The guys in A1 tyres are incredibly helpful and friendly, I had an absolute nightmare with my trailer wheel and the boys did their best to find a solution to get me back on the road and succeeded, also £22 for a tyre Vs minimum £75 anywhere else, highly recommend
A huge thank you to Michael Pike and the wonderful Freddie who saved the day today at Cantley. Michael was there simply as a football dad, but when he saw how many people had become stuck in the horrendous mud, he stepped in to help by arranging for one of their tow trucks to come out. Freddie then expertly winched my car – along with four other stranded vehicles – free. Their kindness and willingness to help really made a difficult situation so much easier. Thank you both !!
Mechanic punctured my tire on purpose to try and get money out of us. Waste of time
PLEASE WITH UPMOST DUE DILLIGENTS AVOID THIS COMPANY. These people illegally removed a homeless person's car and motorbike from brent. This car was on nomans land and it was clear to see the car was being lived in. No warning or notice given. Now this poor guy is out in this freezing cold wet weather trying to survive. This guy doesn't have family or many friends and you do this to him in the coldest months. Please return the car and motorbike you illegally removed. Thanks LA12 EXU . KF07 XYY This guy you removed these items from is the nicest person, Helps everyone and anyone. He is homeless and goes out of his way daily to help other homeless people. This is the same guy who worked as a recovery driver from 10 years of his life being out in all weather's for 15 hours a day mostly 7 days a week! To help others and this is how he is repayed. This is real big problems my friends. It was very obvious to see that a person was living in this car with a solar panel being mounted in the windscreen and a heater being installed in the passenger seat. This is actually a disgusting act and movement by this company all for a bit of money.
I arrived about 15 minutes before closing, hoping to get a specific car part. Even though it was near closing time, Ryan (or Russell) went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and made sure I left as a satisfied customer. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to great service, especially when time is tight. Thanks to him, I walked out a very happy customer. Highly recommend this place and his excellent service!
Went to Rewind south festival in Henley last weekend, the toilets was 100% the 2 young lady’s did a fantastic job cleaning and making sure the toilets had toilet paper in at all times

Just had a guy in the office help me with access to a car right on the cusp of closing time. He didn't have to, but he did and it was very much appreciated despite Sid's law dictating the part I wanted was already gone. The forklift driver was equally helpful. Much appreciated. Thanks.
They are fraud they take my car and the person said that we were giving u money in 3 days but they didnt i tried alot but they are not giving no one use this app for scrap ur car i have all proof of them

Was told they was going to pay me for my scrap metal went there and he took all of it chucked it in a bin with loads of other stuff and didn’t pay me nothing. Won’t be coming back here again

Part worn tyres - you don't have any choice, they choose the tyres for you. Most often, they let you accept what they brought , but sometimes, they just fit it. However, the tyres are really good quality and they don't put any rubbish on. Car parts - you have to bring your own tools because you have to remove parts from the scrapped cars on your own. It's hard to complain - you get what you decide to take. However, you may spend time driving to the place. Next, to get the part out from the scrapped car. And on checkout, they can tell you the price higher than the new part on eBay. Actually, their pricing is random. Sometimes you get very good price, sometimes very bad - all depends on mood of the cashier. Apart from that, rotation of the scrap cars isn't too big. If you are looking for something, there is no point in coming every week because you will see mostly the same cars on shelves. Staff in the area, forklift drivers are nice and helpful. Toilets are disgusting and stinks, but I guess that is the fault of customers.

Excellent service. Well done to the tyre department, sorry I've forgotten your name! Well done to the team who helped me out with weigh-in my alloy wheels and car batteries. This then paid for my two front tyres that needed to be replaced. Couldn't recommend them enough!

My goodness, what a place. Every spare part you could ever need and the service was outstanding. Having 2 silly woman with no tools that had never been to a salvage yard before, they couldn't have been nicer. I fully recommend A1.
Dobrze zorganizowane miejsce na wywóz złomu, choć układ kolejki do nieżelaznych mógłby być opisany na jakiejś tablicy. Człowiek nie robiłby z siebie głąba, tylko ustawił auto grzecznie w kolejce.

Took some scrap metal down there weighing 1900kg before unloading and 1620kg after wards witch is a different of 280 kg but said weight was 1760kg before unloading and 1620kg afterwards so make sure you check the weight before and after if your scales are out sort it out avoid if you can
Encountered a man by the name of Gary. Very rude and dismissive refused to help. Very unprofessional and was constantly shouting across the yard at people badgering them over minute things. Really gave this place an unprofessional look
AVOID. they are ignorant and always treat with superiority, like we are some rags. bad service as well, when is about to get money from them , you have to call so many times. if you dare to express your point of view thay just hang up. dreadful company
Went down there not expecting to find the aerial or flasher relay for my 20 year old Toyota but they had a few to choose from at ground level and plenty more able to be taken down from the stacking racks. Found the staff very helpful and It was a fast pull for me. Price was about half the eBay price and I got it same day, which I think is fair pricing for pull your own.
Worst scrap experience ever, i went in there with my car full of cables and clean copper. I waited in a line with the other cars, i had 2 vans in front of me, when it was my time the guy said that the van that came after me was in front of me and he will not gonna take my scrap. Awfull experience, i don’t recomend
Top wack prices with little flexibility, and they're not a particularly helpful bunch of people... They do have a lot of stock though and it is a very well organised scrap yard!
For all who want use their service ( strictly not recommend) whole week called for Toilet cleaning , no one came , when they promised to come driver could not find address ( where his toilet was located) BAD EXPERIENCE
Very good apart from one guy on a forklift that was far to busy to point me in the direction of the car I wanted. But over all a very good breakers yard.
