J J Plumbing Services

I have been a satisfied customer of JJ for a number of years. He provides a professional service and is very honest. Had a new boiler installed by him in May and he had ensured that not only was it completed as expected but he took extra steps to avoid any possible issues with the manufacturer and the warranty. Would recommend him to anyone

Very highly recommended. I wouldn’t use any other plumber now.

I’ve just had JJ Plumbing round to complete the annual service of my Glow-worm boiler. JJ arrived on time and gave the boiler a thorough service, far better than other gas engineers I’ve used. I would recommend and use the company again.

I wouldn't trust anyone else to deal with any plumbing in my house other than JJ. My parents and sister also use JJ for plumbing at their properties. With JJ you know you are going to get an honest service and competitive rates. However, regardless of the competitive rates, just the fact that you know you are getting someone experienced who you can trust and knows his stuff, is priceless, especially when you hear all the horror stories about rogue tradesmen. I can't recommend JJ enough. Today he visited my property to fit a radiator and he did a sterling job as usual. Thank you JJ! 😊

Great heating engineer too, carried out a detailed service on our Vaillant boiler subsequent to also doing a great job servicing and fixing a neighbours system. Many thanks, MJS

JJ Plumbing's service has been both reliable and professional throughout. I have used JJ's services on more than one occasion in my own and my late mother's homes. I have always found him to be hardworking, thorough, reasonably priced and reliable at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending JJ Plumbing Services.

Good honest man, reliable excellent job, reasonable prices, 100% recommend him

JJ came over the same week I initially contacted him for a boiler service. I've already engaged his services for a plumbing job previously, so I knew he was responsive and would do a great job. Once again he was fantastic, talked me through what he was doing, taught me a few things (one of which being that you're supposed to get a boiler serviced every year, who knew?!), and super professional. We're moving house soon, most likely to way outside his catchment area, but if I could I'd definitely contact him again for any future plumbing jobs. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Excellent service from a plumber who knows his trade. JJ was a pleasure to meet, always turned up promptly and is happy to go the extra mile to help. I would recommend JJ Plumbing Services to anyone I know, and already have. If you want a first class job at a fair price from a local tradesman, you need look no further. Chris and Kathy Goodwin, Northampton.

JJ at short notice effectively resolved the problem of a leaking tap. I was very impressed by his professional expertise, his ability to analyse the problem and then very systematically to resolve it. He was prompt and punctual and exuded capability. It was the second emergency job he has done for us and in both cases the work was entirely satisfactory. We would have no doubts about using him for any future job, big or small and we recommend him unreservedly to any prospective customer.

Had a gas pipe moved , excellent workmanship, highly recommended *****

Excellent reliable service, thanku JJ 🙂

Had my boiler serviced and was very grateful how everything was explained each step of the way…very knowledgeable and somebody I will use again. Thanks again

Carried out a replacement of handbasin broken popup waste and outlet.Replied to an email quickly.Work carried out efficiently and very cleanly.Charge reasonable.Would recommend. Carried out a second job well, replacing a kitchen tap and sorted a WC dual flush unit. Again reasonable charge. A really pleasant efficient guy.

Very fair pricing compared to the market and professional service as well. Happy to use going forward

I researched a few plumbers in Northampton for this job on behalf of my elderly uncle. JJ turned up on time and did the job exactly as discussed and for the agreed price. And he could not have been more pleasant or easy to deal with. Thank you so much JJ - recommend unhesitatingly!

This is the second time we have used JJ. First time was a new stopcock which was in a very awkward position but for JJ it was no problem. Suggested what we needed, quoted and fitted. Superb service. This time round we wanted four new radiators fitted downstairs ready for winter. Again JJ visited, measured up and quoted. On the day of fitting turned up on time and got the job done perfectly. To describe JJ and his work these are few words we would use : reliable, honest, professional, polite. Overall his work was fantastic from start to finish 5*

Excellent service and good price. Solved the leak under my kitchen tap in under a hour.

Very highly recommended! JJ fixed a leak for me - his work was great and he left the area clean afterwards. But it was the service that went with it that impressed me most. He answered the phone quickly, we didn't have to wait ages for him to visit, he turned up on time, explained everything in an easy to understand way, and was professional but friendly too.

Very honest Reasonable price Call him Will be glad you called Sami

We used to rent, and JJ was the plumber used by the landlord. We bought our own house 10 years ago. JJ fitted our new boiler. He services it every year and has done other jobs for us. He is always punctual and does an excellent job. I highly recommend JJ Plumbing Services.

Excellent service again and a quality job completed on time with no hassle

Excellent service from JJ, he arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with my boiler, explained the issue and my options clearly. Fitting the replacement part required the boiler to be drained so he gave the boiler a once over while he was waiting for it to drain and found another problem which he fixed there and then which has saved me having to call him out again further down the line. Nice guy too, highly recommended.

Nice, very honest and friendly plumber arrived on time. Excellent and Professional service received. Booked to install Grohe taps and new isolator valves. Very highly skilled and meticulous and excellent attention to detail, explained what needed to be done. Cleaned up after the job and tested the new taps and checked for any leaks before leaving. Reasonable priced as well. Thanks again a big thank you for installing the new taps and sorting out the pipe work. Will be passing details to friends and family and will definitely use again for any plumbing services. Cheers

Another excellent job this morning by JJ. He is efficient, reliable, considerate & doesn't overcharge. Highly recommended !!

Great service, quick to respond to the enquiry and produce a solution for an unusual toilet repair. Very reasonably priced - would highly recommend.

Very pleasant chap, did a great job and reasonable

Problem with dripping taps. Called and got a visit the same day. New washer and grit cleaned out from inside the tap.

Good service. Turned up exactly on time. Fair price. Would recommend.

Professional, reliable, local and good value for money

Great service, reliable and good quality, would definitely recommend

Toilet flush broken.JJ Plumbing turned up on time and fixed the problem at a reasonable price.I would definitely use him again

JJ Plumbing services replaced our kitchen mixer taps and fitted a switch to turn the mains water off. It was difficult to remove old taps due to lack of space under the sink and also because the fittings were practically welded on due to being there for many a year. JJ Plumbing were successful in the end and we would highly recommend them. Michael Bell

Brilliant service, efficient and affordable! Recommend JJ for sure

JJ Plumbing are absolutely amazing. My kitchen tap wasn't working properly and he was so quick to come and replace it for me. So friendly and my go to plumber now. Would highly recommend.

I've used JJ over the years for various plumbing problems and he def knows his stuff! Friendly, efficient and always does a great job without breaking the bank. Would recommend him to anyone.

JJ arrived on schedule, performed the work speedily and with professionalism and charged a very reasonable amount. Next time I need plumbing services, JJ Plumbing will be my first port of call.

Reliable plumber who knows his stuff recommended.

JJ Plumbing has been absolutely brilliant. He was called round twice in the space of a week for various issues I had in my house and they were all sorted professionally, tidily and quickly. All of which were done within an hour or so. I couldn’t recommend JJ Plumbing enough for anybody in Northampton. He is well priced, a friendly face with a wealth of knowledge which is always welcomed. Cheers!

Brilliant plumber, very professional and reasonable.

JJ has just fitted a combi boiler for me which was not at all straight forward he dealt with the problems so well this is the 4th time using jj and would highly recommend him his work is second to none and prices are fair and he can be left alone in your property and leaves no mess.

I called JJ a week ago to arrange for him to fit a new shower bar as my existing unit had worn out and to service the boiler. Originally an appointment was made for a fortnight's time but earlier this week I had to make a frantic call to JJ as the shower faucet wouldn't close off. He rearranged his week and came out to undertake the work this afternoon. JJ arrived on time, extremely helpful and friendly, really pleased with what he has done and would not hesitate to recommend him. I will certainly use him again myself in the future.

Fantastic service from JJ earlier this week when we asked him to replace a tap in our kitchen. We will certainly use JJ again for other work later this year.

I called JJ on Monday as the toilet was leaking in my Daughters flat. He said he would be there Wednesday afternoon. He turned up on time and fixed the leak quickly. I don't live around Northampton so wasn't sure who to trust. Where I live trades people can be very unreliable. I wouldn't hesitate to use JJ again or recommend him. Wish he lived closer to me!

so pleased to have found such a polite genuine plumer Would highley recomend

JJ has been looking after my heating for quite a few years and last year fitted me with a new boiler which has saved me money and is much more efficient ,his prices are very affordable and he will always answer your call or message asap, he is a polite and honest young man and I would highly recommend him to anyone .

Not sure why my late husband's name has come up on this review but do know that he would agree with me that JJ is an excellent plumber. Called him out for a specific job, he uncovered another, more urgent job, put that right then came back to do the original job. He did both jobs efficiently, considerately & speedily and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend JJ Plumbing Services. Hazel Wood.

Fantastic reliable service, initially had a plumbing issue which was sorted swiftly and then used for a confusing heating issue which needed investigating but got it sorted for us! Only does what is needed, came out really quickly and always when he said he would. Really friendly, great prices! Would highly recommend this service and will be referring friends and family and will be using for my boiler services going forward!!

I discovered JJ through Google and thought I would give him a try as he had consistent 5 star reviews - well he is getting another one! He has been round twice now, once to fix a broken valve under the sink and again to fix and service the boiler. On both occasions he has turned up exactly when he said he would (something I find quite rare with tradesmen!), is very polite, knowledgable, honest and does a very good job at a very good price. I would highly recommend.

Great service and price would highly recommend

'Fantastic service'. I phoned at 1pm and JJ plumbing said they would pop round in a couple of hours after the current call as they were local. He came on time, looked at my toilet cistern which was constantly filling. He told me the things he could see were wrong, what needed to be done and the price. Had all the requires item in his van and that's not always the case with tradespersons! Got on with the job and showed me what he had done. To my suprise he had totally replaced my antique ball cock system with a smart new compact one and fixed the handle botched by the council. Professional, polite, prompt and would define try recommend to others. Thanks JJ plumbing.

Good efficient, friendly service. Gave advice to what i would need and undertook a few jobs in my house. Would have no hesitation in using again.

JJ is always friendly and reliable, I have had a couple of emergencies and he always manages to fit me in as soon as he can which has always been within a day. He explains everything to you so you can make an informed decision on what's going to be best for you/your house. Our boiler died and he gave us multiple options which meant we could use the low cost option to just keep it going until we could get some money together to get it replaced. High standard of work & very good prices for all of the services we've received.

JJ has been doing work for me for over 10 years fitting boilers in rental properties, doing Gas Certs and various other plumbing jobs. He is very reliable, trustworthy, excellent at what he does and for me very easy to communicate with. Highly Recommended.

Was so impressed with the work carried out by JJ Plumbing it was done to a very high standard and I would be more than happy to recommend them. Carolyn NN3

JJ Plumbing gave me excellent, skilled and prompt plumbing work recently. Needing a new boiler, shower and bathroom work, I got in touch, booked time and day and all was done, as arranged. His work is skilled and tidy. It is excellent to be able to know someone local who is so supportive and reliable. I knew of his work by recommendation from a friend who frequently used his services. He gives you a quote and that's what it will be. (If there are any problems he gets in touch to discuss first). Thanks so much. Nova, Northampton.

JJ Plumbing was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Fast reliable and friendly. Great knowledge of our boiler and soon had it back up and running. Well done. Will have no difficulty in recommending to others.

Good service, very reliable.

JJ Plumbing answered my query promptly and promised to ring me back. He rang back and arranged to come in the afternoon. He was able to sort out my blocked toilet quite quickly . I would certainly go back to him if I had any other problems

Highly recommend JJ, very professional and efficient, with very reasonable rates.

We have used JJ Plumbing Services for years now and would highly recommend for all things plumbing.

JJ Plumbing provide an efficient, well priced service. John does what he says he will do, on time. As a local Landlord with several properties in Northampton I highly recommend JJ Plumbing. David Nash, Chartered MCIPD, EMLAS member.

Quality work, fair price, not a nightmare to book. Can be hard to find a good plumber, so I've lucked out here with the recommendation for JJ.

Everything clearly explained, jobs completed to a high level and at a good price - recommended

Excellent, reliable service. Have used JJ for many years and always recommended to others. First class!

Turned up on Time, clean and efficient. Good local service.

Very conscientious. Very pleased with work and price.

JJ has been my plumber and heating engineer of choice for many years. First contacted him following a plumbing crisis when he came out at short notice, since he has done all my plumbing work, including installing a couple of boilers for me. He is very honest, totally reliable, very knowledgeable and does great work at a fair price. He has always been willing to go the extra mile. Despite being a very busy tradesman always seems to find the time to fit you in if it is at all possible.

Reasonably priced, great service. JJ was true to his word. After many months of trying to find a trustworthy heating engineer and failing miserably with many let downs, I was so grateful to find an honest and reliable tradesman. My heating is now working beautifully and my underfloor heating in the conservatory is in and functioning as I'd hoped. JJ kept me informed throughout the job of what he was doing and why which gave me confidence that he is genuinely thorough and skilled at what he does. I would not hesitate to employ him again and will definitely recommend him to family and friends should the need arise. Many thanks JJ.

Rang and enquired price of boiler service, made a date and time for 5th Dec. JJ arrived on time, did a good service, explained what he was doing. This is one company I would certainly recommend and will have him to do my next annual service. I got his name from the Parklands, Boothville & Westone community magazine, and he was local to me.
