Andy and his team were so helpful in sorting out removing / cutting down some small saplings that were a problem in my garden. I was especially grateful as no other company even returned my enquiries, as I think my job may have been too small. Not only were they able to do exactly what I needed in the garden, I really appreciate when a tradesperson does a 'small' job as well as a big job really well. They were also very accommodating with my availability which was also really helpful. I can definitely recommend them as being excellent.

I have been using Acorn Tree Specialist for my hedge trimming and tree work for the past 15 years. I always receive a friendly and reliable service. Most recent service was my annual hedge and tree trimming.
Acorn tree specialists visited for our annual hedge pruning. They removed the debris, using their own shredder and left the area very clean and tidy. The team of three did a thorough job in a few hours and they always check to make sure they have all that we require of them. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.
The team turned up on time, took down a very large tree with minimal disruption and tidied up afterwards. The whole process was over in less than a day, using 6 men and 11 cups of tea! A job well done, thank you Andy.

Felled two, reduced height and reshaped two, pallarded one and removed the top of a 20m long hedge, with restricted access. Arrived on time, consulted well throughout and completed work within the agreed schedule, leaving the garden tidy. A pleasure to work with.

We asked a year ago Acorn to remove three very large trees in our garden, and pollard another. I can't praise this company enough: agreeing on dates, job description and price, and Acorn perfectly sticked to the agreement. Very professional, great result, very clean finish. Also left us few logs as discussed. Even more meritful was their dedication in completing the job, despite their heavy and expensive unrooting machine getting badly damaged by a piece of metal burried in my garden. Andy managed to get help from his friend with a similar machine to finish the job (after I used a metal detector to make sure no other metal was left). My other garden plants are blooming, now that the large trees are gone. Thanks very much Andy and Acorn, highly recommended company!

Tree Crown Reduction We wanted to reduce the height of our maple tree, which was getting too big for our small garden. We found Acorn Tree Specialist through Check a trade. Andy came round to give us a quote for the work to be done, which I thought was very reasonable. On both times when they knew they were going to be late, they let us know in advance. The chap made an excellent job pruning our tree, which was akward to get at. They cleared away after them, leaving the garden tidy. The whole experience from the quote, prompt response from the office until the day of pruning, were excellent. I would definitely be using this company again in the future.
Andy and the guys did a brilliant job of removing our huge conifers at the bottom of our garden. These conifers were many years old and very tall and thick The weather was absolutely awful but this didnt deter them. Over 2 days they had the area cleared of all trees and roots, ready for my fencing contractor to come in. Great set of guys and very professional and cleaned up after the job was finished. First class service from Acorn after a tree fell on our house during a storm. Andy sorted out all the logistics (we had to co-ordinate with Network Rail and the council to complete the removal). The job was also a tricky one - a climbing job on an unstable 100ft limb. The team did the job with no fuss and cleared the debris. Reasonably priced too. Can't recommend highly enough!
