Had a great experience with White & Co from the off. Personable and engaged moving consultant (Adrienne) with accurate assessment of size of load, with reasonable rates. Efficient moving experience, despite the 30+ degree temperatures - especially our 2 removal operatives (Tom and Ollie) who were excellent.
We used White & Company to move us from Bulford to the Scottish Borders and they were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. The video survey was done twice due to issues I had with the timing of the first one as poorly children meant where I should have had none with me I had multiple. They were accommodating with how many boxes were provided as well as the amount of packing paper and tape; both of which were extremely appreciated. During the actual move both Ben and Will were absolutely brilliant. They worked quickly and efficiently but listened to my wishes about how our possessions were taken out of the house. They carefully transported all our belongings and didn't blink at the 1 million questions posed by my oldest. When they delivered our belongings they were amazing. Their efficiency and care meant that by the end of the move day we were able to have multiple rooms unpacked before they left as they delivered items in a way which made sense. Ben and Will were a dream to work with and their clear confidence in their ability was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend or use White and Company Winchester in the future.

A great company to deal with, all the team that came to pack/load all our belongings were great, it was a fairly big job,a lot of heavy bits and pieces to move. Waiting for our onward journey but very happy with everything so far. Amey and the rest of the office staff are very helpfull and also Adrienne who came to assess the job. Thank you all.
Adam at White & Company Removals has been fantastic from start to finish. The quote process was clear and straightforward, with excellent communication throughout. Collection was incredibly easy, and he even went above and beyond by arranging for the team to collect the goods from over an hour away and bringing them closer to home for us the following day. Everything was carefully packaged and protected, giving us complete peace of mind that our belongings were in safe hands. The level of service, professionalism and willingness to help exceeded our expectations. Used Whites on previous moves (National and international) and once again all completed without any issues. On time for packing and delivery to new address. The crews were efficient, patient and courteous at all times. Upon delivery to new address off loading was completed to our requirements and the team did not leave until wewere totally happy with placements etc. Only hiccup relates to collection of boxes from another depot where a misscommunication allowed only part collection of the empty boxes.Driver should have called us before departing and we should have ensured we were back to the house in good time.

My family had just moved house and were looked after by the Winchester team. Booking a date was straightforward, and the office staff were extremely helpful throughout the process. Will, the driver, was one of the hardest-working people we’ve ever come across. He made the entire move run smoothly from start to finish. He was polite, incredibly helpful, and worked tirelessly all day to get the job done. He treated both properties with great care, and his communication with my family throughout was excellent. Hopefully we won’t be moving again anytime soon, but if we do, I would highly recommend Whites Winchester—and I would definitely request Will again.
First move in 40 years…From the moment White & Co visited we had confidence that they would deliver. We had 3 quotes planned, 2 wanted video survey, 1 visited. One of the video survey removers was a disaster fir all kinds of reasons & we dropped them replacing with White & Co. Apart from being our preferred remover their price was the most competitive. They packed and loaded vans one day, delivering the following day. The packing was exceptional and the teams excellent. Highly recommended.

White & Co moved me and my family over 30 years ago from Yorkshire to Hampshire. Based on that experience I chose White and Co to move me from Hampshire with my belongings and furniture going into storage. I had 2 vans and a team of three happy chaps who packed my kitchen, my books, my wine glasses! I’d packed a fair amount of my belongings in big plastic containers with lids. You can see how my items have been wrapped for storage from my photos. All went very smoothly. My new property should be ready for me to move into in a few weeks and I’ll be happy to see the same three happy chaps to move me in. Adrienne came to our rescue after being let down by the movers we thought would help us, just a week before the move! It was a simple booking process, Andy and Bryan were kind, chatty and understanding.

The removal process itself was decent and the team very pleasant. Until it all goes wrong… A picture damaged in the move, to the tune of £180. Awful customer service followed, resulting in six months of wrangling and a settlement of £40. Beware - the coverage and damage insurance is severely lacking. Fine if you get lucky, but I can only thank my lucky stars that we didn’t have a more significant claim to manage.
We used White & Co to move from Surrey to Scotland and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. Right from the video survey at the beginning to the actual move itself the whole thing was perfect. Not a single thing was damaged and the guys were a pleasure to have around the house. In particular Tom, Will, Ollie and Brian were first class and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and will definitely use again if we move in the future.
Excellent experience with White & Company! Andy & Russ who packed and moved our home were polite, courteous and made what is a very stressful event so much more bearable. We were very happy with the service White and company provided when they moved us from Newbury in West Berkshire to Brockholes in West Yorkshire. This was a long distance move close to Christmas with exchange confirmation very unpredictable with a long chain ! Adrienne the move coordinator was so helpful despite short notice of exchange and managed to facilitate a move before Christmas ! Thanks to all involved including Collette in the office and the brilliant crew, Tom and Ollie who moved everything so cheerfully and efficiently! They made it all bearable !

We booked white &co for my mother's removal The lad who came to pack up (Taylor) Was excellent and very efficient The move went excellently when he and Dave turned up to deliver and unpack They were so helpful that I would have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone thinking about moving My only comment is that the whole thing was excellent
We selected the full pack, move and unpack service. Packing seemed to carried out efficiently, but we were told that we had underestimated the space required. Since we had a rep from whites estimate space, this was surprising. We later found out why so many boxes were required. Unfortunately we didn’t get the keys until very late, around 17:30 and while we were glad the team waited, the unload was much more chaotic with boxes Ending up everywhere. No help with unpacking took place and the team disappeared as quickly as they could. On unpacking we understood why there were more boxes used than expected. Some boxes were completely under packed, full of paper with only a couple of items in. We also discovered that the packing was much more sporadic, with mixtures of items in each carton. We basically had to go through every box to discover where everything was. There wasn’t much care taken with what went into each box either, clean clothes mixed with rugs and shoes in one box. Overall a pretty poor experience. We wouldn’t use again and wouldn’t recommend.
Hugely expensive. 3x the price of other removal companies. Terrible office interference. We were let down by a reputable local removal company and had very little time to find a replacement. To White & Co’s credit they quickly responded and offered to quote. They knew we had little to no alternative but to go with them and they quoted 3x the price of the other firm. With a gun to our head, we had to go with their price. The team who turned up were friendly and hard working. But unfortunately they were put under significant pressure by their office to rush the job and get out ready for another job a whole day before the quotation had set out. Some of the team became very anxious and rushed about leaving early. My wife and I had to get involved in lifting many of our possessions to help the team meet their sudden deadline. Given the extraordinarily high price we paid to contract White & Co this was a VERY bad ending to what started so well. We can’t fault the workmen, but the office was very poor. We would advise extreme caution booking White & Co unless you have no other choice.
Loading and removal days went without a single hitch, the team performed with the utmost effort and everything went according to plan. Tom, Bryan and Russell were brilliant including putting up with a nosey cockerpoo all day. 10+/10

We have moved 12 times over the past 20 years and this was by far the smoothest move we have had. The whole team were incredibly professional, efficient and well turned out. Josh, the foreman, was very switched on; and Will, Paul and Russell ballanced the need for speed with an obvious care for our belongings which is unusual to see. I would wholehartedly recommend Whites of Winchester.

First class company! We were moving from Surrey to Wales over 5 days and had also had to delay confirming the booking on more than one occasion due to exchange falling through more than once. The office staff were always incredibly helpful and ensured the process was clear. The actual removal days had a fabulous team of people who were extremely careful with all our belongings. Carpet covers were always in place and unloading over 2 days in Wales was flawless. Thank you so much to White and Company for making it such an easy experience.
We recently moved (25/4/25) from Berkshire to Somerset using White & Co. We couldn't have used a more friendly efficient company. They turned up on time to pre-pack our home contents the day before our move, the team worked all day then left. Again on moving day turned up on time loaded our remaining content and left for Somerset. They arrived right on time as we got the keys to our new home. They placed everything in the correct room unpacked those boxes we required of them and at the finish tidied up all the packaging before they left. Everyone at the company were friendly, helpful and efficient. And the quoted price was extremely competitive. We would highly recommend them.

We had a very good experience moving house with White & Company. The crew was friendly and professional. The packing was done brilliantly. Recommended.
We paid more to use White & Company as we were impressed with the sales person we spoke to. However, the day before we were due to move house it was clear that W&C were not organised or ready for the job. The people that showed up were pleasant but they were clearly under staffed and W&C had subcontracted the job to a local firm who were under resourced. Many items were damaged and because the team was rushing to leave the job they did not unpack anything, even though we'd paid for a full unpacking service. They also left all the boxes, which they should have taken after unpacking. We have since made a claim for the damage and written a complaint, and despite being told that both would be handled, it's been radio silence since then. I would not recommend using this company.
Whites gave us a very competitive rate because they know the market and what it takes to get business. We are a clergy family with lots of books and they have done plenty of clergy moves. Being priced at a competitive rate you're not paying for a premium service, but they were flexible hiring guys at the destination (3 hours from Winchester) on a Saturday to do the unloading. But there were a couple of things damaged (antique wardrobe had bits knocked off it, an old African walking stick was broken) and there were various places where paint was knocked off newly painted walls and doors in our new home. (They didn't make a scratch or scuff mark when they moved from our old home into the van.) We also gained a jacket and pair of shoes that were presumably left over in a wardrobe packing case from the previous move! Once you've signed the form confirming delivery (but that you haven't unpacked to confirm everything is OK) then there's no come back. The guys worked incredibly hard and were very courteous and respectful. I'd recommend Whites if you need a competitive quote to get the job done. Their quote to include packing was well worth the extra.

Professional and stress free moving experience for a long distance 200 mile relocation. Only criticism is that they forgot hanging boxes so all our clothes were packed in standard boxes. Significantly cheaper than the completion too. Highly recommend!

Arrived 30 minutes early, were almost £300 less than the next cheapest quote. The removal men were full of youthful exuberance and got the move completed in a timely fashion.

Had a very professional service with White & co. The three man team of Josh, Brian and Russell did a great job including dealing with a very difficult and unexpected situation during the move. They were professional and responsive throughout.
What an awful service, damaged furniture and damaged property. Compensation slow to be offered via ‘3rd party’ insurance company and the amount was wholly inadequate but apparently it’s a take it or leave it situation... No apology received from the branch manager just excuses. If you manage to get a good experience with this company then I would suggest it is purely luck.
Can't really recommend this company. Moved with them last August, they turned up late and understaffed, took all day to do a move that had taken a couple of hours with the same furniture a year before. Moving into the new place they managed to break part of the sofa and scuffed the walls.
