We had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Matt for a 200sqmtr mineral wool insulation project. We wern't sure where to start, but Matt gave excellent advice and provided us with a fast quote. He went out of his way to go back to site to check additional details so he could get it right first time. He gladly advised what was out of his scope, and gave suggestions on how to resolve. The work is now fully completed, exactly as discussed. Him and his team were friendly, prompt and professional and I strongly suggest using Matt and Surrey Home Insulation for any and all insulation needs.
We needed to remove loft foam insulation quickly. Matt was very professional and explained the process of removing the foam. The quote was fair and reasonable. The crew turned up on time and worked hard in the heatwave the country has been experiencing. They covered the walls and floor and cleaned up daily. Rubbish bags taken away daily. The removal was completed on time. Matt provided the report quickly as requested.

Got in touch with Matt and his team as I needed to make the downstairs rooms and hallway more cosy for the winter months. Works were drafted up and carried out in a calm and clear manner. Due to the nature of the space being worked in, one planned element was not possible and Matt was totally transparent with his updates on this and provided and a new inline quote. In addition Matt used his years of experience to provide a couple of additonal insights on seperate jobs around the house that have also helped before the winter chill sets in. Matt gave me a lot of his time and advice about potential work without accepting a job which I was very grateful for when he did not need to do so. By chance it turned out a few months later I needed roof insulation on another property I purchased instead and I had no hesitation going back to Matt. Again I was very impressed with Matt's detailed written report he gave me before the work was carried out and then his flexibility and patience when the move date had to change and he still managed to complete the work in the time I was hoping it could be done by. Recommended to Matt and the team by a friend while searching for a firm to undertake underfloor insulation on a draughty floor. While some firms only lift/replace all the boards, charging a fortune in the process, Matt's team was able to cut access holes and insulate from underneath, minimising disruption and keeping the process affordable. Matt did a very comprehensive survey of our insulation needs, for a house that is difficult to insulate with several loft and eaves areas which are not easy to access. His solution was a combination of superquilt insulation on the rafter and fibreglass on the floor joists, as well us underfloor insulation downstairs. His installation team carried out all this work in an very effective and timely manner over the course of several days, leaving the house tidy and clean after each day. They were punctual, courteous and hard working - a pleasure to deal with. The whole work was carried out professionally and we were very pleased with the quality of the result.

Matt came to assess the job, which included clearing many years of accumulated stuff and adding insulation and raised floor boarding. We felt that the quote was reasonable for the task and was very well presented. On the day the team worked tirelessly and were very polite and tidy. Upon completion all of the old boarding was removed and the house was left tidy and clean (thanks chaps). Matt and the team insulated and boarded (for storage) our loft (2001 building). Very professional and polite with good communication throughout. Final invoice was in line with the quote provided. Carpets protected and disruption minimal. Use of proper plyboard and the railing system provide solid feeling floor and has given me much more storage space (and I hope in winter to feel the benefits of the enhanced insulation).
