Paul replaced a 20m long hedge for us, including installing an irrigation system. He was very knowledgable about the best plants to replace the hedge with, and very helpful and polite, with a reasonable price.
I recently had the pleasure of using Lakewood Tree Surgeons to remove two trees and stumps from my garden, and they were exceptional. Paul and his team were punctual and very professional, they safely removed the trees, and left the surrounding area neat and clean. Five stars, highly recommended.

A very quick and professional job done in felling a number of trees we had that were unfortunately suffering from dieback. Price was the most competitive, service was excellent and the team were not only fast but tidied up fully at the end. Strongly recommend!

Paul and the boys have done a fantastic job of clearing a very old and in parts dead Leylandi hedge. A total of 20 stumps were ground out. We have gained at least 2m extra garden and the extra light is incredible. They worked extremely hard and tidied as they went. When you get a quote you may question it, thinking I’m sure I could get this a lot cheaper but from experience I would strongly recommend Lakewood Tree Surgeons, their workmanship and skills are second to none. You may have to wait for a slot in their busy diary but you won’t be disappointed. A very happy and satisfied customer. Caroline Hudson

Paul and team did a great job removing a large hedge and grinding the stumps. They left everything neat and tidy and were friendly and hard working. I found it pretty hard to get through to them by phone when arranging quotes with multiple messages left, and there could have been a little more care as the neighbours wall was slightly damaged during removal. Still would recommend them though.

Been buying my wood from them for a few years. Just had a load of unsplit softwood logs delivered. Always good sized loads, a fair price and cheerful people. Can't recommend them enough and do not understand why anyone local would want to use anyone else.

Paul and his team cut down a pine tree and trimmed a silver birch for us. They were all very pleasant, professional and polite, carrying out the work quickly and efficiently, in particular they were very considerate of our neighbours rose bushes that were underneath he tree they were cutting down. There were no issues and they left the garden and street completely clean, far superior to other outfits that have used chippers on our street in the past. An excellent job - I can't recommend them enough.

First time we've used a tree surgeon and everything went smoothly. The tree had a preservation order on it so Paul at Lakewood Tree Surgeons handled all the planning permission needed. On the day everything was dealt with efficiently, and the garden was left spotless without an extra twig or leaf from the cuttings remaining. All in all a very easy and satisfactory experience.

Outstanding local service. Paul Skiba and his team provide a highly professional, honest and hard working service. We have employed Lakewood Tree Surgeons on numerous occasions for large projects like the removal of a 40ft tree just 3 mtrs from our house to extensive hedge trimming and multiple tree surgery projects in between over a ten year plus time period. Their courtesy, professionalism and high safety standards have been consistently impressive over all that time. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Paul and his team carried out crowing of our tree with a TPO. He helped us with getting the council permission for the work and he and his team did an excellent job on the tree and left the garden really tidy afterwards. Really helpful service.

Called them to quote for a job and arranged a convenient date and time. Waited in and nobody came. This was followed by a phone call to them accepting they may have been busy and couldn't make it. Left a voicemail for them to get back to us. Still waiting... If the job is too small for them to profit from, or if they are busy, just let us know rather than leaving customers hanging. Maybe our next project will involve a lot of work for the right company. It won't be Lakewood Tree Surgeons though. If a company lets people down or demonstrates that they don't value their customers, the customers will let it be known! Good luck with that.

Did not turn up at all - Appointment was made 6 weeks in advance, I have even called Paul to confirm the time of his visit the day before. However, they did not turn up to do the works on the scheduled day and refused to answer any phone calls to explain why. I wasted my entire morning waiting for them.
