I am an elderly woman and I feel completely taken advantage of and utterly devastated by this experience. I was lied to from the beginning and trusted this company to do an honest, professional job. Instead, I have been left with a poorly constructed patio using what appear to be reject, chipped, and uneven slabs. I paid £6,000 for what is only a small section to be done, which makes this even more upsetting. The quality of the work is shocking — the slabs are lumpy, badly laid, and already damaged. It is nowhere near the standard I was promised. Not only that, but the rest of my garden has been left in a worse state than before, with damage and mess that has not been addressed. There has been no aftercare, no attempt to put things right, and absolutely no compassion shown despite my situation. I feel completely ripped off and ignored. This has caused me a great deal of stress and upset, and I would strongly warn others — please do not trust this company

I had been dissatisfied with the work done. However a team came to rectify everything and I am now very pleased with the result. Exactly what I was hoping for.

The whole process from start to finish went without any problems and the results were very satisfying,well done to all involved.

It’s a bit of late review. Homesmart installed a new tri fold door and window to our newly converted garage two years ago. After more than2 years, the quality stands. Also, right after the project, they reacted promptly and effectively to the request of cleaning up cement on driveway. Now booked them for a roofline project. Will review afterwards.

If you're looking for any aftercare, I would recommend you avoid this company. Requested a repair service in may. They responded saying they would help shortly after. I then chased in June and multiple times in August and had no response since.

The work that home smart have done to my house has been done to a high quality. The whole team have been really professional. The men that come to work one day ,worked till late to make sure that they could leave it in a reasonable condition before coming back the next day to finish the job. The lovely lady that come round once they had finished and asked us how the work went was kind and welcoming. The whole experience has been positive

Stay away from this company！I would give 0 star if I could. They replaced my gutters, facias and soffits in May. It was raining today and I found that the gutter and the downpipe is not jointed properly so water is leaking, which could cause damp issue to the walI. I don’t live in this house so I don’t know when did this problem happened. I just contacted them about the problem and asked them to fix it asap, but they told me they are quite busy at the moment and it could take up to 28 days for them to rectify the problem, as stated in the contract. They even said that I could pay somebody else to fix it if I couldn’t wait. That’s ridiculous! Their price is not cheap compared to other companies. I paid a higher fee and of course I expect better service. But what I got is an unprofessional service and poor customer service. It’s been only two months since their work been done, and now problem occurs! I won’t recommend this company.

Roof line and cladding installed by a very professional installer. Already have had a number of neighbors commenting on how good the house now looks. Very pleased with the work and would recommend this Company. The person doing the installation was very amiable to questions but cost me a lot of cups of coffee. The complete experience was BRILLIANT.

This is the third time I have used Homesmart. The first time I had soffits and gutters replaced. The second, an electric garage door. This time I had my driveway renewed with block paving. The company were very easy to deal with, keeping me updated with news of any delays - as with the driveway where the project slipped by a week due to the weather delaying previous contracts. The result was well worth the wait. The installers were very skilled at their job and were careful to get levels right so that drainage was channelled correctly. I would thoroughly recommend Homesmart.

We were first approached by a cold caller who had been observing our house - the soffits and fascias needed doing. This meeting was followed up by a salesman who did a very good job. Smart, polite demonstrated the goods and sealed the deal. Nice glossy brochures etc. Plenty of follow up calls and general communications were good. One man plus a junior labourer arrived to do the job, it took from 9.30 until 2.30, so 5 hours. The materials would have cost around £500. So the actual job was worth around £1000 - maximum. The remainder of the £2800 went on VAT, glossy brochures, insurance and salesmen. The workmen were the biggest disappointment, they broke one of the bricks on the front of my house and left loose or missing cement from my verge tiles. I had to get them to come back and sort this out when I returned home I saw cement everywhere even on the road outside my house, he must have just been wandering around with it spilling it all over the tarmac driveway, attention to detail in tidying up was dreadful. They left all bits of bird's nests hanging, dirt everywhere but worse of all 2 nails and 3 screws on my driveway. Cleaning up doesn't mean blowing the dirt all round the place with a machine, just pick up a broom and put your back into something, just like I had to for 4 hours after they left. One of my downpipes was a square profile and joined the soakaway hopper beneath ground. I asked them how they had connected the new circular downpipe to the hopper they said they didn't get involved with anything below ground. After they had gone I examined it and of course the round pipe was just pushed up to the squared hole which meant every time it rained most of the water would have gone into the footings of my house rather than the soakaway. This has since been rectified by myself. I paid a premium price and got a poor job, no attention to detail, very little tidying up, all they wanted to do was go home.

I really cant praise this company enough, they really were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish! To summarize my experience step by step - 1. Initial quotation was honest and genuine with none of the usual 'pushy' sales techniques that you find with other companies selling similar products. 2. Price was very good and acceptance of quote was simple. 3. I was constantly updated on the progress of my order and Homesmart were happy to work to an install date that suited me. 4. The install was smooth and the quality of products and workmanship really is second to none. 5. As soon as the installer left I received a phone call from a customer care agent to confirm that I was happy with everything. If more companies could be like HomeSmart the world would be a much better place, I plan to recommend them now to everybody!

HomeSmart were very professional, right from initial engagement talking through work required, to stepping through options and their installation approach and quotation. Installers were very hardworking and had attention to detail. Each day cleaning up afterwards. Very pleased with Roofline work, high quality materials installed to high standard at a competitive price. Definitely a company on my short list if I need other improvements done.

My wife and I were delighted with Doors and windows this company installed for us. A chap called Andy did the survey who was very knowledgeable and his recommendations helped where we were unsure. He offered money savings ideas and the cost bettered the other 2 quotes we received. The lead time was 5 weeks which worked well for us. Regarding the install we had 2 installers (Sandy and Wayne) who were friendly, clean and professional (plus conscientious of COVID requirements). They also helped by adding trickle vents to the current windows and helped refit an old door. It only took 2 days for 2 doors and 9 windows. The communication from the office was good and timely to confirm dates and times. Thank you.

Super service From my initial consultation with Andy Reid (who was brilliant) through to the quality of the works and customer service throughout (thanks to Mark Allen), the whole experience was first class.

October 2021 All the people I dealt with were polite… All the people I dealt with were polite and helpful. The service was good and the product seems to be of a high quality. Feb 2022 I have found HomeSmart to be efficient… I have found HomeSmart to be efficient and customer friendly. I recently had loft installation done by HomeSmart. There was a problem with the work but Mark Allen dealt with the problem very quickly and everything was left in good order. Good customer service.

HomeSmart have been amazing from start to finish in laying my new porcelain patio & also relaying some of my old slabs to transform the front of the house as well. I was kept informed at every stage of the project & the guys that completed the work were respectful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to have HomeSmart back working on my house again, thank you
