Birmingham Flat Roofing

First class work done on garage roof would recommend this firm to anyone who need a new fibreglass roof. Really helpful in everyway no pressure, good workers and know their skills.

Aaron was polite, punctual, he kept us informed. More than pleased with our garage roof, and the service provided.

Amazing service a, quick friendly, professional very helpful and amazing quality work and rates . Couldn't recommend this company enough

New Review (3 years later) I do not ordinarily feel compelled to write negative reviews; however, the circumstances in this case fully warrant it. In 2023, John and Aaron of Birmingham Flat Roofing were engaged—via my builder, KC Construction—to install the flat roof on my new extension. Upon completion, I was instructed to provide my details in order to receive a warranty certificate for the works carried out. Despite multiple follow‑ups between February and April 2023, no certificate has ever been issued. The work itself was completed in August 2022, making this omission entirely unacceptable. A little over three years later, the roof began leaking, and several blisters became visible across the surface. I contacted Aaron immediately. At his request, I sent photographic evidence. He failed to respond until chased, at which point he simply stated that “this should not have happened” and that he would “look into it.” From February 2026 to June 2026, I made nine separate phone calls seeking an update or any form of remedial action. Each time, I was met with excuses—personal issues, large contracts, being too busy, and various other justifications. While I fully appreciate that life can be demanding, leaving customers in limbo when serious defects arise is wholly unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would urge prospective customers to exercise extreme caution when considering Aaron or Birmingham Flat Roofing. Initial engagement may appear satisfactory, but true professionalism is demonstrated not when things go right, but when things go wrong. In this regard, the company has failed entirely. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- (3 years ago) - OLD REVIEW - Done immediately after work was completed - below Aaron and John recently did my grp roof on the newly built extension. They have been extremely professional, punctual and extremely professional. Their quality is great and they only use the best and the very latest in trend and technology. Their workmanship is of an extremely high standard and guaranteed. They kept me informed at all stages and explained the process right in the beginning so that expectations are managed well. I would definitely recommend them without a shadow of doubt. The real test of the roof happened today evening during heavy rains. The roof stood solid without any leak. This was a good test. Thank you Aaron and John for your help. 5 star quality and service. Will definitely invite them again. B

Aaron was superb. Very efficient and polite. Agreed a price time and date and fulfilled within timescale completing the work to an outstanding quality. Very very happy and will recommend to all

Arron from Birmingham Flat Roofing recovered a flat roof on my retail premises in January.I am very impressed with the professional manner in how this job was handled from assessing, quoting, and completing the work required.Aaron is a very experienced helpful person and went out of his way to get the work completed on time as I had a new tenant moving in.The work was completed to a very high standard and I would recommend this company to anyone who needs their roof repaired.

Excellent roofer. Friendly top quality service Arrived on time no issues what so ever Highly recommend.

Aaron and the team were brilliant, kept me fully informed and took photos of the work in progress and on completion. Couldn't fault them for work, professionalism and friendliness. Would definitely use them again and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Needed a tarpaulin over my conservatory roof as a temporary measure due to water pouring through. Aaron not only replied and agreed to help, but came out first thing this morning to do it. He was the 7th roofer I had contacted, but the first to offer help. Thank you so much.

Aaron has come to the rescue twice for me when cowboys installed tiles on two properties that actually should have had a flat roof solution. Aaron rectified a number of issues most recently on a garage extension roof. He was open and honest about the issues and the cost. He completed the new roof in less than two days and did a very good job. I would definitely recommend him.

Can't recommend BFR highly enough. Excellent standard of work at reasonable prices. Aaron and Curtis are friendly and professional guys and they quite rightly take pride in what they do. I thank them and recommend them in equal measure.

I had an extension built a couple of years ago with a fibreglass roof. I subsequently discovered that the builder had not finished the roof to the correct specification. After being let down by several companies and receiving conflicting advice along the way including a few people who told me i needed a new roof-I was at the end of my tether!! Aaron came to see me and was nothing but friendly and professional. He talked through all of the issues and in detail explained how to resolve them. He delivered on everything promised, his work is great and how refreshing to see that he left my home clean and tidy every day. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. Thanks for your help Aaron.

Aaron is proficient and can explain any works undertaken. Uses the best premium quality materials and has extensive knowledge about each product used and its advantages. Really high quality work from professional people.

Aaron has been great from start to finish. Communication always prompt and helpful, and turned up when he said he was. (Which seems to be a rare thing these days!) After the weather turned bad and we missed our slot, he's fitted us in between jobs with minimal delay. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Birmingham Flat Roofing From start to finish the service provided has been 100% The transformation from our old garage roof to now a lovely new modern flat roof Absolutely stunning work. Aaron is friendly reliable and professional a true example of how a skilled worker should be. Thank you Birmingham Flat Roofing (Aaron)

We discovered a small area on our fibreglass roof which had started to delaminate. Aaron repaired and strengthened the crack and now it’s as good as new. Aaron is an extremely knowledgeable, competent and professional roofing expert - I am happy to recommend him.

Great service. Prompt communication, full quote and invoice provided as promised. Arrived at the agreed time and got all the work done within the estimated time frame. All waste removed after the job was completed. The fibre glass products did leave some mess which was tricky to clean up. I wouldn't expect the roofing team to clean it up. I only mention here in case you are having fibre glass and don't want any mess, make sure there is a space for the team to cut the fibre glass (ideally over a tarp) to make clean up easier. Would recommend and use again.

Really excellent service. I was updated on everything, and the team did an excellent job in a short time. Very happy with result. Highly recommended.

I'd like to thank Aaron for the excellent job that he made of our three flat roofs. The work was carried out meticulously, the guys quite obviously know their stuff and maintained good communication throughout. The fibreglass roofs look far better than the felt originals and have been finished to a high standard. If you want a high quality, professional solution to your leaky or ageing roof, I recommend Birmingham Flat Roofing without reservation.

Fair and honest roofers, who was quick to respond. I would recommend these workers.

Aaron and the lads did an amazing job with the rubber roof they installed, they worked so hard and every aspect of their work was professional. The garden was left immaculate, highly recommended!! Thanks Aaron - Great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Cannot fault Aaron and co. Their work ethic is second to none. On my side garage/shed water ingress had affected the whole roof and the boards needed replacing. Aaron and Kurtis removed them, put down new boarding, and then a fibreglass coating. From start to finish Aaron was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and not pushy in any way. The job was explained clearly, arranged promptly, done promptly, and finished tidily. New roof is great. I say thank you to them, and I recommend them without reservation.

Quick and tidy job putting on a fiberglass roof over the felt. Looks good and was done well. A very clean and tidy job. Very pleased with all that's been done. This company fiber glassed my daughter's kitchen extension roof 5yrs ago, its still like a new roof. Very pleased. Thank you

Good communication, arrived when he said he would and did a good job. Happy customer.

Fantastic job and the craftsmanship is second to none, great eye for detail and great job. So friendly and willing to help and change as ideas moved. Highly recommend, give Aaron a call for sure.

Outstanding service. I spoke with afew different companies beforehand. None of them filled me with confidence like Aaron and Cory did. Quick to identify the problem before clearly explaining all my options. This gave me the confidence to decide the best way forward. Super quick turnaround when others couldn’t even give me a date. I would highly recommend them to anybody

Cant fault Aaron and his team. Difficult to get a day with the U.K. weather not behaving but we managed it and Aaron came with his team as promised to compete our flat roof done with fibreglass. Really friendly team, great attitude, hard working, excellent attention to detail! Can’t fault them. Aaron is so caring and clearly cares about his work and the final finish which for us is perfect. Looks amazing.

Needed two roof jobs doing. One was a repair to fiberglass flat roof and the other new canopy to front porch. Aaron and Corey were proffesional , knowledgable and good communication from the start. On the actual day was no different. Job well done. Respected my property and cleaned up after themselves which is always a bonus. Always had time to answer my questions and explain everything when asked. Very happy with the end result. Highly recommend Aaron and Corey. Would definitely use again without hesitation. If you need a roofing company .. use them you won’t be disappointed. Thank you both.

From the offset Aaron & Corey where great! Swift turnaround time once the quote was given. Other roofers were unable to deal with the awkward shape of our bay window, however no problem for these guys. The attention to detail and intricacy as well as tidiness was top notch and was kept informed of the work throughout! If you need any GRP or roofing doing, definitely give this company a call! Thanks again guys 👍🏽

I had a GRP roof which was basically sound but the surface was beginning to fail. Aaron came around and knew exactly how to sort it out. It now looks like new again, in fact better than it looked when new. Highly recommend.

The contractors work was excellent. Great quality. Good communication. I would recommend this contractor if anyone requires one.

Fibre glass flat roof done by Birmingham flat roofing which covered both kitchen and bathroom. We had patched the roof for some time but knew it was time we bit the bullet and had the whole roof redone. Aaron came to give us a free quote. It was clear he was very knowledgeable on all aspects of roofing but also on the products that would be used. The guys who carried out the work were polite, friendly and extremely professional. They worked hard whilst keeping any disruption to us to a minimum. Roof looks fantastic. Thank you!

Aaron and the lads have done a brilliant job on my flat roof. I am a returning customer as they’ve done work for me before and they will be doing more soon. I left them with the keys to my place and left them to it. Always attention to detail and quality workmanship. 👍🏻👍🏻

Aaron recently did a rood for us. Very good job done and also sent the pictures before and after. Trust worthy men who know what they are doing. Highly recommended. No wonder these guys are so busy.

Aaron and Richard turned a disastrous roof into a success. They are polite, respectful of your property and hard working, the roof now looks as good as it should have done all along. Would recommend their work to anyone.

Aaron and his team undertook some fibreglassing work to my extension, flat roof. They went above and beyond and I found them to be extremely professional, reliable with quality workmanship that was fairly priced. I cannot recommend them enough.. 5 star all the way!!

We are absolutely delighted with the finish Aaron has achieved on our GRP roof. The service we received was professional, reliable and friendly and we would definitely recommend Birmingham Flat Roofing.

Aaron and his team did a great job, their quality of work and attention to detail was very good. I would definetley recommend them.

Birmingham Flat Roofing installed a roof on my dormer window. They did a great job and took a very professional approach to their work.

After being let down by two different roofers who didn't show, Aaron stepped in, called when he said he would and repaired my leaking garage roof with the minimum of fuss and charged less than the two companies that let me down. I can highly recommend!!!

Made appointment and came straight away to discuss previous attempt from another company. Very honest and professional, reassured us that the job could be done. Exceeded our expectations! Recommend this company. We cannot thank you enough.

Really easy to communicate with, replied to my messages and turned up on time. He was very helpful and gave us good advice on our roof. Would recommend. Thank you.

These guys came to take off a 50year old asbestos roof ,that leaked like a sieve, they replaced the complete roof and the adjoining neighbours roof with a rubber based roof ,polite and friendly guys ,good clean hard workers that respected the properties at all times, they did a fantastic job and we are extremely happy with the service ,quality and price ,would highly recommend.manythanks to Birmingham flat roofing.

Aaron's damage inspection was thorough and highly professional. He supplied me with full video footage of damage caused. He was also very pleasant and helpful with advice without being in any way pushy. His estimates were realistic and competitive. Although I have not employed Aaron I would still highly recommend him.

What can i say Fantastic team of roof builders, very professional and well mannered nothing was to much trouble to do, it was very tricky to fibre glasses this roof as it was technically 3 roofs with 3 different pitches and two drain outlets, and 4 sky lights ,The finsh was top spec , I would highly recommend these guys 👍

Not bothered..did not turn up. Wasted my time after i took the morning off work..would not recommend at all.. And no it did not snow on the day. And no body called to say they were not comeing. I called several times but no reply.

Great service, gets in with the job and works hard despite some unexpected issues finished on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Aaron's services.

We had an uninsulated flat roof over the kitchen and Aaron replaced it with a warm roof. We have used this firm before and think they are totally superb: in skill, value, communication but above all, professionalism. They're always on time, always good humoured and always finding solutions rather than problems. The guys really are craftsmen at what they do: the finished roof looked amazing. We would use them again without question. Castle Bromwich is lucky to have such a firm! Recommended totally without reservation.

Sound advice given on the phone

I used Birmingham Flat Roofing on an outside wooden building which I was working on. They fitted a flat rubber membrane with a 25 year guarantee & their workmanship & work ethic was amazing. They came out & quoted (which I thought was very reasonable) at short notice & carried out the works when the building was ready. They left no mess & were punctual & polite. I will be using them again on my next job without fail.

Called him out early in the morning- was there within 30 mins and able to solve my issue in no time. :So helpful and so nice. 100% would recommend
