DH Tree Services Ltd

I couldn't go ahead with the job as planned, and that was my fault, I admit. But still charged full amount for the job that wasn't done. They couldn't even exclude any of the parts of the labour cost. Guaranteed, it was my fault for not clarifying before, but having no leeway did not make me feel like they were empathetic.

I contacted this company after reading some reviews on We Love Reigate. They were very promot to come and quote and efficient to send the fully itemised quote across to me. They came to do the work fairly soon afterwards and did a fantastic job of cutting and shaping a tall pitisporum tree and cutting down hedges with removal of the debris. They may not be the cheapest but I would definitely use them again.

Dan's team came on 22/07 to cut and shape all our hedges and shrubs, on time, skilled and tidy work, highly recommended.

Very professional job done in felling 2 trees and tidying up 3 oak trees in my back garden... The team were polite and friendly and left the garden in a clean and tidy state

I know Dan & his team. Very professional job and left it neat and tidy, very good.

Dan and his team were brilliant in removing four trees and a number of stumps from my garden. They were polite and professional and completed the work to a very high standard. I would recommend them and will use them again. Jack.

DH Tree services have just been round to remove 2 trees and cut off some high branches from other trees in my garden. It has been a pleasure from start to finish to work with DH. Communication has been clear all the way along, from initial survey to visit. The team were delightful, professional, curteous and super tidy - a happy bunch, which was lovely to see. Nothing was too much trouble and my garden and drive are spotless. 100% recommend. Would say pricing is very fair also.

Can’t recommend Dan and his team enough! Dan’s knowledge with what we could do with our trees was really helpful. When the team arrived they were really professional and did the job to a really high standard.

Very pleased with the service as a first time customer. Very professional , did their and work n cleaned up before leaving .

We're new to the area and need a tree surgeon to assess and then do any remedial work on our large woodland garden. We selected DH Tree Services on the strength of their reviews, and were not disappointed. Dan came round to look at the trees and was clearly extremely knowledgeable. Scheduling the work was efficient, and the guys who came on the day worked incredibly hard and made short work of the trees that needed to be removed. They left everything neat and tidy and were a pleasure to have around. Very happy with both the service and the standard of work, and will be using DH Tree Services for all our future tree needs.

Dan and his team were absolutely superb from start to finish, going above and beyond and working through some very heavy rain! Fantastic team and tidied up afterwards leaving everything back in place as before. We highly recommend this company.

Fantastic job - quick, tidy and very professional. Thank you Steve and Billy

Brilliant , friendly team and make light work of big jobs !

Simply the best tree guys around. Punctual, polite, professional and seem to manage to transform our garden without leaving a trace than they were ever here! Could not recommend highly enough!

I was recommended DH tree services via a neighbour as I had 8 overgrown fir trees needing feathering and height reduction along with a further full removal of one large fir tree. Dan and his team were so helpful from initial assessment of the job, a detailed well priced quotation and of course the work itself which was exceptionally well done. The team are very polite and cleared all waste , nothing was too much for them. I would recommend them in and instant and will use them for any more works I need doing

Very pleased with DH Tree Services. They removed some branches from an oak tree in my back garden. Cleaned up at the end with leaf blower. Quick and efficient job done.

Needed cut back of beech hedge and pruning/reshaping of tree. Dan came round to provide quote and work provided in professional and timely manner. Well priced and would happily use again in the future

The staff members were so polite, professional and friendly, when offered tea / coffee /cold drinks they were so thankful. As for the work carried out it was done to such a high standard and they even apologized for mess, when they’d finished their work there was not a speck of sawdust, branches or any mess at all. There a credit to DH Tree Services and I’ve already recommended them to my neighbors.

Great service throughout - The team were clear when giving us a quote and on giving advice on what we should do. The provided the quote and a date for completion of work really quickly. Those who performed the work were friendly, done a professional job and left the garden in a tidy state. Would reccomend.

We have used Dan and his team for several years to manage a large silver birch and some big hedges in our garden. They not only do the work very well, but are also extremely well organised and reliable. They are always responsive, turn up on time when they say they will, and provide quotations very quickly. Excellent, excellent service.

First time of using DH Tree Services and we found them very friendly and professional - and would definitely use them again! We are very pleased with the whole process - from my initial chat with Dan when he managed to book us in at short notice, to the team, Steve, Bill and Aaron who did an excellent job of trimming our dense leylandii hedges and a couple of overgrown shrubs. They worked quickly and efficiently and left everything tidy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.. thank you!

Absolutely amazing! Turned up on time, worked non-stop, very professional & super friendly. Will use everytime we need any hedge or tree work. Highly recommend.

Dan and his team did a first class job and left my hedges trimmed and tidy for another year. All the debris was swept up and taken away leaving my garden very tidy. The work was carried out skilfully and considerately. I have no hesitation inviting them back again next year!

Totally recommend the team at DH Tree Services who we have used to prune our Apple Tree twice now. They have always been prompt, tidy and completed an amazing job, along with great advice too. A+++++++++++

Thanks again to Dan and team. I've them a few times and they always do a great job, and clear up properly. No damage to other trees/shrubs whilst taking down branches from the larger trees. Dan really knows his trees, and makes excellent suggestions beyond what I thought of.

We needed quite a hard cut back of trees and shrubs, including the removal and stump grinding of the lower sectio. of a birch tree. Dan came out quickly to quote and book us in. The three chaps that did the work this morning were efficient , knowledgable and friendly. They cleaned up well afterwards, ensuring neighbours didn’t have any mess left behind. We’re very pleased with the work and will definitely return to them for continuation of work early next year.

Seen DHTS do their magic about 6 yrs ago when they took down my neighbors two huge trees. So it was my turn with my two huge trees. I got several estimates, just to be fair to myself and checked around for a good service for a good price. Needless to say I hired DHTS and couldn’t be happier with the results. They took out my huge back tree and stump, trimmed my front one to my exact specs. The guys were prompt , courteous and extremely efficient. The job was complete in about a day and a half with an incredible clean-up attitude. Diago is the man to talk to and to get the job done. Good price , great job. I WILL recommend and use them again if need be. That’s a promise! I highly recommend DHTS! You won’t be disappointed. 👍😁 GREAT JOB FELLAS!!! Gracias!

Superb job done, both of the guys were so professional and hard working. They have completely opened up our garden, we are delighted

Great service. Professional and friendly. Brilliant job (reducing hedges and trees), left the site immaculate. Second job done for us by DH Tree Services. Highly recommend.

DH Tree services were great, from the quote to the work being carried out. We called to get a quote and Dan came round and went through all the details and emailed out the quote the same day, which was really competitive. They applied to the council for us and kept us in the loop, making that process really easy and stress free for us. When Dan and the team carried out the work, they were with us early and just got on with the job. We were really impressed by the speed in which the work was completed, they tidied up after themselves and were really approachable and friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be using them again.

Dan popped round and gave us a quote to reduce a couple of our very tall conifers which were blocking light into the garden. Dan and his team came on the date and time we agreed and started to get things rolling straight away. They were very considerate and professional in their work. We are very happy with the outcome and the how tidy they left the garden Would totally recommend DH Tree services to others.

Dan and the team at DH have always done a great job trimming hedges for us. They are quick to respond to emails, great at offering advice, and always leave everything neat and tidy.

Steve and Bill did a great job again today pruning & shaping around 20 trees about 6 metres high. It's easy booking via Cheryl in the office who handles the admin well and flexible with bookings etc. They also charge sensible prices! They are very knowledgeable, always polite and friendly and explain everything, handle neighbours well, tidy and ensure I'm happy before they leave. I have used before and will definitely again, highly recommend! Thank you!

I had the deadwood cut out of a number of oaks, 3 birches taken down and a large birch reduced in size. Dan and his team did a great job, the result looks good. The garden was left tidier than before they started and I’m very happy with the work. We used DH Trees because when Dan came round to quote for the job we saw that he obviously cares about trees. He not only suggested what needed to be done but also what didn’t need to be done.He also gave us some very good and helpful advice. Great job, thank you.

Excellent service. Had a difficult large uprooted tree removed. Was supported by other trees and along the fence. Dan managed to remove it without any damage to the other trees or fence. Cleared up well. Excellent communication before job started.

DH Tree services is an exceptional company if you want hard workers who get the job completed professionally, in a timely fashion and exactly as request. Dan the owner was on site, grafting as hard as his men, and making sure , I was completely happy as the job progresses. My garden hedges look amazing and my lawns are totally clear of any debris as a result of the job, as they remove every trace they were actually on site. 5 stars Dan and thanks for removing the Christmas Tree. Good work, reliable. Didn't increase the price when the job was more challenging than they expected.

Very efficient, polite workers. Tidied up before leaving would definitely use again

Really pleased with the service from Dan and the team. The quote was very competitive and the work carried out was of a high standard compared to other tree surgeons previously used. One of my firm favourites for regular tree trimming would definitely recommend this company. A really friendly team

Very pleased with the work carried out by Dan and the team at DH Tree Services. They removed all the dead wood and the mistletoe that was smothering the apple tree. The garden was left clean and tidy, the team were very professional and friendly and the price for works done was exceptionally competitive. From initial enquiry to getting the job done was one week, fast and exceptional turn around. Will definitely use again and again.

The company removed trees close to the house and reduced the height of a boundary hedge (and helpfully advised against some further work I'd proposed). The work was completed within a week of accepting the quotation by proficient and friendly staff. They removed all the rubbish, including some of mine,, leaving the garden tidier than when they arrived!

Had a number of trees removed from the back of our garden. Team was in and out and really efficient. Competitive pricing and the team were really helpful and communicative prior to the day. Would definitely recommend.

The removal of a Poplar tree. An exceptional job done by a professional and courteous team; the site was completely cleared of debris and the area returned to the status quo. The work was delivered at a sensible and reasonable price and I therefore would recommend this firm to anyone seeking similar work.

I called to get a quote for my hedges to be trimmed. Dan came around within a couple of days and a week later they managed to squeeze me in and get the work done. The team were quick and efficient polite and friendly. They even spoke to my neighbour and went next door to make sure they could access the whole job. A good reliable service and I will be using them again. They were recommended by a friend and it was a good call

This firm has recently removed twelve Leylandii trees of twelve feet in height from our back garden transforming the outlook and also cut back and reshaped an out of control prunus tree in our front garden. Both jobs were carried out to our complete satisfaction and has left both front and back gardens in a far better shape. Prompt, professional and thorough teams who did excellent work for us and will always be our first choice for tree care.

Very professional team, fast working and cleared up all the trimmed foliage. We had a tree cut down and three very tall trees reduced in height. Very satisfied and would totally recommend Dan and his team.

Excellent service from DH Tree Services. Great price too. Very happy with the result and will use again. Alice

Today Dan and his team were here to cut trees. They done a fantastic job and cleaned as well after the work. Price is reasonable as well sticked with the orginal estimated cost.

Dan was recommended to us through a company who had replaced our fencing. During the building works of our recent extension we needed to remove an old tree stump which was blocking where they new patio would be. Dan has the most amazing and powerful tree stump grinder that cut through the old one like a knife like butter and took it right back to the earth. Very efficient and punctual - so fast in fact that the builder was able to carry on building the very same day! Really nice guy and he's back to carry out some work for my neighbour too.

Excellent service with sound consultation and advice beforehand on my needs. I required the removal of 2 trees. The men who followed later were quick, efficient and polite. I was surprised by the end result as everything was raked over and left tidy.

Great job, very thorough and quick. Their teamwork is excellent Helped by their top-notch equipment. Everything on our long list was done, a clean and tidy job, and nice guys to have around. The invoice was good value for the amount of work done. Many thanks

Dan and his team came to trim back a large overgrown willow tree and hedgerows 4 months ago and came back last week to cut down an unwanted tree. They guys are super. They are efficient, professional, punctual, knowledgeable and very tidy. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Really happy with the service Dan and his team provided when trimming and reshaping two of our trees. They were clean and tidy, on time and trustworthy. Would certainly use again and recommend to others!

Fantastic service from Dan and his team, great clean and friendly company, would not hesitate in using DH TREE SERVICES again and would highly recommend them.Colin (Walton on Thames)

The DH Tree Services team came last week to remove a horrible, huge conifer tree from my front garden and WOW the difference it has made. They were very quick and professional. They were so tidy and I am super impressed with their work. Highly recommended .

Very happy to recommend DH Tree Services to anyone needing work done. Dan responded quickly to our initial enquiry and was very knowledgable when doing a site inspection, giving us excellent advice about the front and rear spaces at our new property. We had one very large leylandii removed at the front of the house and a very overgrown “hedge” of leylandii at the back, alongside two Ash trees and an awful lot of bushes. The quote came through incredibly quickly and was very competitive and following the reviews seen, we were very happy to go ahead. Dan scheduled us in for just a few days later and work started (lucky timing!). The team arrived promptly, raring to go and before we knew it the gardens were opened up to the light! The guys did a fantastic job, working efficiently and effectively and we were very happy indeed. When a piece of equipment broke, completely not their fault, the team went above and beyond to try and finish, staying hours later to get the job completed that day. When it got too dark and it wasn’t going to be possible, the company kept in great communication and came to finish as soon as the machine was fixed. The communication was excellent, the team knowledgable and hardworking, and the service top notch. Very much recommended and should we need more work in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again!

Work was carried out quickly and professionally. We were kept well informed prior to the work starting. Would happily recommend.

Dan and his team are very professional and friendly. Had work completed to cut back overgrown trees and to reshape my apple trees. Work completed to a high standard. Prices quotes are very reasonable and definitely would recommend DH Tree Services

Dan and his team did a fantastic job cutting back the trees in exactly the way we asked. They even handled the process of us getting permission to do the work which was an unexpected bonus. Another bonus was to come home to find the garden completely cleared of leaves which is not something we asked for and were not charges for! Thank you Dan and the team, we will never use anyone else.

Dan and he’s team we’re absolutely fantastic from quote to completion. I would definitely use them again, My neighbours were so impressed with the work carried out they have already booked them in. Thanks again Dan and team.

Friendly and efficient. A pleasure to do business

I’ve used Dh tree services ltd on numerous occasions and the service they provide is absolutely flawless. Highly competitive, outstanding workmanship very clean and tidy 10/10. I have recommended them too family members and friends and they have been equally as happy as me.

Excellent team of guys. They were very friendly and efficient. I'd definitely book them again when the willow tree goes mad again!

Dan and his workers turned up on time as agreed and started work straight away once they had sorted out there equipment. they lowered the height and width of my 75ft long hedge. bear in mind I have a flower boarder the complete length of the hedge on one side and a right of way path on the other side. you would not know that they had to walk on the flower boarder. also that they had actually been here due to the way they cleared up after themselves , why they where here they where very friendly and courteous and nothing was to much trouble . would recommend them to any body .

Fantastic. We've used Dan before, although the team truly excelled themselves this time. Felled and removed a huge tree from our back garden - fascinating to watch such an organised team work. A pleasure to have them around and more than happy to provide advice and answer questions. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks.

We have used Dan and his team for the last 10 years or so and would never use anyone else. A large eucalyptus tree was removed today, was amazing to watch. The team are so professional and work really hard to get the job done. Tidying after is excellent and importantly they also ensure neighbours gardens tidy of any debris too so everyone is happy. Highly recommended

Dan and his team were very professional, friendly and tidy. As a result of their quality of work they have also received/ completed work with our friends and family. Would highly recommend!

Would highly recommend Dan and DH tree services. Turned up on time, completed the job as quoted and left the garden clean and tidy. Would 100% use again.

I recently hired DH tree services based on their reviews on here and checkatrade and I must admit they were fairly responsive to my inquiry and also reasonable in cost. However, I was not very pleased the the quality of work nor their customer service and for that reason I wouldn’t use them again nor recommend.

Dan and his team were brilliant, they arrived on time and were so efficient when the work began and cleaned up after everything was done. We had a troublesome, very large, dying oak in the back garden but they had a plan and executed it perfectly. I will definitely be contacting them again for any future work. They are very trustworthy and I have already recommended them to my family, friends and neighbours.

This is the second time we have used DH and should have left a five star review the first time too. Advice before the work and during was professional and precise. The team arrived on time and completed the works efficiently with a full clean up after. Very competitively priced too. If we need any more tree work they will be our first company to go to.

I've used DH Tree Services a couple of times now and they deserve all of the 5 stars given, a very professional outfit, good on price, good for advice and turn up when they say there going to turn up, absolutely fantastic service, well recommended.

Very pleased with Dan and the team. Cleaned up some very messy hedges and removed stumps.

We used the service of DH Tree Services on 11/5/20 @ 6pm. Our tree fell across our drive with the strong winds and landed on the next door neighbour's car!! We called DH Tree Services. They were with us within the hour! We were very impressed with the way they worked, not only the speed, but extra care they took by gently cutting off the branches before removing the tree from the car next door. Hence no damage to either cars. They cleared up and the left the place very clean and the cars dust free. Both gentlemen were very polite and professional. They were knowledgeable about the problems with the tree and conducted the emergency with great skill. We would certainly use their services again and recommend them to others.

Excellent service. Prompt, efficient, tidy. Would definitely recommend to others and use again.

Great job. Felled 3 large trees and trimmed another. The team were quick, efficient and left the place clean and tidy.

On Friday 27/03/2020 I had 2 fir trees removed, the stumps drilled out and my neighbor's trees cut back to my boundary fence. 2 men arrived promptly at the agreed time. They cleared the debris as they worked, then before leaving they raked all the garden of any remaining mess. I have used DH Tree Services before and had been very pleased with there work. Hence I used them again and I am so pleased with what they did this time. I can throughly recommend them.

The work was performed professionally and to a high standard.

We had one tree that we needed cutting down and the stump removed and another to be trimmed. The team worked quickly to get these jobs done and left the site clear. We were impressed at the communication when booking the job. We have already recommended DH Tree Services to a couple of friends!
