and doors installed by KJMs extremely professional and crafted engineers; Paul, Lennon & Kerry. From the very start, Charles worked patiently with us ensuring we had the right product for replacing our cottage’s windows and doors. Next Andy ensured everything was made to measure correctly and added the touches that took the look from great to stunning. Engineers Paul & Lennon installed the products with care and clearly they have a high level of craftsmanship.Kerry finished off the stress free process with the final tweaks needed when fitting a high quality product into a 209 year old cottage. And last but not least, Simon’s expert eye ensuring nothing was missed. Thank you to all involved. We are very very pleased with the service and products from KJM and would definitely recommend them.
KJM were excellent in guiding us through the process of choosing the right windows, explaining both technical and performance aspects. The installers were very considerate and made great progress, tidying up at the end of each day. Inevitably there was some collateral damage but this has to be expected: there was less than we thought there would be and only of a cosmetic nature, which they made good at the end of the job. The end result is fantastic and we’re now looking forward to a thundery downpour.
We had our French doors changed to bifold doors and a window and side door replaced. Very impressed with the quality of the products. The 2 fitters, Lester and Liam were very professional with their work and their attitude. After leaving, other than the lovely doors and windows, you would not have known they had been here. After just a good experience we are now considering more windows.

Very happy with our new uPVC back door. The team was punctual, friendly, efficient, tidy, and asked our opinions when necessary. The new door is a full height triple-glazed door, and so will provide better insulation performance and higher energy efficiency. The locking mechanisms are robust, which is reassuring. It also provides more light in our north-facing kitchen. Overall we are delighted with the door and installation.We will definitely use KJM Group again.

The three fitters were very efficient, meticulous and courteous, as was the surveyor previously. They tidied up very well afterwards and fully explained the features of the R9 windows, which fully justify their relatively high cost.

On Friday 30th January 2026 I had a lovely guy come to replace the mechanism in my window, he came on time 11am and was quick and efficient and was done in no time at all 😊 also he told me about a lithium lubricant to stop my window stiffening up from summer to winter, which I did not know about, which has also helped me to stop them from breaking in the future. Very good service had 6 windows fitted 7 years now with no trouble until one little window broke just the mechanism. Always get good service for KJM would recommend if anyone was needing windows, doors etc well done 👏👏👏 sorry didn’t get the guys name but hopefully he will see this review keep up the good work.

Just had KJM fit 8 double glazing units, including a large bay/box window, and am very happy indeed with the both the workmanship and the quality. Not quite the cheapest, although very close, but felt the safest and most competent company by far. A top job done by a very friendly and professional team. Wholeheartedly recommended!

I've used KJM for a few replacement and new windows/doors over the years. Their service has always been great, particularly any after sales/maintenance required. I've recently had a replacement window fitted and I was blown away at the professionalism of the fitters. Charlie, Ryan and Peter were so polite, considerate and tidy throughout the fitting. The first thing they did was put down floor protection and dust sheets from the entrance to where the window was being fitted, the last thing they did was sweep the area outside where they were working. I dare say the area was tidier after they left than it was beforehand! They truly are a credit to the company and are more than I could hope for from a local business.
Polite and professional fitters, QA inspection picked up snags which were duly dealt with. Excellent quality installation, really helpful staff.

My window hinge was replaced in less than five minutes! The engineer arrived punctually, was friendly and polite. Great service and wholeheartedly recommended. They were so good I went back to get my front door replaced. My previous exceptional experience was repeated! Andy turned up on time, was courteous, professional and efficient and left the area looking cleaner than it was when he arrived. If I could give six stars, I would.

Slightly longer lead time than expected, but we are pleased with the quality and price of our windows (and new door), and the fitters were efficient, courteous and tidy. This was the first time we’ve used KJM and they done an excellent job as I knew they would do from the moment Paul came out to do the estimate. KJM fitted a new front door for us. They exhibited extreme professionalism from start to finish and kept us fully informed throughout and emailed all supporting documents promptly. Andy, who was the chap who came to fit the door was very friendly and completed the installation perfectly, including taking away the old door and ensuring that everything was left cleaned and tidy. There was a slight blemish on the door, which was not a fault with KJM but from the manufacturer. KJM quickly ordered a replacement part, which they returned to fit as soon as they received it. This is the first time I have used KJM but it won't be the last and we're lucky to have such a great company that is local to us. Thank you for a great service.

The installation crew are a credit to the firm. The weather was not on their side but they carried on regardless and were very polite and kept us informed as to how the job was progressing all the way through. KJM were recommended to us after we purchased a home in Picket Piece and the windows were left in a poor state, with handles rotten/loose, one window seized with a key broken in there. KJM responded quickly and within a few weeks the windows are sorted and we appreciate the advice given about maintenance moving forward. Can't recommend them highly enough!
We had Andy round today to complete installation of 2 arched windows. They said he would be here at 8am and he was here at 8am on the dot. He completed the job in no time and even sorted our front door out. What a lovely man he was, professional, tidy and courteous. KJM did an amazing job building our extension, and then we asked them back to do our doors and windows. Kerry came by last week to repair some windows we had fitted a couple of years ago by KJM. We had a couple of the handles break on us. He fixed them up super fast and set us up woth opening windows again ASAP, especially thankful given this hot weather!
Had some windows installed, noticed one window was shutting properly, which to my embarrassment I fails to notice for months. KJM arranged for a service visit and without any fuss noticed a slight fault and instantly fixed it. No fuss just good service

We have had our whole house transformed by KJM with new front door and side panel, 2 pairs of rear french doors, 10 windows all fitted with triple glazed glass panels. To finish we had replacement fascia boards and rain water goods with all materials in matching anthracite. Sales, installation and follow up aftercare have all been exceptional hence a 5 star review is definitely deserved.

Had the best experience today with the KJM installation team. New front and back door, the guys turned up on time with all the equipment and professionally carried out the work. The guys were courteous, very well trained, kept the mess and disruption down to a minimum and very personable. They even helped with readjusting an older patio door that had been installed 20 years ago to try and reduce drafts. I would highly recommend KJM and will not hesitate to use them again.

Had a whole news set of windows plus a new front door for the house from KJM. The whole way through I found them very professional with a high standard of workmanship. The visit we had for the quote put us at ease as we didn't feel any pressure which is something that automatically puts us off. There were lots of options and we were taken through them all and left with information to think about. Once we had chosen we originally needed some lintels for our windows which were fitted a couple of weeks after we accepted the quote. We then had some wait time while the windows and doors to arrive but now they have been fitted they have transformed the house. The fitters were brilliant. Punctual, polite, friendly and tidy so couldn't have asked for more. They have done a great job and it all looks fantastic. We are really pleased.

We had a triple glazed picture window fitted in our house and KJM were great. The fitters turned up on time at at 8:30 and were finished by 11:30. I would recommend thus company and I'll be using them for any further work.

Fantastic service and response times. Had an issue with a lock on a window, not sold or installed by KJM. They promptly organised someone to attend my property to inspect the fault. I recently used KJM to have all the external doors and windows replaced in my home and to have a solid roof installed on an existing conservatory. From start to finish they have been absolutely outstanding. No pushy sales and no complaints when making changes to the styles of doors and windows we wanted and we made lots of changes. Communication was brilliant and I was kept upto date on a regular basis (particularly as I had the works done over December and January and weather was a concern). The teams who undertook the work were excellent and very hard working often working in very cold conditions. Every evening they would clean up and leave everything spotless. Windows were changed without a need to redocorate. Doors and lovely and work faultlessly. New conservatory roof has made such a difference and I now have a room I can use. They even came back and spent several hours cleaning the entire conservatory inside and out. All the staff are outstanding and really friendly and quality of the work cannot be faulted. I couldnt be happier with the results.

An excellent service from start to finish, from valuable initial advice (especially important on choice of windows as we live in a conservation area) through to the craftsmanship of the fitting and finishing. Another professional job from KJM. We have just had a new Solidor front door fitted to our 1930's house. Firstly they gave us helpful advice on choosing the right door for our property and after a few visits to their showroom we made our decision on the door, glass and fixtures. The survey revealed the need for a steel lintel above the door and the subsequent building works were carried out beforehand causing minimum disruption and in keeping with the property. A very professional installation of the door and two side windows was carried out by the two fitters who kept everything very clean and tidy whilst they worked. This was the third time we have used KJM having previously had two bay windows and several other windows replaced by their team over the past four years. We are very pleased with all the works carried out, the door looks lovely and is in keeping with the property.

KJM were very efficient and friendly when they supplied windows at our house. We therefore had no hesitation in recomending them as potential suppliers for our Village Hall. Again they were very competitive and did an excellent job in a difficult building. My latest contact has been very different, I am a member of a charity building a new craft room. We needed windows and a door and KJM came up with the goods again finding suitable units that could be reused. I have no hesitation on giving 5 stars to an excellent company.
Replacement door fitted without any problems. Old door removed in one piece and new door fitted without any adjustments made. Final external plastic profiles fitted correctly and area both inside and out left clean and tidy.

A date was advised and the engineers arrived, confirmed the locations and fitted the new units. All works were completed with the minimum of fuss and mess by a professional team. I had a window installed recently by KJM which required a RSJ and the two builders who carried out the work were very polite and professional and the finished job was excellent. They also left my area very clean and tidy. The two window fitters were also excellent and did a lovely job, again leaving my home clean and tidy. I have used KJM since 1982 and I would not have my windows replaced by any other company. After sales service is also very good.

We have used KJM for a few jobs in the last few months. A kitchen window and stunning bi-folding doors for our new extension, a beautiful Heritage internal feature window, and most recently; a fabulous new front door. We can't recommend them highly enough. Superb service, from the whole of the team, from beginning to end. The front door was a bit of an emergency as the inside handle fell of of our old one, meaning we couldn't use it to leave the house, so they did their best to prioritise the job. Paul squeezed us in for measuring up, and once the door came in, Emma offered us the first opportunity available for installing, all of which we very much appreciated. Josh and Charlie fitted all 3 jobs, and were very tidy, friendly and respectful, really nice guys. I was keen to make my Victorian terrace house more energy efficient by replacing all the original single glazed windows with double glazed windows, but I also wanted to preserve the house's character. KJM recommended timber double glazed windows and a double glazed back door from George Barnsdale who manufacture high performance timber windows and doors. KJM did a survey, submitted the order to George Barnsdale, and after a few months' wait for the order to be manufactured, KJM's fitters came to install 6 sash windows, 4 casements and a back door. I was very impressed by the KJM team's helpfulness, knowledge and skill throughout this whole process, from the initial visit from Sales manager Paul Ginger and the survey by Andy, to the installation by Josh and Aidan (with additional help from Jordan). Josh and Aidan were very considerate during the inevitably dusty installation process and they have done a fantastic job. My new windows and door look really beautiful and have been fitted with great skill and very impressive attention to detail.

Installation of 6 wooden George Barnsdale windows. Excellent installation - nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail brilliant. Respectful and experienced fitters who took care not to trample plants, cleaned up as they went, and made sure it was perfect. Thoroughly recommended from the initial enquiry to fitting.
Replacement Sliding Patio Door. Based on my positive experience with KJM who provided and installed 4 single glazed wooden sash windows to the front of my house, and satisfy conservation area requirements; I returned to KJM to provide and install a large set of double glazed uPVC sliding patio doors to the rear of the house. Getting a quote via email was easy; I visited the showroom to have a look at the product display and view the various accessory options. Placing my order was simple and my job was booked in. The fitters arrived on time, came with all the tools, materials and fittings necessary to remove the old and install the new doors and clear away all debris, leaving behind a job well done. They took pride in their work and made sure everything was in full working order and finished off neatly before leaving. The new doors are sturdy, in keeping with the period of the house and exceeded my expectations. I plan to use KJM again in the future as my renovation project progresses. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Great team to engage with! I specifically waited a few months before posting a review, purely as i wanted to see if there were any issues that arose or if i needed to call them back to fix something. Not had to call them back or get anything sorted, though to be fair, i have no reservations that they would respond and attend to it as soon as possible. We chose a local company to do replace our windows and doors as we (1) prefer to use local and (2) figured that they would have far more interest in doing a good job than a national chain whose staff weren't invested in the success, or doing a good job. KJM were a referral and were very easy to deal with, knew the products, discussed our options and very fast to respond to any queries or similar. The product is great - does exactly what it should and we couldn't be happier with the service, The fitting team (Employed directly by KJM) were excellent, they brought the product with them each day they were going to fit, were very clean and tidy and worked around our schedule as to what rooms needed to be done when. No mess, no rubbish left behind and always polite, professional and real grafters. It was clear they had been working together for some time as they each knew exactly what the other was doing and just got on with it. Its unlikely we will need to replace these windows or doors, but if we ever move, i would be straight back onto KJM to replace them in the new house.

Recently had a new door installed by KJM and cannot fault them at all. From start to finish the whole team were professional and so easy to deal with. Kept us updated throughout and the fitters were great - we have a vulnerable adult living with us and the fitters even took to time to ask if there was any considerations for them ahead of the work. Our experience of KJM Group was first glass at every level. We wanted 2 x large uvpc tripled glazed picture windows as replacements. Their website was very helpful with useful detail. I spoke with a senior manager who promptly visited to carry out the survey and bringing a sample of the proposed window...a 75mm thick 'Residence 7' frame with a triple glazed unit to the 44mm standard....a detailed quote was later received by email the same day. It was pleasure to have fitters Josh and Charley on-site, a cohesive and skilled team with excellent customer facing ability. The installation was smartly finished inside and out, all left superclean and tidy with all debris removed. Our white/pale carpets were unmarked. We much like the flush casement design of 'Residence 7' that has the 75mm frame thickness making it suitable in the replacement context, not requiring any cutting back of plaster/cill board within the reveal. I have no hesitation in recommending the KJM Group. Most pleased.

First they went round to the property and made sure the property was safe and secure, then Paul made a plan for repairs. Our new windows were installed last week and wow what a fantastic and amazing experience. From start to finish I could not fault anything, from agreeing to help us outside of their area, to the copious amt of questions and changing of designs, to Emma who helped with the scheduling and finally to the amazingly talented Josh and Charlie team. The installer was very friendly and chirpy, even in the freezing cold (we had snow the night before). He cleared the snow before he started and tidied up well before he left, leaving a very well installed door. He was happy to answer any questions i had and made sure I was happy with the operation of the door before he left (checking I could use the lock etc). I am so glad my husband told me to accept KJM's quote as he thought the Surveyor was very professional. Sadly he died suddenly before the huge window and door could be installed, so I was very nervous about the installation. However, Carl was totally professional and I marvel at the job he managed to do, leaving the glass spotless and the area inside the house and outside on the patio better than it has ever looked - yes, I am serious. If I need to have any more glazing done, it will be with KJM who, from Emma at the end of the phone, and Mark, and Carl were truly professional and helpful.

Earlier this summer, two large 35-year-old double-glazed windows at the front of our house (one 3.5x2 metres with 3 fixed and 3 opening lights, the other 3.5x1 metres with 1 fixed and 2 opening lights) began show signs of misting between some the panes. The double-glazed units were set in aluminium frames which in turn were set in mahogany frames. We sought three quotations and were immediately impressed with KJM and their unbiassed technical advice. In the end we decided to have all the glass in these windows replaced (there would have been a visual difference between the new and old) together with the aluminium frames because nowadays they have a much better thermal performance. It was agreed, at our, request that the mahogany frames would be retained. When it came to the installation and the first of the old aluminium frames was removed it was immediately discovered that there was a serious problem. The sides, top and bottom of the old frames were “stepped” with a matching step in the wooden frames whereas the new frames were flat and would not fit without a very difficult modification to the wooden frames. The installers called their office and both the Managing Director and Sales Manager were on site within about 40 minutes. They were extremely apologetic and concluded that the wooden frames would either have to be modified or new ones supplied. They planned to consult a woodworking company and let us know their conclusion within two working days, which was to supply new frames. Meanwhile the old frame and glass had been very carefully removed and so was easy to re-install. The new mahogany frames, stained to match all the others, were ready in under four weeks and the installation took two days. Aidan and Carl worked efficiently, neatly, cleanly and tidily. We were surprised that there was no need for touching up the decoration inside the house and very little outside. In conclusion I would have no hesitation in recommending KJM to friends and family not only for their expertise and advice at the quotation stage and for the efficient and friendly installation, but especially for the way they reacted to and solved an unexpected problem.
KJM installed new front door beginning of August. Decided to go for local firm over national even though cost a bit more. Came out to measure and spotted that doorbell and landline for phone came into house via door jambs- so identified as part of job. Installers did a fast and tidy job, door is nice BUT after they left realised that doorbell AND landline now not working (latter a worry given older relatives use it). Having to sort out repair myself via BT and take more holiday off work to get repaired. :( All a lot of hassle I could have done without...will update rating and review once issue is resolved. UPDATE: KJM repaired doorbell one week later on second attempt (they unilaterally came first with a wireless bell replacement which couldn’t be heard upstairs!) and added new bell push. BT engineer repaired line, I have to pay BT and then KJM will refund. Despite errors in job, older relative cut off from landline and use of two more precious days leave, KJM did not say sorry, send flowers or take anything off the bill!! I felt like asking them to make good their mistakes was a huge imposition, so not a great experience overall though door is nice. Finally, company doesn’t usually do credit cards either- which I am keen to do for the extra protection of Section 75 given my experience. Not a very good one sadly.

This was the first time we had bought windows and door for a property, so went in with only a basic idea what we wanted and needed. We had a few quotes from a few different companies, the first thing that stood out about KJM was the Sales Consultant Luke F. Luke appears to genuinely want to get the best deal for the homeowner and KJM, he explained the range of products and the pro’s and con’s of each and gave his personal opinion when I asked him to. He didn’t try to push a sale at any point and went away to work out a proper quote for the work we requested. The other companies came up with instant quotes then a ‘If you buy it today we will take 50% off price’ When I said no they reduced it more and finally left telling me they wouldn’t be beaten. Well KJM not only beat the price quoted by £1500 they also had a better (in my opinion) selection of windows and doors to choose from. This was a huge selling point for myself as it showed a genuine reflection of the work that needed to be carried out. Once we worked out what we wanted, a date was booked to install which suited us the best in a short time scale. The office staff kept in communication with us to let us know how the process was going. The 2 gentlemen turned up bang on time on the day of install, and did the work to a high standard. They were careful around the house to make sure they didn’t make any mess or cause any damage. The install took a few hours and a full demonstration was given at the end. We are totally satisfied with the work and price we paid. Knowing there is a long guarantee on the windows and doors also adds to the overall experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend KJM to friends and family! Cheers all
KJM fitted our windows in 2016 and we could not be happier with the result. The experience was not without issues, in fact we had many stressful moments. However, the measure of a company is how they deal with problems, and KJM were outstanding. Despite the stress we have every intention of going back to them when we do the rest of our house, and we would fully recommend them to anyone.

I have been delighted by the service from KJM Group Ltd. We saved for years for astragal bar windows to make the house pretty and improve noise reduction. Our initial appointment was only 45 minutes compared with 3.5 hours from a national competitor. Once our requirements were discussed our KJM salesperson took measurements and left clear instructions that the price would be fair and the details sent to me with drawings via email shortly after. I had a hassle free service at a fair price and I couldn't sign up on the spot even if I wanted to. This was refreshing compared with the industry hard sales norm. Details such as symmetry and floating mantles were also discussed which made such a difference to how the windows looked. Once I confirmed I wanted to proceed (with no follow up pressure but quick replies to my questions) I was visited again to confirm final choices of fixings and privacy glass. I felt relaxed to choose and everything was clear and well documented. After a few weeks we had the windows installed on the week planned. I was amazed at how much better the house looked. A few tweaks needed to be finished (a couple of astragal bars to be changed) and this was arranged over the coming weeks with a regular contact until I was happy that the job was complete and to the standard I expected. I couldn't be happier with my windows and the thickened sound glass in the double glazing along with quality seals has made such a difference to road noise. We have even moved our bedroom back to the front of the house since they were installed. Every staff member of KJM has been friendly and helpful throughout. I would recommend them if you are in their catchment area. 5* service 5* quality 5* value for money!
We ordered a sliding patio door and a large window with integrated blinds. Lot of the companies could not do integrated blinds on a sliding door. KJM did not find this a problem at all. Professional advise received. Order was delivered on the agreed date and the installation guys were great and worked diligently to get it finished properly. Good quality material and finish. Excellent services from start to finish.
Three years on and we are still bowled over about how perfect our live-in style conservatory is. 50% blue glass lets the perfect amount of sun in for us and my plants, brick pillars and back wall for more of a "room" feel. Well insulated for winter use (see pic). Double doors for access and summer days. Dual opening windows and of course a cat-proof electric skylight. The value of a company can be measured more by when things go wrong than when they go right - a few months after the build we had some top bricks on the pillars come loose. Their boys fixed them within hours. HOURS. I actually emailed from work asking when they might come to do them and they had already completed the fix! There is a conservatory that was built with the house VAT-free nearby at about the same time. It is your basic greenhouse-on-low-wall; it is coming away from the house wall, the guttering leaks onto the fence which is now rotting and after speaking to them, it is a hot house in summer and a heating nightmare in winter. The entire process with KJM was pleasant. The salesmen was unpushy, tolerated our changing ideas, even made some top ideas himself (house window was just in the way of the width, area wise, why not use the saving in the length? - worked out well). The architect they recommended for us was great, the boys who did the hard work were great. Overall, I cannot fault KJM. Yes they are not the cheapest brand but you get what you pay for and in my opinion I got a Rolls Royce for BMW prices.

They kept us up to date with delivery times and we had no problems throughout the process. We were received guidance and invaluable advice and kept informed throughout the process. The KJM builders, fitters and electricians were all polite, efficient, professional and tidy. KJM have also replaced our doors and windows and I would not use anyone else!

From the first moment we looked around their show-room, to the last day the fitters were on site, we really felt confident that we were with the right company. Anthony (sales) is excellent and very considerate to our wants and needs - and as for Scott and Brett, well not enough space here to say how great they both are. We had 12 windows and two bi-fold doors fitted and the entire process has been professional, well communicated and completely stress-free. Perfect!

We had our windows replaced in 2009 and a conservatory built at the same time by KJM and since that time any minor problems reported have been resolved quickly and without fuss it's good to deal with a local company who do what they promise even 7 years later and I would recommend them to anyone considering double glazing.

Just had my whole fitted with new windows from KJM.... What an amazing team of fitters they have. So professional, polite & extremely tidy they didnt even leave a trace of dust when they left each day... They offer an excellent service from start to finish. KJM Windows and Conservatories replaced the windows in the utility room of a Victorian End of Terrace house I live in. The house had not been looked after prior to us moving in and the windows were wooden framed with cracked glass. The wood had started to rot and the edges of the glass were exposed. The fitter turned up promptly in the morning and set to work, the quality of the work and the finished double glazed windows was more than we expected and the cost was competitive. I cannot recommend KJM Windows and Conservatories any higher than I already do - what a great local company and what fantastic service!
