We chose AJ Carpenter & Tiles to do some work on our staircase Artur arrived and done a fantastic job thanks to him we can now move forward with getting new carpet on our stairs. Will definitely be using him in the future. Thanks again Artur ppl

Artur did a superb job of laying a new tiled floor in our water damaged conservatory, and additionally fitting skirting, he even trimmed an existing door between our conservatory and garage so that it would open after the tiles were laid. A very hard working gentleman and came prepared with all the tools needed, really professional. We had been let down several times previously by other traders so it was very refreshing to meet someone so reliable and professional. We are definitely using him in the future for other projects. I would absolutely recommend Artur for any tiling and carpentry jobs.
I used AJ Tiling to lay 115 square metres of large tiles for my open plan downstairs room with underfloor heating. Arthur was early ever morning and worked through to 5pm unlike a lot of tradesman and what a fantastic job he done. I can’t thank AJ Tiles enough. Beautiful work and well recommend. 🤝

Very happy with the job done on my Mother in Laws. Supplied and fitted a new rear door, painted and old door removed. Punctual and tidy work , done promptly in the agreed time. No hesitation to recommend Arthur.

Artur is a very skilled, hardworking and meticulous craftsman and has made a fantastic job of retiling our kitchen and utility room walls - at a very fair price too. He is 100% reliable, turning up on time every day. Trustworthy - I would recommend him any time. He gave us great advice and helped us choose the tiles and colours. Our project involved the removal of old floor boards and joists in our conservatory, replacing them, and then laying porcelain tiles. We valued Artur's expert advice before the project started, and we were happy with his quote for the job. He pays attention to detail which was greatly appreciated and we could tell he put a lot of thought into his work. The project was completed around the time we had been told to expect. We also appreciated the fact that Artur tidied up as he went along., and was always courteous and friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending Artur for carpentry and tiling work.
This is our 3rd project with Arthur, and he never fails to impress ! A tiny toilet and separated shower room has become one beautiful spacious room. Nice guy, made sure the work was done in a day because I live an hours drive away. Fitted a new cupboard door and supplied the materials.

Arthur has just finished tiling the walls and floor of my bathroom after I had it completely stripped out. Arthur has done an excellent job and my bathroom now looks like a 5 star hotel bathroom. I have nicknamed Arthur the Beaver as he literally worked like a beaver, not stopping for a drink, lunch etc as he said he did not have time. He was also leaving later and later each day and would not leave until he was satisfied he had completed everything for the day, e.g. the tiles had to be washed down etc. Arthur was very clean and tidy in his work and cleared up each day. I thoroughly recommend Arthur and look forward to having him back when I have my shower room redone.

Arthur is always very friendly professional and so easy to get on with I found him very honest reliable and trusted him very much to do the job as required and even went the extra mile when so many times I changed my mind about the colour I wanted and happily got on with the work no questions asked I will definitely be calling Arthur again for any work needed to be done
Fantastic service. Came round as agreed and gave us a free quote. Agreed quote and booked fitting date for tiling our kitchen floor. Arrived promptly on both days and done a great job. AJ did the floors and backsplash in our kitchen. This was fine at a very high standard. The best part was that he was very experienced and didn’t need more than a couple of day to complete, as he knew what he was doing.

Arthur recently tiled our old brick fireplace with an oyster split brick tile. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the service and work carried out! I’m an engineer by trade so I can be very fussy and I have a great eye for detail so am a bit of a nightmare for tradesmen sometimes as I like things done properly. Arthur filed me with confidence, I could tell he knew what he was doing and was very confident in what we had asked to be done. I had knowledge of how good he was before anyway as he had done work for my father in law (who couldn’t recommended him enough). He arrives when he says he will and works very hard all day, he has a great work ethic especially when compared to other tradesmen. He’s a really nice fella to boot and was very reasonably priced (he should charge more for the job he does but don’t tell him that haha). But seriously, a true craftsman, very friendly family man and very trustworthy. We have more worked planned in the future and won’t hesitate to get Arthur back.
Artur tiled our kitchen, toilet & did a feature wall for us on our stairs. He came up with some brilliant ideas and made us our own unique mirror frame with leftovers from our tiles that were left over. We are so pleased with the work he did. Thanks Artur! We will definitely use you again.
Amazing craftsmanship and really takes pride in his work (I'm sure just as good as he would do for his own home). Artur had some really good ideas that we went with, he boxed in all the pipework of the boiler, made a great pattern with the tiles around a mirror, attached the tile trims perfectly and the feature wall on our stairs looks great. Artur installed a couple of solid oak window sills and trimmed a door down so it now closes properly with our new floor tiles. Definitely will be using again!
Artur has just finished tiling our hallway. We are extremely pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend and use A.J. Tiling in the future. Artur is very precise and particular and takes pride in his work - just what we were looking for.
